Tomorrow is the day! Jason graces us with his presence again! Anyone else going to check out the new film? I'm pretty iffy on reboots/remakes, but I'm a sucker for Jason/Friday the 13th so I am pretty excited...I'm curious to see how they combined films 1-3...to make this film...put on your hockey masks, and let's get ready to rumble!

The real Valentine's Day Massacre occurs tomorrow!

PS: Jason kicked that pansy Freddy's butt in FvJ :redd:

Saw it, It was alright. It wasn't crap exactly, it was more of a lol lets make a Jason film not suck. They did that right at least. But they didn't make it exactly good. They tried to make too much "jump" scenes that were too perdictable. Eh oh well. It sure was better then Jason 4-10 thats for sure.

Also Its definatly a squeal from one, and kinda a, if 2 and 3 never happened thing.

I thought this flick was great (I might be biased, seeing as Jason's my fave killer).

Deaths were good, and I loved how the prelude was long...I didn't even realize they hadn't shown the titles until after the fact. The main flick was cool, it was nice to see different elements from the films molded into one. The transition from bag to mask wasn't too bad either. Loved the various homages they had as well.

Of course the film was predictable...I'd be surprised if you didn't already know what was going to happen. Horror has been predictable since like 1995. To each their own, though.

Whoa there buddy... this flick better than The Final Chapter, and Jason Lives? I wouldn't go that far. Those 2 are by far the epitome of the Friday series.

I saw this and agree with pretty much everything that has been said in it regarding the movie's quality. What I didn't expect though, was the amount of people who went to see it.

The 9:40 show was bought up by 9 o clock and the 10:50 show was packed. With the amount of people, I was able to experience the typical horror movie going crowd; the obnoxious "OH SHIT OOOOOH DAAAAAAAMN" type people that were sitting next to me, and the world's worst parents that were sitting in front of me. The former were actually pretty amusing, but the latter was just stupid. They came in late to the movie, with 2 2-3 year olds with them. About half way through the movie, one of the kids started crying, but their mother didn't take them out of the theater or anything. It was pretty pathetic.

Also, the douche bag guy from Transformers was the douche bag guy in this movie. Talk about type casting.

Good movie. Odd how this one is the remake and it turns out to be less cheesy...

Atleast they didn't go the Halloween route by making the second half of the film a shot-by-shot remake of the original, the Psycho route by making it ENTIRELY a shot-by-shot remake or the Dawn of the Dead remake by missing the goddamned point of the original and taking out any part of it that had logic or fun.

Almost EVERYTHING that happens is a random event. Like, how that meteor hit the Earth and killed the dinosaurs? Yeah, that was a random event.

More Jason movies? Pfft.

An excellent excuse for the producers' lack of enthusiasm to actually work.

They get their money after all. What a generous world.

Didn't even know the're was another one made. I'll have to wait until it's on cable.

The Friday the 13th movie series is one of the classics. I did think they went a little far with the one where he comes back aboard a spaceship or something (forgot which one it was). It was the first few that were the best.

And of course the best shock rocker arround had to do a song for the actual Jason Lives one (Part VI): :rock'n:
