((This is an RP where that isn't an option. You may have to start out as a viewer or something, despite your character's occupation, but include your character's occupation somewhere in your intro and I'll get you involved with something)).

A security guard saw Martha running to the courthouse. "You there! What do you want?" The security guard yelled, as Martha came closer to the entrance of the courthouse.

((Also, I may have something with that. All I need is Game Over's intro into the audience area for the trial. If all goes well, that may happen, but it depends on how things play out. There will be more opportunities for more trials later on)).

Martha stopped short, then ran until she was right next to the guard. "I have a client to save," she said with resolve.

((By the way, over 200 replies. Yay!))

"Attorney's badge?" The security guard asked, requesting to see her badge. "Also, you're an hour early. We're still setting everything up."

"That's okay," Martha said, "I'll just wait here." She presented her badge.

((...Eh? So audience member eh? Hmmm...))

As soon as the the Guard finished yelling at Martha a rather Tall woman, about 6 foot 6, wearing long black pants and black T-shirt with her brown hair down to her shoulders and black tennis shoes started to sprint towards to entrance and soon was inside the court house. The Guard outside was a bit busy with Martha and she was barely spotted not that it mattered much. The women started to look for the Audience entrance and she finally found it with a guard at the entrance. The guard seemed to not want to move...

"Hey! What do you want? The trial doesn't start for another hour!"

"I want in! And I like being early!"

"Uh huh. So, got your ticket? Or do I have to kick you out?""Please say no..."

"Yep! I got it right here!" The woman quickly pulled out a ticket from her pocket and flashed it at the guard. The Guard gave it a quick glance and let her in. The woman ran inside and looked for a seat near where the trial would be closet and sat down.

"Man I am glad I got those tickets! My Boss at the Security Firm is going to kill me if he finds out I am here and not at home sick! I hope he isn't watching the trial...."

((Seems good...))

In the room, there was a man in a suit. He looked a lot like the Godfather from those movies. "Why hello there." He greeted the early woman.

"I see. You must be really smart then." The man told the woman. "What is your occupation?" The man asked. "Surely you must have a smart person's job?"

"My Job? I work at Secure Tech. I help remove bugs from our Security equipment. I guess I am smart.." The woman blushed a bit. She was not used to being complimented. Being yelled at by her boss....Now that was normal.

"Secure Tech?" The man asked, as if he forgot something really important. "You didn't by any chance catch what happened at my restaurant? In the event of any corporate spies within your company, they could steal security info, and thus, leak it to the public." The man began to fret.

The woman was a bit confused by this mans actions. Why was he fretting so much? How odd...

The man sighed with relief. "Thank god. At least that's one thing gone. But still, I hope this trial doesn't effect my business." He looked at his watch. "Only 30 minutes until the trial."

Martha looked at her watch. Thirty minutes left. She stayed in the lobby, hoping Al would show up early, too so she could talk to him...

10 minutes later, Al came to Martha's location, escorted by an officer.
~~~~~~~~~~~
"Close." Danny said. "I own one. And the fact that this incident took place there could really damage my business. But I hope not."
"It's not so much about the law, rather, it's about publicity." Danny told Asuka. "A lot of people will watch this trial; some of which might be regular visitors. Don't want to lose those."
Al was about to say something, but the officer cut in. "Al doesn't feel like talking right now. Maybe you can get him to talk during the trial." The officer suggested.
"Yes, Al Palochini." Al the officer responded. "And Al Machino does not feel like talking, do you?" He asked Al the defendant. "No." Al the defendant responded
"Two Als?" I need a nap, Martha thought. "Anyway, Palochini, I think you'd better go talk with your...relative," she said, pointing at Danny Palochini. Sitting there for those ten minutes with nothing to do made it all too easy for her to overhear everything that girl and Danny said.
"He owns a restaurant and I'm security. Why would I talk to him?" Al the officer asked. "Besides, as I see it, you're badgering the defendant. Who knows if the prosecutor is going to call him up first or not."
"Yeah. But I don't think the prosecution's line of questioning would be asking him how his day was," Martha replied. "And that man's last name is Palochini. Don't you like talking to family members?"
Guess that answers that question, Martha thought. "I apologize for my unprofessionalism and the badgering of my client," she said. "I do hope you could forgive me. And I hope you could, too, Al Machino. Might I ask what time it is, officer?"
Al the officer looked at his watch. "5 minutes until the trial starts. I think the audience it filing in as we speak."
~~~~~~~~~~~~
And sure enough, the members of the audience entered the courtroom/studio in an orderly fashion.

'Breath in... breath out... calm, focused, prepared... the mind and body will act as one with the spirit, and send down judgment to where it is needed.' Lucias was chanting a mantra to himself within the prosecutor's lobby. He did this every case, a ritual to make sure that justice was served and to keep him calm for the cameras.

Through tricks alone did he manage to stay out of the spotlight, and he liked it in the shadows. He often wondered what the court would be like without cameras and a game-show-esq audience, but--

"Paging Prosecutor Meracad, paging Prosecutor Meracad. The case shall start withing 5 minutes." A call over the intercom. Lucias pulled a tootsie pop out of his pocket, and unraveled it to meet the brown chocolate flavor.

Figured this guy would make me argue with him for 15 minutes. Ugh! Martha thought. "Then I must get to my place," Martha said as she walked over to her entrance. It's okay, Martha. Deep breaths...

Al the officer brought Al the defendant to the prosecutor's lobby, the green room for the prosecutor. "Sir, I'm going to keep the defendant here until you call him (if you do), ok?" Al the officer asked. "Good luck with the trial." He said, leaving the defendant in the lobby without waiting for a response from Lucias.

"Ah, you the defendant?" Lucias said. He was no longer as easily recognisable as to his former self out onthe street. From his suitcase, he had brought more than just paperwork-- a full black dress-suit and red tie, as well as a hairband and some other things to tie his hair back into a neatly made pony-tail.

"Sorry we have to meet like this... here, have a tootsie-pop, it'll calm your nerves." He threw a watermelon flavored candy towards Al.

"So... why did they put you here? Usually the defendant goes with the Defense attorney... unless the station is doing something odd again. Hm, that lightning round was a pain last week..." Lucias may have looked entirely professional, but his attitude was far from it.

"Anyways, it'll feel odd having somebody in my own lobby rooting for me to lose, so let's hope your attorney is as good as he told you he is."

"Beats me." Al replied. "I have no idea why they put me here." He told Lucias. "Also, my attorney is a woman. She was in a trial yesterday. Did you see her? Her name is Martha Fey."

"M-Martha Fey?" Lucias spoke, dropping the pop out of his mouth, only just catching it before it hit the floor. "No way... wow, that explains a lot of why she was acting so..."

Suddenly, his face paled. "Sir, I am really sorry for what may or may not have happened, but it's my job to get you punished... however, your attorney told me that your life was being threatened. Is this true?"
