And if GS1 was made on the premise that there wouldn't be a GS2, let alone a GS3, then, how can it foreshadow 2-2, 2-4 and 3-3?

GS1DS was a remake of GS1 on the GBA. They made an extra case to put in the game as well. GS2 + 3 GBA were already both out at this stage. Meaning that they're more than able to reference cases that anyone outside of Japan would more than likely not have seen yet.

1-5 was made as a DS Exclusive. The GBA versions of JFA and T&T were already being done/WERE done, by then.
