And in the same case, when
I was so sure I wasn't going to be able to win. Though I had more trouble at the beginning, where I lost 4 out of 5 exclamation points. But as the trial went on, I guessed correctly for the most part and only lost 2. I was like "I'm GETTING this! I'm figuring out the game!"
But those two moments really shook my confidence.

Just the pauses... and the fact that if there's music playing when he does that, it gets quieter and quieter, then it just stops.

It scared the life out of me every time Pheonix admitted defeat in court, too, like
I was also gut-wrenchingly afraid that certain characters I loved would turn "evil." It was sort of an irrational fear because nothing like that ever happened up front, but for some reason...

Messed up eyes that almost look the same colour altogether? .... Check.
If they wanted to make it scarier, either give him a severe close up, or a better weapon than something that resembles the Fruit Knife in 2-2!!! The knife in the pic looks almost 100% exactly like it!

Sure, he's scary, but the fact that they HAD to over-emphasize that point with his own screenshot, which doesn't even use the face IN HIS PROFILE PIC... it just makes it dull down the seriousness.

In 3-2, when Ron explains he was knocked unconscious and the Suspense music kicks the shadow appears and if you don't expect it you're totally "OMFG WTF HOLY SHIITE" and shitting bricks.
Suspenseful:
2-4; the whole thing is one big roller coaster ride. By the end of the first trial you already have your first most probably suspect but then it turns out that things aren't what they seem. You still don't know a lot about Matt, you don't know what De Killer's motive is, you're not even sure who killed Juan. Then Matt's secret is revealed and the whole thing goes down with De Killer's huge twist of shifting the blame to Adrian and fighting for your life against amazing odds. Then comes the moment of truth when you have to choose "Guilty" or "Not Guilty" and you think you've reached the end of your rope; then Franziska busts in with the evidence you need and miraculously bring Engarde to the ground.
