In Case 5, you see quite a few sets of 5 Psyche-Locks. All of them looked the same, except for one: Pearl's. Why was Pearl's Psyche-Lock different than the others? Hers was shaped like a hill, while everybody else's were like an X. :meekins:

This may be pointless, but I'm a bit curious. :eh?:

Cause shes shorter. In the other way, one would be covering her face, which would take away from the situation a little, lol.

Stupid Edgeworth. I read this thread title as Psycho-Lock. XD

But yeah, Brandon Strong is right. If it was in the shape of an X like everyone else's, little Pearl would have a lock for a head until you broke that last lock. XD That would be amusing though.

Yeah, I guess that would. XD

I never thought about it covering her head, though. I thought that there was a bigger significance to it, but I guess that's all there is to it.

Anyone know why Edgeworth is the only one to call them "Psycho"-Locks? Is it a deliberate throw-back to the original Japanese terminology?

I think it's a throwback in character. Edgeworth thought of the whole lock business as "utter nonsense" so he didn't pay close attention while Phoenix was first explaining the process. He probably also considers the people he interrogates as psychos as well. :edgeworth:

Interestingly enough, I thought it was more shaped like a Rainbow, for the cuteness. :phoenix:

In any case, after I saw this in the DS version, I wonder if its actually shaped like a Rainbow in the GS3 GBA version, or if the default 5 Psyche-Lock shape actually works for Pearl in the GBA version. :eh?:
