"Wow, so father was alive the entire time..." Harley shakes his head in disbelief. "With this new information.... What does that mean for the rest of the murders that happened so far?"

"And regarding your question, Doc... I thought that when Gideon says that the dining room key is in the servants' room and that someone would have been caught coming back from putting the dining room key... Maybe you do have a point... Except, we can't really prove which of the two keys was used to open the dining room... Was it the master key? Or was it the dining room key?"

"Unless I've misunderstood the red truth, anyone could have taken the key without being caught. Excluding people already accounted for, of course."

“Exactly. It’s a simple, basic, and most importantly possible prank. It’s completely unworthy of all our attention.” Gideon chuckled unsubtly to himself.

Lynde gasps and smiles as he claps his hands in excitment.

"Doctor Verrier! Our very own Doctor Armstrong! But how deep does the comparison go I wonder? How much of this is just a cheap knock off of Dame Christie's works? " Lynde said with a mocking tone no one present had heard from him before, let alone directed at Gideon.

"A prank? Harharharhar..." Harley laughed in a mockingly tone. "Seriously, though... The person who played this prank should feel guilty that I don't handle ghost stories well and looks where I ended up... Dead inside Gideon's Benz."

"Although, I don't know if the prank have something to do with my death..." The mechanic said quietly.

"Already intent to move on, are we?" Gideon jested. "It is valid, but not correct. A single person killed Julia. They were not cooperating with anyone."

"After Julia was stabbed, she made her way into the wine cellar and locked herself in to try and protect herself," Verrier said, blatantly ripping off the theory from Discord. "Is it not interesting that the one who tried to kill Albrecht made no attempt to make it a 'locked room'? They simply wanted him dead. What if some of the later ones were the same? Then, perhaps, after it became a pattern, the killer worked hard to ensure the remaining murders were in closed rooms too."

Jolina looks a bit disappointed with Giddeon's red statement. "Not what I necessarily wanted out of being wrong, but thank you none the less."

"God Damn it." Jolina hisses out. " wait. No?" She seems to have quickly regained her composure. " Julia was instant by killed by evisceration after Ingrid opened the door with company. The group outside of the killer just didn't notice."

"Others would've noticed if any person eviscerated Julia in front of the group who discovered the body." This train of thought seemed to be both leading nowhere and somewhere.

"If Gideon's 'ghost', if he ever really was a ghost, was unable to have a real physical impact on the world... what are we supposed to make of the present Ingrid received? It had a card written in his handwriting, which made mention of things that happened on that very day. And for some reason it contained a key; the key which is strongly tied to one of the murders."

“Why don’t you confirm that Julia did indeed die of evisceration?” Raphael suggested, a twinge of mockery in his voice. “It would be quite a shame if you were simply using the same trick twice in a row.”

"Now, now, let's not be hasty and move on already," Angelo said, c o n f u s e d. "Sir Gideon, if you would, could you finish that red truth you were going to say earlier? It sounded like you were going to say nobody carried him up. And if he was still alive and went missing, it simply sounds like Albrecht walked up to the study and left himself."

He wasn't confident in that theory because he just suffered a freakin' heart attack, but he had to suggest something. He turned to Verrier, an eerie smile on his face.

"I hope your sake, he's truly alive. It would be a wonderful reunion."

Gideon bit his lip as he was now getting attacked from multiple angles. But he kept his composure for now. All would be well, as long as he had the tomb. His legacy trump card.

"I have no red to add. But you have not explained 'how' Albrecht would leave the study, even if we were to accept that he could simply walk up."

"Wasn't Albrecht in a wheelchair? So... if he went to the study on his own, wouldn't that mean he could walk just fine all along?"

Sounds like a pretty stupid twist, who would come up with something lame like that

"Oh, actually, the wheelchair was there in the study too, right? So that would have had to be moved somehow..."

“A chance? Didn’t Gideon confirm Albrecht was murdered? The body in the incinerator is almost certainly his,” Raphael remarked. “I thought we were ready to move on, but it seems not.” He gave a little shrug. “If the door was taped, it stands to reason that Albrecht left through the window. If he could be alive, he could be healthy enough to walk—why not? If Gideon is going to treat this as a two-bit detective novel, we should too. Hell, even if he really couldn’t walk, someone could have pulled Albrecht out through the window, as long as they didn’t enter the study themselves.”

Agnes shut her copy of Ghost Fables that apparently everyone has loudly enough for everyone to hear.

"That's no good, Father. We cannot trust words that are not in red. Julia, who didn't die by evisceration, after her encounter with her killer, was nearly murdered, and for whatever reason retreated into the wine cellar, locking it behind her. She then died, succumbing to her wounds. "

"Apologies, cousin." Agnes nodded at Raphael. "That was your thunder, but I would not sit idly by and let it go to waste.

"A simple solution, but a classic." Gideon nodded his head in slight respect. "Albrecht was not in the room before the door was opened."

"I already commented on this, but allow me to remove all ambiguity--Julia died instantly. 'Instantly' means she could not influence her surroundings or take any action after being dealt the killing blow."

"Huh... So, father was able to walk... Unbelievable!" Harley said as he shakes his head in disbelief. "How long have father been hiding this from the family?"

"Anyhow, about my death... Since the car doors and trunk door are locked prior to my body being found... I suspects that my killer left the locked car via one of the car windows. Then they coiled a rope or something similar around the crank; the crank was used mainly to open or close the window. They then pulled on the rope, causing the crank to be continuedly turned in one direction, causing the window to close..."

"Now, I know you might be surprised that I didn't state my theory in blue, because there's a good chance that the rope would have gotten caught in the window and it would have left behind evidence that this trick was used; like a slight opening in the space between the window and the door frame. And if it was difficult to remove the rope due to it being caught in the window, the killer would have no choice but to leave behind the object in question... And the trick would have been discovered..." The mechanic explained.

"Master Albrecht tried some of those earlier. Gideon said, in red, that the window can't be closed from outside the car. He also said that there is no difference between the car and a normal locked room, meaning I don't think the car window is relevant at all, as a solution involving it wouldn't work for an ordinary door."

"Now, Gideon," Raphael continued, turning towards the man. "You cannot have your cake and eat it too. Just as you cannot use Dr. Verrier's testimony as a defense after you have already relied on it being a lie, you cannot expect us to take red truths at face value after already being cheeky with them. For instance, you told us it's impossible to lock the window from the other side--that's the 'outside'. Yet the red that Ingrid had requested was: 'It's impossible to lock a window from outside the room.' Why the difference? For instance, if Albrecht left the study through the window, but then, as Miss..." Raphael trailed off, took a quick peek at his copy of Ghost Fables, and then continued, "Edelfäule previously theorized, looped a string around the window's lock and left the ends of those loops under the gap in the door, he (or anybody else) could have then re-locked the window by pulling on the string. You've denied locking the window from 'the other side' and the 'outside,' and this is neither. After all, they would be inside the house when locking the window, and on the same 'side' of the wall with the window as the lock is on--just separated by another wall. Of course, if you provide the red truth your sister actually requested, this theory falls apart."

“I wish I could have half the imagination you did, then maybe my stories would be even better than they are.” Gideon shook his head. “Albrecht jumped out the window? An 80 year old man from the third floor?”

Gideon obviously wasn’t fooling anyone, and was as bad a liar as he was as a child. “Who am I kidding? It happened more or less exactly as described.
