I don't see why they called this game bad. By no means is it bad. It's just very, VERY difficult, and near impossible on some missions in Hard Mode. (Forget boss fights on Hard, that's suicide.)
Maybe it's because 4 was the first AC game I played that I don't see it as bad...

I picked up a (used, I think) copy of EBA today for 25$ (CAD), and though I don't know any of the songs and dislike (read: cover my ears when I hear most of) that type of music I must say I can already see myself getting addicted. =P Along with that I of course play the occasional few rounds of Stepmania or DDR -more rhythm game goodness- and am replaying Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. And I occasionally play M&L Partners in Time - no, I still haven't finished it...

What kind of games or genres do you like, or which games do you already have? I want you to enjoy the games you play, but I can't tell you what to look into if you don't specify further. Please?
EDIT: Although, judging by your post you like rhythm games and role-playing games. In that case, I can offer a few suggestions. Buy both Ouendan games and Elite Beat Agents for the DS. For the PS2, pre-order Persona 3: FES or buy it as soon as it comes out. Atlus prints limited copies of its games, so if you wait a few months expect prices to sky-rocket into $70+ if not higher.
Right now, Days of Ruin and Brawl are on my top priority list. Sadly, no Ouendan 2 as I'm trying to save my DS touchscreen for the inevitable Elite Beat Agents 2.
