When you're all listening to music, do you ever think that the lyrics apply to the PW/GS world? I was listening to Red Jumpsuit Apparatus the other day and couldn't help but think of...
Spoiler: JFA Case Four
Adrian and Celeste being treated like trash by Matt and Juan. "Do you feel like a man when you push her around? Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground? Well, I'll tell you my friend, some day this world's got to end... as your lies crumble down, a new life she has found. Face down in the dirt, she says 'this doesn't hurt', she says 'I've finally had enough...'."

Also, I wonder what would happen if we actually edited songs and added PW themes to them, Weird Al style? Just a thought. Eh?
"Show me an innocent... I'll show you a fairy tale."

How to save a life-The fray sung by (edit: and piano played) Phoenix

I hate everything about you-Three days grace sung by Edgeworth

Perfect (exceeder) radio edit-Mason vs. princess superstar sung by Maya Fey

Sexy back-Justin timberlake sung by Butz and Godot

Dude, How To Save a Life by The Fray is totally Nick's song, indeed.

'You Can't take me' by Bryan Adams is a good one for Phoenix it even has phrases that reflect before and after his loss.

'Gotta fight another fight
I gotta run another night
Get it out, check it out
I'm on my way and it don't feel right
I gotta get me back
I can't be beat, and that's a fact
It's ok, I'll find a way
Aint' gonna take me down no way

Chorus:
Don't judge a thing till you know what's inside it
Don't push me I'll fight it
Never gonna give in never gonna give it up no
If you can't catch a wave then you're never gonna ride it
You can't come uninvited
Never gonna give in never gonna give it up no
You can't take me I'm free

Why did it all go wrong?
I wanna know what's going on
What's this holding me
I'm not where I'm supposed to be
I gotta fight another fight
I gotta fight with all my might
I'm getting out, so check it out
You're in my way yeah you better what out!

Chorus

When I found out about the release of PW3 here (ok, America, but the fact that it was GETTING a release at all outside of Japan, I mean) I told my sister (new PW fan since I let her play on the first one three weeks ago on her DS. She's 10. PW1 is 7+ in the UK but PW2 is 12+, so I'll have to be mean and not let her play on that one...evil) about it and explained about Godot and then she randomly started singing (as Godot himself) 'I'm bringing Godot back...those other boys don't know how to act'. That fits really well, with his
Spoiler:
'return from the dead'
and he could sing it in the PW musical.

The other suggestions here are really good!

Morgan Fey could sing the Maxwell Coffee House theme.

Dee could sing that Neil Daimond song, "The Pot Smoker's Song"

Wendy Oldbag could sing that song "Thank you for being a friend", cause she is old.

I can't imagine any of the characters singing but I can relate Linkin Park's "Numb" to Lana (along with Ema, naturally) and Adrian, and to a lesser extent, Edgeworth, Franziska, and Maya. And, maybe a few more characters, but I'm not quite sure... yet.

I don't know who would sing, though... probably Edgeworth.

EDIT: Alright, I've got some ideas!

"The Devil Went Down To Georgia" by Charlie Daniels being played during a case with Phoenix facing off against Von Karma with Godot on the witness stand leading the main chorus with the roles being served as below:

Nick - Johnny
Von Karma - the Devil
Godot - lead vocalist
Everyone else - chorus

"Duality" by Slipknot sung by Matt with a little off-to-the-side assisstance from Shelly and a few other characters including, but not limited to: Adrian , Edgeworth , and Phoenix .

Godot would be the main singer no matter what. >:
And I can just imagine Edgeworth having a lounge-singer
type-singing voice. xD

Anyways, I thought that Supermassive Blackhole by
Muse fits well for Wellington. Why? No clue.

'Who Knew' by Pink fits Nick/Edgey very well in my opinion. Thought of it while watching Fuse Self-Serve, actually. ^^; It actually fits more when Nick and Edgey were kids, but it can also work during JFA.

Lyrics - - - > http://www.seeklyrics.com/lyrics/Pink/Who-Knew.html

Also, 'Numb' by Linkin Park fits Franziska perfectly. Because of all the expectations everyone has of her and the reputation of "Manfed von Karma's daughter."

Lyrics - - - > http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/linkinpark/numb.html

EDIT: Thought of 1 more as soon as I posted... xD

'Apathetic Way To Be' by Relient K fits Edgeworth. Because, like, yeah. Edgeworth = Apathy. More fitting for early Edgeworth IMO.

Moonlight Shadow by Groove Coverage fits Ema/Neil, I think. Well, her feelings about his death after SL-9.

Funny topic lol.

How Could This Happen to Me - Von Karma after Case 4 in AA

Phoenix cant sing How to Save a Life, simply because I hate that song. I cant stand it lol. But it would be perfect for him. It should be "Its not over" because its never over with him haha. Hate that song too though.

Cheeseburger in Paradise(Jimmy Buffet) - Perfect for Maya, no?

Sometimes when I'm playing PW and it isn't going so well, I have to think about the song 'In the end'.
I've tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter...

Vienna Teng's "Hope on Fire" is THE Phoenix song.

Song: http://download.yousendit.com/6AB191150500C48A

Lyrics:

Gotta fight gotta strike
'cause there's no turning away
From what you don't want to know
Gotta see gotta be
If they're all going astray
Don't let them take you in tow

You're a one-man shift in the weather
You're the woman who just won't sell
Climbing up and ringing the bell

Ooh you're gonna make your mark this time
Ooh you're gonna set your hope on fire

Gotta leave gotta bleed
You've gotta stop lying still
'cause this is no kind of life
You don't need guarantees
You just want something to build
Before you turn to the knife

When the streets are aflood like a fever
It's a holiday of the new
We're coming closer now to the truth

Gotta move gotta choose
You've got a difference to make
Don't watch it happen again
Gotta change rearrange
Something's bending to break
It's just a matter of when

I don't know why, but I think "Paint It Black" by Rolling Stones would work for :enguard!: . Maybe that's just me, though. It seems to fit with his overall psychoness.

I've also come up with a country song about :eh?:, called "Don't Call Me Dick, You Dick." <_<
And it's so easy when you're evil...This is the life, you see. The Devil tips his hat to me.

Anyways, I'm probably late but for How to Save a Life = Phoenix, is it for his job or his whole life? Just wondering. THe title makes me think, must save client's life, but the song makes me think life? I think I'm answering my own question...(life), shrug

When you're bored, listening to the radio and imaging the PS peoples singing it is fun. Really fun.

How about...erm... "Infected" by Bad Religion for Shelly de Killer? That song is awesome on VERY MANY levels.

Even if it doesn't have much to do with him, IT'S AN AWESOME SONG!
