I actually wondered about that, making one for the updates. I also think it would be neat to have betting tables on new starting characters, new stages, and other possible things like what the Final Smashes may be, Pokéball Pokémon, and Assist Trophies.

Seriously, I am upset. I loved Ness, and this practically spells the end for him. No Final Smash Rockin' Omega, no Onett or Fourside, no Paula or Jeff or Poo, no Starman... just Mr. Saturn to remind me that they sent in the Japanese only brat instead of Ness. It ruins all my hopes of Paula, Jeff and Poo being playable characters, Giygax being an AT or stage, Haunted Threeside and Saturn Village being stages, and leaves the stage open to more of those Japanese-only characters that everyone seems to like but me.
I thought they were going to stick to ones that aren't Japanese-only characters? I'm sorry, but I don't care for characters in Japan-only, I never did like Marth and Roy, I don't think I'll like Lucas.

I'd love to see the Zelda fans harp about that when Ness and Earthbound, one of THE biggest and best SNES games there is, are gone.

All the main protagonists in the Mother series dress that way. Ninten, Ness, Lucas, they all wear horizontally-striped shirts, blue shorts and brown shoes. That's neither "wearing Ness's clothes", nor is it difinitive proof either way of Ness being replaced.
You're throwing a tantrum because Lucas is from a Japan-exclusive game? That's a rather poor excuse for being so upset. I mean, we've barely seen what he can do, we have almost no idea of either his stage and final smash, and all you can say is you hate him because he's Japan-only? At least wait until we get more information before jumping to hate him. And if you still don't like him, there's 20+ other characters to play as.

First, they said they're going to have all of the original SSB characters. Second, they wouldn't even have mentioned him on the site if he wasn't in it. Third, Mario/Luigi. Ness/Lucas. Makes perfect sense

When I complain how upset I am over one of my favorite characters being replaced, you all chew me out. But people write short stories here about Snake raping and torturing Ike, but that's peachy.
He is replacing Ness. He's got Ness's moves, his symbol, and his look. And correct me if I'm wrong, Ocra, but didn't YOU say Lucas would most likely replace Ness beforehand?
Now yes, I admit, I overreacted. I was just mad. This in no way dampens my enthusiasum over Brawl. Heck, now I have someone else besides villains and Fire Emblem characters to beat the snot out of.
