You might want to check out Drawn to Life coming out in September 10 2007.
The basic premise is this:
"You play "The Creator" who draws in the Book of Life to create champions and items, etc., in order to save a race called the Raposa from some evil drawings. It seems one of the Raposa tried to use the Book of Life, but his drawings came out all evil, and then the whole town was covered in ominous darkness."
I have found a demo of Drawn to Life that you can try out for yourselves though it doesn't quite mimic the feel of using the styles.

I think this game has a lot of potential too bad that it is a platform type game sort of like mario I think it would have been awesome if it were developed as a action/rpg like crono trigger/secret of mana.
Imagine if you had the ability to create your own bosses, evil villains, and maybe even add the option to add your own music in to boss battles,villages and more!
Oh well, I can dream maybe I create a hero from a certain series...

I can't wait until someone online makes one of the auto design programs where you insert a picture and it gives you a guide you can use to remake the picture in the game. Like Texture Geneators for Animal Crossing.

At this rate I get closer and closer to having nothing interesting to play until PW3 release in October 23rd.
I just hope that all these delayed releases mean that the developers are taking the extra time to fine tune their games or add extra context or something.

Never mind, the date is set to September 10th as shown in the updated link I guess it isn't pushed back after all sorry for the mistake.

Since Ds games can get the chance to be remade on the Wii would you like to see another game like it? With the Wii I think they would have more options the user can implement like drawing your own boss for example if they did decide to do that I would buy it in a heartbeat.
