Sorry, I'm such a fangirl ^^; The Gumshoe/Maggy parts were so cute too ^^
I think at one point I might have forgetten I liked Maggy with Gumshoe, because something got me randomly thinking, and I somehow thought of Maggy/Adrian. I mentioned it to my sister and she really liked it, and now I kinda like it too. I don't know how it'd work though, I just think they'd look cute together.
I don't 100% care for Ron/Desiree, but holy snap it was cute. Very sweet ^_^
Makes me sad my other pairings weren't in this game. I actually forgot about some 0_0 Like Maya/Ema... I wish there was more of that ;_: I've seen like... one fanfic. >>

Ziska/Maya has been upped to OTP status. With Trucy/Pearl now a close second, and Apollo/Nick is upped to around fourth place.
EDIT: Oh, and also, Nick/Maya is appealing more and more after GS3! As well as Klavier/Maya, because it would just be so ridiculously amusing! XD

I've tried that... but also, constant reading causes pain without my normal prescription... Heck, I sometimes get in my room, on my chair, sit back, and read fics on my Wii Online function. It's very relaxing.
However, as many people may know, the best fics aren't the "1000-word" ones. they're the ones that you vividly recall for weeks, maybe even MONTHS, afterwards, and those ones are usually around 8,000 -20,000 words total, PER CHAPTER! I used to review multiple submissions on FF.net, now I can't even read a paragraph without an accompanying migraine.
And before it's asked, I also can't read in short sessions. If I want to review a fic, it's the whole fic's page/chapter, one read, one review. My memory is so horrible, I HAVE to do that. It makes DSL-69's "Golden Gavel" fics very interesting though, and I've always been a fan of CFTF's Franziska von Karma/Adrian Andrews fics, as well as "MECHA"...
I myself also write fics that get lots of positive reviews, but I hate all of my fics I make... and I don't know why to be honest...
Anyways, a few more pairings...
I don't like it a whole lot, but I've seen a few Franziska von Karma/Miles Edgeworth fics that are done incredibly well. Another pairing I like is Phoenix Wright/Iris... but I don't like Iris HERSELF, granted. Also, there's ONE Maya Fey/Miles Edgeworth fic I know of that I enjoy (Hey, she's the female Gumshoe to Edgeworth: Pure Clumsiness to his Precise Sophistication).

Ooh! Where are these fics? I must read them![/fanboyism] Anyway...
Phoenix/Iris: As I put it in Crime and Punishment, they're like the wings of one bird. They need each other and together they can really fly. He needs a source of unqualified support and she needs someone to soothe her and chase her old nightmares away. They seem uniquely suited and willing to do that for each other. Finally, the irony that Dahlia inadvertently made such happiness possible is simply exquisite. Hence my sig.
Miles/Franziska: Miles is not a very social creature so he's somethig of an enigma to just about everyone else, with the possible exceptions of Phoenix and Larry. I get the impression that almost nothing but externally enforced intimacy such as his adoption into the von Karma family would overcome his self-protective barriers. The common ground he and Franziska have in Manfred serves as a nice starting point and they seem to round each other out pretty well, rough edges notwithstanding. He seems to excite maternal feelings in her which I think he would find cute and perhaps even appealing, considering he seems to have been denied motherly love most if not all of his life. She seems to have a knack for lifting his spirits that no one else has--she brings him direly needed amusement and brings out his impish, playful side. Also, I see a latent attraction between them in the form of teasing and competition, kind of like a fencing match--a beguiling dance of parry and thrust. They can't seem to leave each other alone. It would take a little time to entirely transcend the sibling dynamic, but I think it's possible and we might have seen it happening at the end of T&T. And of course, once again we see irony at work: the same man who murdered his father unintentionally provided him with a potential wife and disciple in the ways of honest prosecution. Revenge was never so sweet. Hence the other half of my sig.
Dick/Maggey: Among love birds, these two lovable schlemiels form a perfect albatross pair. Too funny and cute for words.
