Family and Friends: His older sister is Midori Turner. He and Midori also have an uncle, Rayton Janissary a.k.a. “Uncle Ray”, their father’s best friend, a skilled defense attorney, and head of Janissary Law Offices.

Griff is best friends with Eddy Skye, who looks up to him as an older brother. He also becomes friends with Lance Bladeston after successfully defending him in court.

Griff has led quite a tough life. His mother died giving birth to him, and when he was 2 years old, his father, Dilios Turner, died from a fire which witnesses say Griff caused. The fire came to be known as “Nero’s Night” since it burned a quarter of the city Griff lived in, as well as destroyed property and cost people their lives. Because of that incident, people treated Griff as an outcast, and he had virtually no friends for ten years, becoming hostile to everybody, even to his older sister Midori.

When Griff was 12 years old, he was accused of murdering a student from his school, and caused a large scandal by being the first minor to hold full trial for murder and risk the death penalty. Midori was shocked by this, and tried to find a defense attorney who could win Griff's case. That was when 22-year-old rookie attorney Zachariss "Chris" Truman entered the picture. He won the case, and Griff learned to make friends, Chris and Midori being the first ones. Ever since that case, Griff regarded Midori and Chris as his saviors, and vowed to repay them someday.

Griff then studied law, wanting to follow in the footsteps of Chris and his sister. His first case was successful, and he ended up causing Winston Payne to retire from prosecuting (and go completely bald). A new prosecutor, Lance Bladeston, a “prosecuting speed demon” with a large scar on the left side of his face and strange red eyes hidden behind green glasses, soon appeared and became Griff's rival. When Midori was put on trial for murdering a former client of hers, Griff took the case and went against Bladeston for the first time. He ended up winning the case and beat Bladeston, who was, until then, undefeated. Bladeston then thought of Griff as a worthy rival, rather than just an incompetent, short lawyer as he initially thought.

During State vs. Turner, Midori's case, Griff met Detective Thurston Razor and Eddy Skye, 10-year-old son of the late Ema Skye. Eddy looked up to Griff as an older brother, and this respect grew stronger when Griff saved Eddy from getting shot by Felix Sourceton. After Griff successfully proved Midori innocent, Midori arranged for Eddy to work as Griff's Investigative Junior Partner.

Griff continues to take cases even after Midori leaves, though, he doesn’t get as many. When a videogame designer charged with alleged murder asks for his help, Griff gets to face Bladeston in court again, though not without any unexpected events. After the Judge passes on the Not Guilty verdict, Bladeston starts coughing up blood and collapses on the Prosecution Bench. He later tells Griff the secret behind his scar and eyes: Bladeston has artificial red eyes in place of his old ones, which were terribly damaged by chemicals which exploded in a fire that destroyed a quarter of the city 18 years previously *cough*Nero’s-Night-The-Fire-That-Griff-Supposedly-Caused*cough*. Bladeston explains that his artificial eyes, with their magnified vision, actually weaken his body and requires him to take medication every month, though they apparently don’t have any effect. Griff later becomes friends with Bladeston, when a strange turn of events causes him to end up being Bladeston’s attorney.

Griff became semi-famous after State vs. Bladeston, wherein Griff had to defend Lance Bladeston (Who was accused of stabbing someone with a sword), in court and go against Carregon Juno, Bladeston’s aunt, and a sly prosecutor / surgeon. Juno apparently loathes her nephew, and taunts him and Griff before the trial begins, saying that she’d rather have Bladeston get the death penalty. During this case, Griff meets Midori and Chris again (Who was actually the defendant in Griff’s first case in disguise), who tell him that they’re working together on a mission to bring down a criminal masquerading as a high-ranking member of the court. This criminal is actually Juno, who not only purposely implanted defective artificial eyes on her nephew, gave him the wrong medication in the hope that he’d die, and use faulty evidence in past cases, but also happens to be the REAL MURDERER. Griff proves this in court along with the help of his special ability and defeats Juno, who ends up yelling at the top of her lungs as the bailiff drags her out of the courtroom.

Bladeston becomes Griffin’s friend after the trial ends, and gives him his sword as a sign of trust. Bladeston leaves for Europe to get his eyes fixed for real, but returns a year later (With his eyes restored and scar gone) to help Griff out when one particular case puts him in a tight spot. Griff had to face Portia Runic, a prosecutor who knew of and convinced herself that the only reason Griff won his cases was because of his special ability (Which she considered as “cheating”) and made it her goal to humiliate him in court. The real murderer had been leaving ambiguous clues behind, daring the police and the court to find him. Eddy, angry at Griff for concealing evidence which has something to do with his mom, Ema Skye, storms out of the courtroom… and straight into the trap of the murderer. Griff is only barely able to win the trial, with Bladeston figuring out the murderer and Eddy’s location just in the nick of time. Eddy gets shot in his shoulder, and Griff promises that he’d be a better big brother next time and protect him.

Griff’s uncle, Rayton Janissary, drops by after hearing about the trial, and offers to teach Griff to follow in the footsteps of his father, Dilios Turner. Rayton states that it’ll be a 4-year long “training course” about defense attorney tactics, and should help Griff improve. After consulting Eddy, Griff accepts, and says that he’d return.

Griff returns from “Uncle Ray’s Lawyer Boot Camp” and meets his friends again for the first time in 4 years: Eddy becomes a Scientific Investigator; Detective Razor is promoted to Head Detective; Bladeston becomes a prosecutor again; Midori returns to work at Turner and Co. Law Offices; and Chris practices law again. Griff’s “training” increases not only his knowledge, but also his height (Though 16-year-old Eddy is taller than him by 2 inches). Griff also meets a new prosecutor, Jason Chimera, who seems to have known Griff for a long time already, and is bent on getting revenge on Griff for causing Nero’s Night (accidentally) and killing his parents. Chimera also appears to have a “special ability” and can counter any contradiction with almost no effort in presenting evidence.

Griff considers Chimera his toughest opponent yet.

Trivia: Griff has a "special ability", which allows him to comprehend things 50 times faster than the average person, as well as form complex patterns in his head almost automatically, and find out who the real murderer of a case is. This ability suddenly disappeared when Midori was accused of murder, and returned only during the last day of the trial in the form of a disembodied voice which Griff heard whilst in a "dark room". The owner of the voice later reveals its true form to Griff, which is, quite appropriately, a Gryphon, during State vs. Bladeston. The Gryphon, nicknamed “Simon”, often helps Griff out by meeting with him inside Griff’s mind, wherein he gives Griff a riddle to solve. If Griff solves the riddle, he can convince the Judge to allow him to present evidence which proves that the person he suspects is the real murderer.

Griff's special ability to comprehend 50 times faster than normal people made him accelerate through school extremely fast. He was already a High School Senior when he was 12. However, this died down slowly.

Griff's catchphrase is "You can count on that!", to which Eddy often replies, "Believe it!".

Griff believes in the existence of ghosts, and has a great fear of them.

Griff uses the Wahrheitron T-3, a Lie Detector in the form of a blue wristwatch with parts that glow yellow-green, to interrogate witnesses. The Wahrheitron works much like a combination of the Psyche Lock and Minuku Systems, and Griff even yells "Right There!" when using it.

Griff also has a tendency to yell "Psy-ai-ai-ai-ai!!!" when shocked, either internally or verbally.

Full Bio: Edward “Eddy” Skye

Family and Friends: Eddy is the only son of the late Ema Skye, and was later taken in by Detective Thurston Razor, whom Eddy thinks of as a father figure. Eddy does not know who his real father is, or whether or not he’s still alive.

Eddy is best friends with Griffin “Griff” Turner, whom he looks up to as an older brother.

Eddy wanted to be a Scientific Investigator ever since he was little. He idolized his mother, Ema Skye, ever since she taught him about Scientific Investigation and Detective Work, and brought him to the Criminal Affairs Department when he was 5 years old. Eddy was very close to Ema, and Ema always made sure that Eddy was safe. However, when Eddy was 9, Ema died when an earthquake hit a skyscraper-in-the-making, causing heavy steel girders to come crashing down. Eddy was taken in by Detective Thurston Razor after the incident.

Eddy then became a Junior Scientific Investigator for the Police Department; not receiving a full salary but was given a chance by the Chief to continue studying via internet school. Eddy was allowed to accompany the detectives during investigations so long as he could “handle the scenery”, and eventually got so used to crime scenes that he’d bring his own equipment like Luminol Testing Fluid, Fingerprinting Powder, Plaster of Paris for taking foot casts, and Black-Light Flashlights along. Razor remarked that Eddy was good enough to be a Scientific Investigator at his age, though the Chief wouldn’t permit him to officially become one until he was 16. Eddy was able to work on investigations separate from that of the PD’s, though, when he met Griff.

Griff and Eddy first met during State vs. Midori (Griff’s older sister), and was excited to have his first independent investigation. Eddy was initially a showoff, but soon he proved his excessive knowledge about science extremely useful when he taught Griff how to use Luminol and found hidden bloodstains. On the first day of the trial, Eddy helped deliver a special package from Midori meant for Griff. It contained the Wahrheitron T-3, which was a special lie detector in the form of a wristwatch. Eddy also stood in court with Griff as his Co-Council Aide, and helped bring Griff back to his office after fainting when the Judge adjourned court.

When Eddy and Griff figured out who the real murderer was, Griff saved Eddy from getting shot. This caused Eddy to regard Griff with a higher form of respect, and thought of him as the big brother that he never had. Eddy repays Griff by bringing important information near the end of the last day of the trial, and by working for him as his Investigative Junior Partner after Midori left Turner and Co. Law Offices.

Griff and Eddy did eventually become a lot like real brothers, and even went to a gaming convention together with Detective Razor. Though he trusts Griff a lot, Eddy can sometimes be stubborn. When Griff deliberately concealed a piece of evidence related to Ema Skye (Which was actually one of the ambiguous clues left by the murderer) from Eddy during a case one year later, Eddy storms out of the courtroom and falls for the murderer’s trap. The murderer speaks to the court though the PA system, threatening to shoot Eddy should the Judge, Griff, and the prosecutor Portia Runic, not follow his instructions. Luckily, Lance Bladeston is able to locate Eddy and the murderer, and knock the murderer out just as he’s about to shoot Eddy. Eddy still gets shot in the shoulder, though, and Griff promises to be a better big brother to him next time.

Griff’s uncle drops by after hearing about what happened, and offers Griff a chance to become a better defense attorney and follow in his father’s footsteps by going through a 4-year training course. Eddy nods and says, “Go for it. I’ll be waiting for you back here, so you better not wipe out in court anymore when you come back, Griff!”.

Four years later, Eddy officially becomes a Scientific Investigator, as the Chief promised. He has also gone through a massive growth spurt, and stands two inches taller than Griff. Eddy has also built an upgraded version of the Wahrheitron T-3, known as the Wahrheitron T-Vector. He gives this to Griff before the start of his first trial against Jason Chimera.

Trivia: Eddy’s first pair of goggles was made from Ema’s Infrared Sunglasses, and attached to a head-band. His second pair is made from and old visor he found, which CONVENIENTLY had red lenses *cough*.

Eddy often replies, “Believe it!” whenever Griff says, “You can count on that!”.

Eddy frequently plays videogames, and can even figure out a strategy by playing them whilst at the scene of the crime.
