I'm not nearly as informed as Tails is about trials, but I've always had the opinion that trials (especially when there isn't much conclusive evidence) are often simply a 'quest' to find out which side has the better lawyer.

Pretty much taking the characters and plugging them into a completely different world and setting. Different from a crossover in that this is more of an "original" creation rather than simply throwing two different preconceived series together.
Seriously, though, I'd love to see Kristoph and Dahlia fighting cloak-and-dagger against all odds. It sets something off in this shriveled, black heart of mine.

His last chance to see her gone, and her ties with Phoenix probably left him festering in bitterness, vowing to ruin Phoenix's life as revenge for Dahlia. Fastforward two months when he was given Zak's case, and he lost out to Phoenix, whom he has already classified by now as a second-rate lawyer. Not only did it wound his pride, but it sounded like he and Klavier were looking forward to facing off against each other in court. So Phoenix, essentially, took that chance with his brother away. That would probably be the last straw for him and drove him to craziness. Fastforward again to 4-4, where Phoenix pretty much took the LAST thing that mattered to him: the law (as he saw to be absolute). THAT explanation I think seems to justify his actions more than what the game gave us.Make sense to anyone?
