Diego's probably from (insert South American country here). I like to think at least part of his heritage is Brazillian, because there's a whole lot of coffee in Brazil
The Fey family is very obviously Japanese, although they've probably been in the US for enough generations that they don't really use the language outside of spirit medium business much anymore- perhaps Ami was the first to come over? Some family members probably opt to learn it to read ancient texts without translation errors, though. I also think that Ami either Americanized the family name or took her husband's name.
Edgeworth is obviously of British heritage, at least- there's even a British village called "Edgeworth. I like to think that he's a bit of a poser who picked up an accent while studying to be a lawyer overseas, and he's really from Alabama. LOL GREGORY PECK- ER EDGEWORTH.
Gant seems vaguely Arabic- I'm not quite sure if the tan's all from swimming, considering he even has it in February. He's quite the dedicated swimmer, of course, but I dunno if you can get that nice of a tan in February without going for a tanning bed, lol. I imagine he's part Greek, too.
Phoenix looks vaguely Mediterranean, although I like to think he's got a bit of whatever Gant is because lol, cracktastic fan theories. He might be a Heinz 57, for all we know. Gumshoe's definately a Heinz 57, though. He's probably got a little bit of every European nationality in him.
Redd White is a WASP. He dyes his hair. Adrian's also a WASP.
Lana and Ema- I dunno. Russian does sound pretty hot, though. I APPROVE. Might be a little bit of Irish or Welsh in there, too, considering the name Skye.
Ron's either Irish or Scottish on his mother's side. His father's French. Dessie... seems like she could be all French.
Viola's a hard one to nail- her surname's Italian, but she looks pretty Asian to me. My personal explanation for the obvs Yakuza influences in the translation is that Bruto Cadaverini might've been a bit of a Japanophile, and he married a Japanese woman. Payne seems like he's part Asian, as well- he reminds me of the middle-aged Japanese businessman stereotype.
Dahlia's Asian/Scottish. Even though that color hair does not occur naturally and er... other spoilery factors. GENETICS JUST WORK THAT WAY IN ANIMU, MMMKAY?
Udgey... seems vaguely Scandinavian. I MEAN, COME ON- HAVEN'T YOU SEEN THAT BEARD ON POPULAR DEPICTIONS OF VIKINGS? His brother's got the fair hair, too.

Von Karmas - With a name that has 'Von' in it, I'd say definitely either from Germany or Austria. I like to think Germany because I like Germany more than Austria, but I remember reading somewhere that Austria has more 'Von' type names... hmm...
Wright - Eh... somewhere over in the US, although 'Wright' actually makes me think of someone British too. Probably because I know a few people with that last name...
Dahlia - Irish... with that hair of hers.... if she had an accent, I'd say she was Scottish, but she speaks rather proper in the game.
Diego - huh, hispanic's about as far as I can narrow him down to... I'm not sure why, but at one point I did briefly wonder if he had any Italian blood in him >_>;
Feys - I'm inclined to say Japanese even if there's evidence that supports otherwise (I think someone mentioned Pearls wanting to learn Japanese or something?). I have to admit, Pearl's hairstyle does look rather Chinese though... but that asides, the Fey family in my opinion, gives off more of a Japanese impression than a Chinese one (speaking from experience here, being Chinese myself lol!)
Grossburg - English... or maybe Belgian even... stuff he says, his mannerism and his appearance reminds me of Poirot sometimes XD
