Which one do you think s the hardest of the PW trilogy?

I think JFA was although it was monotonous...

JFA only because the outcome of the cases were so unpredictable it just became ridiculus.

I agree. JFA had some really outlandish explanations for things that took me a while to get... I spent quite a while on 2-4.

JFA was quite hard I must say. The statement in Ini's testimony about the car from the UK had me mystified.

I thought JFA was the easiest one. A friend of mine had already worked out the ini-mimi thing and decided to tell me her "hunch". Which ruined it for me.

She also worked out case 3 as soon as she saw the bust. I hate having smart friends. AA was the hardest in my opinion, although some of Luke Atmey's testimonies had me stuck for a while. Like, a long while.

PW3, by far. It really assumes that you've already played the first two games...It's certainly a step up from 1 and 2.

JFA, no contest. Spend nearly a month on that torture device. Like, 90% of the contradictions were ridiculously vague and made so little sense.

Re: Hardest game?Topic%20Title

JFA was the easiest for me by far, I managed to beat the game in 2 days without making a single error.

T&T was a tad more difficult.

And AA was the hardest, I actually had to consult a walkthrough at one point or another. ;_;

JFA.
I think T&T was the easiest.
I figured out how the cases would go early on for almost every case.

Spoiler: GS3-4 spoilers
If I remember, there was this one evidence (the map) that was used for almost EVERY single contradiction!

I hated JFA all except for the final case, which is currently my favourite in the series. (though I haven't played GS3/4)
I think that AA and JFA were both as hard as each other, tjough JFA made you think more, eg: the left-handed baseball glove and the British car. I live in the UK and don't know squat about baseball, so the forst case of JFA tooh me ages! :keiko:

Well, I haven't played T&T yet since it hasn't come out here. However, for now I say JFA since in the last case, there were lots of times where if you made 1 wrong move then the trial is over.

The area-specific contradictions in JFA were partially among the things that ruined it. But it wasn't hard. TaT had alot of time where I got stuck for quite a few times, although the psyce locks were (THANK GOD) easier. The original had the investigation hair-pullers in the last case that got you stuck. So it really is quite up to at what points you get stuck.

JFA overall. I never used GameFAQs for the first game except for a part in 1-4 and a lot in 1-5 (that one is crazy, especially on the first trial and you're cross-examining Gant.). All the cases in JFA save for the first one had ridiculous amount of presenting and pressing and going places. Case 2-2 was definitely hard because I had no idea I had to "give up."

JFA was the hardest for me. I was saving my game every 5 mins during trials. :ack:

The hardest part was 2-4. I love that case maybe more than any other, but it made sweat run down my back.

JFA is harder than AA1 (haven't played T&t yet), mainly because 2-3 and the fact that Psyche lock mistakes take away from you courtroom health bar.
This really sucks.

JFA.
Ace Attorney can't really be picked because the last evidence in Case 5 is so easy to know what it is. JFA, in the last case, you practically have to have a good memory to beat it.

Without a doubt: JFA.

Well, the fourth game was dragging on for too long, and the only good parts in the ending was all the Franny-related parts. :/

Spoiler: "JFA Ending"

JFA. Because :franny: raised an objections more than any other prosecutor I've seen, even more than :karma:

The only way JFA could have been any harder was if they moved Case 3-4 somewhere into it.

And also, there was a point where you could get penalized for pressing in 2-3.

Spoiler: T&T
I know you can get penalized for pressing :zenitora: in the wrong places, too, but :moe-laugh: got me more easily.

Uh... meow? Signature coming soon.

Too bad her objections were all just her restating the "foolish fool" thing...she sucks as a prosecutor. I cant believe that you think that she was better then manfred. She is the most overrated character in the series. Her life is a contradiction. She would have had to have entered law school at about the age of 8 or nine. I was in...like...third grade by that age and although I'm no prodigy...well, you get it.

Plus, the only reason that she has ever won a case is her whip. Again, she sucks as a prosecutor.

I don't know for now, but I have a pretty keen eye for details, and I'm good at guessing. So the game that was the most challenging so far to me was the first.
Don't mind me, just passing through.

I'm gonna have to shoot for JFA as well because of the many obscure contradictions you have to point out. I loathed the fact that there seemed to be multiple contradictions on several occasions. But what really got me was that there were several times that I wasn't allowed to point out a contradiction that I could already prove with the evidence I had unless I pressed everything the way they wanted me to! It's really disappointing that I have to tell my younger sister to press every single piece of testimony twice before presenting. Is that fun? No.

That part was obscenely sensitive, I had figured out how it was supposed to go from the start, yet it still took in excess of ten attempts to get it right. ._.

How can that be? I got it right on my first try. I got it right even on the second playthrough. I seriously found that easier than collecting fingerprints.

Me too, but it just made it all too good. I thought that the explanations for what happened were easy to understand, and its unpredictability was just epic.

[edit] but the hardest case is, by far, 1-5.

JFA. Getting penalized for cross examining Moe was really frustrating and making one wrong move at the end of the last case could make you end up with the bad ending. ;[

JFA. I figured the UK car thing a bit fast, but 2-4 had me stumped for a while.
Spoiler:
Like, the whole Shelly DeKiller thing. I actually thought Matt Engarde was innocent until he lifted up his hair. Then I thought "Like dude, this guy did it." Then when the Shelly de Killer thing was explained, I knew it was blackmail.

T&T was the easiest by far. I only consulted a guide twice, and that was for minor things like how to continue during an investigation. T&T was just logical deductions... JFA had some really ridiculous ones and far-fetched endings. AA wasn't that hard, but there were no profiles to present, and it was always annoying when you presented a piece of evidence at the wrong statement (it was too linear, with too few options available, from JFA on you could actually present one of several pieces of evidence to prove the same point, or present one piece of evidence at several statements).

I have to completely agree with Mikker here.

Those locks in 2-4 were so hard that if you didn't understand what was happening which isn't as farfetched as it sounds. Which in turned made the final case much harder than it really needed to be.

So, JFA was harder for me compared to AA and TnT.

JFA, although I completed both JFA and AA in about the same amount of time, case 2-2 was awful... I still replay it every once in a while because I like the story but yeesh! I am grateful for walkthroughs...

I just finished TaT yesterday, and most of the times I got stuck was because I was wandering around during an investigation missing extremely obvious clues... I felt stupid. Maybe I need to play Brain Age more. The courtroom parts were fine with me, though o-o

And, 1-5 was the ultimate killer. I had to use a walkthrough for the entire second half. Those who know me know I'm still stuck in the Water Temple on Ocarina of Time because I refuse to look at a walkthrough, so you know just how frustrating 2-2 and 1-5 were for me...

I'll agree with JFA, I sailed through T&T with almost nary a problem... though I didn't need a guide for 2-4, it was mainly bits of 2-3...
