I don't know why it opens for me without a hitch, but I have a theory, I use GIMP Version 2.2, I like it's interface better, and perhaps something in the coding is different from 2.4 or 2.6 or wherever it's at now. So, thats just what I thought I might add. AWESHUM CLOSHUPSHS SHEERES.
Edit: I just noticed something, on your closeup of Lucian, the transition between Godot and miles hair, there's like one strand that should be removed to make the whole thing look seamless:
I've demonstrated in the above illustration a possible solution.
And finally, way to make myself look like a total ass! It is your sprite, so I'll let you handle it, I was just suggesting it, I didn't mean it in an offensive or controlling way.
