I'll PM you my private e-mail. I'm still receiving e-mails at applications [at] popdrivel.com so it should work, but that's no problem. :)

JFA Reprise Storyboard part 1.

Um, um, um.... it's just in people-frames at the moment, with no detail, but...yeah. ._. When I finish the mapping out, there will be more movement to von Karma, because he's rather stationary at the moment, other than the end. More movement, more detail...yes. And I figured out what I'm going to do with bringing in Mia, because I was struggling with it earlier (read: two weeks ago, but I'm a procrastinator).

Yeah. ._.

Great job with those storyboards! It's okay if you're being lazy with them. I am too. :maya: Can't wait to see more!

Yup. If you want me to try out, I'll try out. Y'know, I wasn't really thinking when I did the teacher voice; it just sorta came out that way... :will:

Great job on those storyboards! I like them so far~ ^^

I really like Make it Right with the cello in there. It sounds lovely! ^^

I'll post again later tonight when I have the accompaniment worked out for Battle of Wits or at least a vocal demo. I have part of the song worked out on piano, though. ^^ So there's a chance you'll be getting that accompaniment tonight!

Just listened to Leeness's I'll Be There, It was great! The way you said "That'd just be wierd..." made me laugh.

And Diana Rose, I'm excited to hear that demo!

My apologies for not posting recently. Certain things are taking precedence in my life at the moment - I won't bore you with details - so it's unlikely that you'll see much of me for the next couple of weeks. I hope to make some progress on those storyboards as well as some long-put-off recordings, but unfortunately I don't know how well that will work. I'll still be keeping up with the thread, but I probably won't be posting or contributing much. Again, I apologize for this.

I look forward to the Battle of Wits demo!

Like a Ninja, Deja strikes!

I'm back from outer space, everyone. I went to my con, had hella fun. I spent most of the convention either freaking out over the voice actors, the cosplayers, my skit or the merchandise. I attacked every Phoenix Wright cosplayer and attempted to recruit them for the Musical. XD I was standing in line in front of the Phoenix Wright group that won a prize for their skit and was talking with their Edgey about how he should hunt down Decree of the Prosecutor.

But I'm back! I'll try and do some storyboard work soon, but if it's not done before June... 13th or so, you're not getting any until late July. :/

How's everyones' lives been? XD

Alright! SUPERSPECIALBIRTHDAYPRESENTGO!

:takethat:

BAM.

Spoiler: Don't peek until after! :O
Okay, so this was supposed to happen at the official karaoke, but AZ has stupid rules and a time limit that obviously did not fit a five minute song like "Decree of the Prosecutor", and so I was utterly CRUSHED. Like, I was so looking forward to it. Then, after the Phoenix Wright fan panel, it was announced that they had some free time. SO... I jumped up, pimped the thread, popped my CD in and started rolling. :edgy:

I had a lot of interested people come up to me, so that was my major pimpage for the weekend.

Sorry for the bad quality, the door was open, cons are loud, and this guy just took the video with his phone. Also, the music died somewhere. D:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUN. YOU'RE AMAZING. <3

Awesome present, Kemi! x3 You sound great. :D

@Deja: I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face?

Anyway! Remember that vocal demo I promised? Well, Diana delivers!

Battle of Wits (Vocal Demo)

Here's the lyrics again for easy access (and it has a couple of minor changes):

Spoiler: Battle of Wits
Edgeworth: (Spoken) We call Miss Vasquez to the stand...

Vasquez:
My name is Dee Vasquez
I am a producer
For Global Studios

Edgeworth:
On the day of the murder
You were in the second studio...

Vasquez:
Yes, as everyone here knows.
You will find that my alibi is airtight.
We were trapped at the studio, you see.
Mr. Monkey had fallen, and he was not cleared
Until a half an hour before three.

Nobody left the studio
Though we did take one 15 minute break
That was at 2:30, if you'd like to know
Sal and I each ate a T-bone steak.

Phoenix: (spoken) OBJECTION!

Vasquez: (spoken) Don't bang on your desk. It irritates me.

Phoenix: Ah...right, well...You say you ate a T-bone steak, but I say you did not! Your plates at Studio Two were completely bare... Doesn't that seem a little odd?

(sung) You would think that there would be a bone
If you'd really ate a T-bone steak

Vasquez: (spoken) Very clever, Mr. Wright. But what does that mean?

What are you insinuating?

Phoenix: Insinuating? Well...

(sung)
Since we know you weren't
Eating your lunch with Sal
I submit to the court, that you, Dee Vasquez
Killed Jack Hammer yourself!

Edgeworth: Wright!! What kind of stunt are you trying to pull?!

Vasquez: Silence! Let him claim what he wants...Mr. Wright.

(Sung)
You say that I did it? (spoken) Very well.
(Sung)
Let us have a battle of wits!

First please consider
The Samurai Spear
Quite a large weapon, as you see
How could I, a woman of small stature
Use such a thing--

Phoenix: (Spoken) I think you could--

Vasquez: (Spoken) I am speaking!

(Sung)
The victim was stabbed through the front
Of his costume, am I correct?
That means he saw me coming
The "Steel Samurai"
How on Earth could I win that fight?

Phoenix: Well, actually...

(Sung)
I'd like to withdraw my previous claim
You couldn't use the spear as we can see

Vasquez:
I told you, I'm not guilty

Phoenix:
I didn't say that, Miss Dee.

Vasquez:
What on earth do you mean?

Phoenix: (spoken) The murder weapon wasn't the spear!

(sung)
As we all know, it was broken
That morning in rehearsal
There was no time for a professional repair!
The costume this object could not pierce!

Edgeworth: (spoken) Wright!! What are you--

Vasquez: SILENCE!

(Sung)
My testimony will be heard.
Mr. Wright, if what you say is true
Than what, pray tell,
What weapon do you think I used?

Phoenix: Well...

(sung)
Please take a look at this photo...
The weapon is right here!

Judge: (spoken) The...fence post? Why...There is a man impaled here!

Phoenix: (sung to a melody similar to that of Reminiscence ~ Light and Shadow of the Film Studio)

Five years ago there was an accident here at the studio
Not a word of it was to be leaked to the outside
What happened there five years ago...
Has happened here again.

Vasquez:

Interesting...If this is true
Then tell me how I could have moved
The body back to studio one all the way from studio two
I only had 15 minutes to change him and then move
How could I have done that Wright?

Phoenix:
It's simple and what I say is true.

(melody changes back)
There was no need for you to carry the body
Please recall your own testimony!
The studio van was parked nearby
All you had to do was put his body in and drive!

Vasquez: (spoken) Hm...You're more clever than I thought. Alright. You win. It was fun.

Phoenix: I...win?!

All the male parts are an octave higher than they will be when sung by a man whether I could sing them that low or not. I wanted to be absolutely sure that a guy could sing them, and the only way I could do that is to sing it soprano. xD I'll be working on the accompaniment over the next week or so; it ended up being a bit more complex than I'd originally intended, so I don't know if my skills will suffice. As such, I'll probably have to get help.

Enjoy!

Diana! I love it. ^_^ I really really love it. I think the tango suits perfectly--especially because the tango itself is supposed to be like a battle of sorts, right? Dare I ask if you're up to writing an accompaniment for it? :D

Kemi, that video was made of win! Your voice is gorgeous. But those guys really needed to STFU. >_> And I really like the initial storyboard for the JfA Reprise. And Diana, that was excellent; you make for a very good Dee.

I wish I knew more about instruments, but from a casual listener's perspective I thought your cello demo was very nice, Caitlin.

Hey guys. Well, my laptop's being "reimaged", whatever that means. It does mean that my only access to the internet is this slooooow, obnoxious home computer that I have to share with my sister, so I can use it for, oh, about 10 minutes before she kicks me off. And I was talking to my friend about how long the reimage thing was going to take, and she said that her sister didn't get her laptop back until half the summer was over. Half the summer. So I guess I'll be going on a hiatus. Haha, I know you guys probably don't care that much. Just thought I'd let you know so you don't think I died or anything. Good luck, and I'll try to get back ASAP! I'll miss you! :acro:

Oh! Don't go on hiatus, CN! If you can still use your slow home computer, then use it! :acro:

*wonders how the script writing is going..!*

Edit: in other news, I went to another special ed. interview today. This is the first time I've ever been rejected AT the interview. :sadshoe: Ugh. They flat out told me they liked me but that I'm too inexperienced, then told me not to beat myself up. Well thanks, but that DOESN'T HELP! :zenitora: /end rant/

Edit2: And besides that, it's VERY condescending! ARRRRGH!

CN! Use the crummy computer! Still be here! <3

ff3girl, that sucks. =/ *hugs* But I know you'll get a great job anyway! <3 At least they liked you, and weren't all "We think you're a huge jerk, so get out of here!"

I just suppose 23 is youngish for a full teacher? As I told you before, my friends are 30 and still TOCing. Though, they started schooling late.

*hugs* I know you can do it.

Erm, chibiryu? Just saying this now, cause I know you're new to the whole CR thing, I'm pretty sure double-posting isn't allowed, let alone quadruple-posting. :phoenix: Just saying.

There is a super special awesome edit button if you need it.Image

Oh crap! Really? :meekins: Thanks for the tip; I'll try to fix that... :payne:

Well, I might as well introduce myself now...

I'm chibiryu92, and I'm a brand-spanking new member of the Phoenix Wright: The Musical team. :edgy: I'm completely new to this site, so please don't kill me if I make a huge mistake (like the one mentioned above >>). I'm a writer/editor for the project, but I have yet to recieve an assignment. Ergo, I'm just chillin' right here and seeing the sights around the forum. I might also try out for some minor parts in the musical... :will:

Hey everyone, I'm (finally) back from the hospital. I know I went AWOL without saying anything but let me explain.

I got into a bit of a nasty accident while driving on the road. Apparently, I was stupid enough not to check my car's tires, because one of them popped while I was on the road, causing me to crash into a tree. So, after a long hospital stay, I'm finally better (still got a broken leg though) and am willing to lend my voice again to this project.

Again, sorry for not mentioning anything while I was out! :payne:

Oh yeah, welcome to the PW Musical Team ChibiRyu92 :edgy: We have cookies :D

Hi everyone!

I'll be trying out shortly, just want to introduce myself first:
I'm Wassa and I'm still pretty new to the forum. I noticed your project an was pretty interested in what I saw.

I'll be submiting some voice work (I'm pretty interested in the role of Dee Vasquez), I can play viola, so I'll be submiting a clip of my playing too, and I would love to help as an artist (no flash skills, though)
