Of course there's a chance...but to tell the complete, honest truth...I only want to hear about "where they are now", and then that's it--it's time to move on. I finally realize why Apollo Justice is truly an amazing leap forward: we have heard of the story of "Phoenix Wright", but that's it--it's just one story. Introducing a new main character opens up possibilities so that we can explore the "Ace Attorney" universe more fully than we could ever have done with a single, fixed main character.
In other words, the more "new" things are introduced, the more we can explore the Ace Attorney universe. That's what makes Apollo Justice so fascinating to me!

Thats what I would like to know actually, because I would be very upset at Capcom if they dont tell me what is up wid Pearl, Maya, Gumeshoe, and the rest of the people. but yeah... what you said is true and I pretty much want 1 turnabout or something of the like explaining what happened to the people we knew and loved before AJ came. And I would like to see how they have changed physically seeing as Phoenix is pretty different from the 7 year change.

Turns out that Apollo was right and Phoenix was wrong. Apollo's client gets the Not Guilty verdict. Apollo and Phoenix make up eventually. I think this would effectively separate Apollo from Phoenix, so he can figure this stuff out on his own and be a lawyer his own way.

GS4 left us with way too many questions to leave me satisfied. I suppose that means that there will be plenty of content available for GS5, though, which is always great.

((This part I'm not so sure about, as it generally is kind of senseless and probably wouldn't work. ))
Also like 2-4, it's a false decision, as [One of Nick's old friends turned lawyer, Maya or Edgeworth, perhaps?] shows up during the opening statement of whichever trial you choose, perhaps even earlier, to save the day.
Maybe the next case could have Apollo taking over Nick's case, attempting to bump aforementioned friend out of the spot, with him/her/it doing the same right back. This could also lead to an interesting Attorney/Aide relationship, with Nick's old buddy and Apollo both believing they're the Attorney, when of course Apollo really is. Apollo might even be picking up the other's monologue to pick up the case, like all the Aides do.
Perhaps it wouldn't even have to be Nick's case. Trucy, or another returning Ace Attorney character that Nick is begging Apollo to defend.

[BTW, this is somewhat crack, and contains GS4 spoilers]
Maya is murdered [she miraculously survives and escapes, since I'd kill them otherwise, but is missing and presumed dead] and all the evidence points to Apollo. Phoenix becomes a prosecutor to put away Maya's murderer. Apollo is put on trial, defending himself. Apollo decides Klavier was the murder and tries to convict him. However, really the murderer was Mr Injustice, Apollo's evil father, who didn't really die just like Thalassa didn't. Apollo's big family mess is epically aired in court. Also, it turns out that pre-accident, Thalassa was plotting along with her partner Mr Injustice [this is why she abandoned him and has continued to obscure his past and relation to Trucy.] on whatever evil things. Such horrors Apollo must come to grips with! His long-lost parents are so evil, and Phoenix thinks he's a murderer!
In the end, Apollo gets Mr Injustice put away, Thalassa is supposedly a nicer person since she got shot in the head, Apollo knows his relationship to Trucy and the circumstances of his abandonment, Maya returns for a touching reunion with Phoenix, etc. Alternatively, Phoenix could convince Edgeworth to prosecute instead of being one himself [he probably isn't qualified, really..]
Alternatively, Apollo's father, the murderer, turns out to be Damon Gant.

Too much Edgeworth, they'll have a new guy/girl for prosecutor in case 2&3 i bet. Case 4 should be Klavier or Edgeworth and Case 5 (if they have a 5) should be the opposite of whoever was in 4 (if Klav have Edgey and vice-versa)
