If you go to the versus (or battle) option on the main screen on The Lost Age, and talk to a guy on the left while holding R, you get to listen to all the soundtracks you've heard within the game (only from The Lost Age of course), but once you beat the whole game, all the soundtracks will be unlocked. I think theres about 96 or so. Some of my favorite themes include the cave music from within Deadbeard's cave, Aqua Rock, Venus Lighthouse, plus too many other ones to name.

Same here. TLA, imo, has better boss battle music than the first one, save for Saturo's and Menardi's battle theme.

How far did you get in the arena? I remember winning about 60 battles and then finally dieing because I got to one of the harder bosses.

I don't remember. I think the first time I tried it was after I beat Dullahan, and he was usually about the 3rd or 4th person that showed up every time. I think the furthest I might have gotten before he showed up to kick my butt might have been about 20 or 30, but I don't know for sure.

No lie! For two years, I kept on anticipating a third game, and now here we are four years later and no game number 3. I always thought they'd make a third where you'd get to fight Alex... well, until I saw the end of the second game, but I always secretly hoped he survived and they'd somehow incorporate that into a third game.

I'm almost through with my first game after picking it up after a while. All I got left to do on it is to finish Venus Lighthouse and fight Deadbeard. Sadly, I'm only Lv. 27 or so at the moment so I'm gonna hafta pick up on the training. There have been quite a few characters that I have completely forgotten about since the last time I played it!

Easily the best part of the GS series was the exploration aspect and solving puzzles, its one of the few RPGs that when I get to a puzzle I get kind of excited.

The Golden Sun titles were amazing, however, I don't think having a third one would really work. Why? The second one really summed up and finished the story. If you made a third one, you'd have to change quite the amount of things (I like all of your suggestions) however, I don't think that would be enough. This game would sell - however, would it be good enough? I mean, having the "dark side" of things is just as horrible, because it's been overused, and really, used too much. It would just be another one of those games that failed to exceed all of it's predecessors because it couldn't stick to it's original plot.

I didn't buy Golden Sun for the battle system and all the other crap - I bought the game because I thought the story in this game was enough to keep me interested until I got my Nintendo DS a few months later. In fact, the story was so good that I bought the sequel, however, I'm not hoping that they go three. The story is already wrapped up for the most part, therefore, they've profitted, and Golden Sun fans are happy. Although, you always have those fans that hope for another sequel. In some cases, you can't really do that, and this series, Golden Sun, is something you can't really work with.

Therefore, they decided not to make a third one, even though the fans pleaded and whined for a third one. It just won't really work under the current circumstances. However, I would like to see a sequel to this game if they did the "prequel" concept, because I think it would be interesting to see how Kraiden and the others came into play. How about the Wise One? Oh, that would be cool.

There were some plot points from GS3 that were never cleared up like where did Sheba come from, the giant crater, etc.

I think it is implied that she came from Anemos, aka, the moon since she fell from the sky and Anemos, a city full of wind adepts went up into the sky. But I really dunno either.

Yeah but that could be explored in a sequel. They could also go the Soul Blazer path and make the sequel only spiritually connected.

I hated Kraden. I was glad when he got kidnapped, but it sucked when he was in your party for the second game. I didn't mind him too much at first, but despised him especially in the second game because it seemed like he was flaunting around his brains too much.

I liked Kraden in the original when I only saw him for like 5% of the game, in GS2 when he was their almost the entire game he was kinda annoying, not as bad as some other characters though.
