I was all set to leave Houston to go back to NYC, when my cab was pulled over. I was taken to the FBI field office and told that one of the defendants in my upcoming Trial was found dead in his jail cell.
Next thing I know, I'm being ordered to stay in Houston and check into a Hotel under armed guard.
Such fun.

That's... crazy... so what happens now? Is the trial 'postponed for eternity' as it would be in the PW series? Or is it going to occur? (You said 'defendants'.. I'm assuming there's more than one.)

I've found two characters that mean doctor. I'm trying to separate their identities to figure out why they're used.
The first I know is a specialty with a needle next to it.
The current one is a man in an unfinished box(is there a word for that?).
With my luck, one is probably a living entity while the other is some notation or title. What a way to mark a language.

I'm feeling a little better now, I guess.. but I still kinda feel like a part of me has died. I was sick to my stomach earlier, and all I've been thinking about was what happened last night... I'm trying to recover from the shock. Spending the day at Walmart and getting to see my friends over at my local Gamestop helped. (Ryan, one of their employees is awesome. He cracks me up
Though he's like the biggest nerd ever, but whenever he's there I can't help but smile.)In addition, my legs are so sore right now, between last night and being on my feet since 6 am this morning. I have no idea why. I'm just like oww, pain... I have a habit of inflicting lots of unnecessary pain upon myself .

FOR TWO YEARS I was living in the dark - I knew I was depressed, all I thought about was death and how much I wanted to commit suicide. I didn't care about much else. It was only then, three years later that I tried to run away from home. (With a three-wheeled skateboard, nontheless - I was trying to fix it
come on, laugh at my stupidity) That was the time when my parents realized something was wrong and I started treatment. My doctor diagnosed me with severe depression, something which wasn't obviously news. She took me off the pills a year later because she thought they would be addicting and she thought I was doing better. My therapist moved to a different hospital with different insurance, and we never went looking for another one. As much as I hated her, talking helps. It only did a little bit, though because subconciously I was lying about the situation a bit. And now, I'm still depressed and things are just super weird. I'm ALWAYS exhausted, I have no short term memory, and even the smallest amount of stress is overwhelming. Anyway, I'm tired and I've got to do MORE homework before exams for school. Joy.
I wish I could fast-forward through time to my first trial date as a prosecutor. (assuming all my tests and classes go smoothly.) I hate being stuck in the house. I wanna start my career NOW.

What happened?
As for me, I'm feeling rather...incompetent? I'm really worried about my courses this term, especially thermodynamics and circuits. I feel like I don't know the fundamentals well enough to take these courses, yet I can't really get away from them since they're the core courses. Argh, now I must review circuits in its full glory while catching up with the course contents...
