The Price He'll Pay
Godot was finally going to make Phoenix Trite pay for Mia Fey's death.
He couldn't take it anymore. Every time he saw Trite breathing was another dagger stabbed to his chest, another moment of remembering Mia and being face to face with the person responsible for her death.
It was all Trite's fault.
And he was going to die for it.
Godot was going to make sure he knew what it was like to be in Mia's position--to be so alone in a desperate time of need. Godot would be there, of course--he wouldn't dream of being in any other location. He would make sure Trite knew of his presence. And he would simply smile from hearing his cries and from hearing him plead for help. When his job was done, he would walk away, and finally start living his life without Trite reminding him of her every god damn place he went. As for those who actually cared about Trite, Godot completely disregarded them. Trite hadn't given one thought about the people who cared about Mia, and Godot would be sure to return the generosity.
One of the best parts about this plan to Godot was that he'd be free of all suspicion.
Just like Trite was for the murder of Mia Fey.
The masked man picked up a phone nearby, grinning ruthlessly. To him, it was no ordinary phone. It was a phone that would seal Trite's fate. He dialed a number and waited anxiously for the other person to answer.
"Hello. This is Shelly de Killer speaking..."

Now... I know this doesn't make any sense but I released it anyway. XD Why would Godot hire him when he could kill Phoenix himself? I DON'T EVEN KNOW. I was half-asleep when I wrote this.
