No. That would be stupid and pointless. The whole point of the monologue was to explain Matt's motives and to set up the Phoenix/Edgeworth dialogue.

I really adored the switch between Adrian and He. I mean, he Phoenix even commented on how he always needed to consult someone, and how Adrian was so strong, then halfway through the case, BAM. Turns out Adrians a codependant and Matt's a sociopath. It was a great twist there.

When I first saw Matt I thought he was so adorable. He looked like 12 year old with braces. I think his character greatly improved when he got all creepy-like.
