He suddenly got a feel on where the real Hubris was, and managed to swerve his body narrowly out of the way of the illusion's slash from above, cutting a straight line down his armor and the side of his face... he then turned his torso as Hubris got close, and slammed his diskarmor as hard as he could into his face. His foe would be lucky he didn't strike him with the blunt edge, or one of the spikes under the armor... that would have torn him up bad. Instead, he used the front of the diskarmor as a weapon in this case.
Rygar felt blood running down his temple and cheek from the nick to his face... he was lucky that didn't get any deeper.

The others mixed up between themselves and the real Hubris as he recovered from the impact of the blow. The right side of his face now had a bruise developing, and he wasn't about to let that slide. As real and illusion jumbled up, the second mirror-hiding copy mixed in with them as well. They all rushed Rygar again, this time the real Hubris at the second to the last of the pack, the round mirror illusion leading the group and sending a glass-powered punch to connect with Rygar's stomach.

And boy did it hit... it collided with such an impact that it cracked Rygar's armor and sent him flying all the way to the arena wall, landing with such force that it cracked the wall behind him. He groaned as he slumped over, and then felt the back of his head... "Oof... it seems that I am outclassed."
With that, Rygar stood up and bowed, "There's no point in continuing such a one-sided match. I give this victory to you."

"I feel honored" Hubris said, a flash engulfing the arena before fading, to reveal the one real Hubris standing in place, his mirrors still assuming their positions in midair before returning to his hands. He swiftly put them back within the confines of his coat. "You'll have to let us duel again sometime, amigo."
He turned to the crowds and gave a slight wave, before following the suit of the others who had come before him, and promptly leaving.
Once he reached the seats, he returned to his place and sat down to relax a bit. His face, leg and arm still felt sore from all the impacts-- if he hadn't blocked most of Rygar's hits, he may have been out of steam by now.
"Time to see who comes next." He said, putting his arms gingerly behind his head.

"With that match over, we shall now proceed to the Book 3 matches!!" Komugi yelled into the mic, "And, as a special bonus... halfway through the bracket, we will have a special match between Gene and our mysterious newcomer!"
The audience cheered loudly in anticipation!
"The matches in question will be Orochi vs. Lydia, and Minujeah vs. Hubris!! So, let's get the first match started. Orochi! Lydia! It's time for you both to come out and fight!"

Orochi said nothing. He waited for Lydia-no, Isabelle to show up. If she was truly resolved to conquer the blood within, she had better be willing to fight him to the death. He meant it. He would train her to be a serious fighter and make her strong enough to waste people left and right. Problem was: Would his dad want to begin with the first few stages?

All Orochi did was motion for her to attack him. Regardless of what she was gonna do, he could counter. She had barely gotten used to it, and should she enter any higher stage, he has to neutralize her. A damn shame to kill her, but he doubted that'll happen, so he just calmly taunted her.

Orochi has relatives. One stopped by and intends to fight Orochi to end to tournament... and his reign as Strongest Living Being.
Lydia (AKA: Isabelle) is found out to be of Kohryu Blood. Far too strong for Kory to handle now.
It's between Orochi and Isabelle now. Outcome decides whether or not she overcomes her fear, I hope.
AANNDD... Special Fight between Orochi's Relative and Gene. Be prepared for epic destruction.
Done summarizing.
Oh, and Shrum/Hubris are both idiots.

Suddenly, she took a step forward, and seemed to lean slightly forward, looking rather awkward. Then, she felt something strange take hold of her arm...and it slowly rose up to Orochi.
Instantly, a blast of wind flew at the man, slicing the very air. The girl's eyes suddenly closed and she seemed to go limp, her head facing the ground and her legs slightly bent, arms motionless. Then, her hair turned ice blue, and when she looked up at Orochi, her eyes were red.
She giggled.

The repeat attack caught Hubris's attention. He watched and listened intently, wondering what the full extent of things were for these two, and what Orochi meant.
'I wonder if he remembers where he is when he fights...' He thought, curious. 'Let's hope Lydia wins, I would rather like this guy out of the game ASAP...'
Then, in a burst of excitement, he shouted out with the crowd. "LYDIA! You gotta beat him! Go after his flaws; win, win, win!! WOOOO!!!"

"Damn straight. You're a lot more powerful than you let on. Don't fail yourself, Isabelle. It'll be your undoing. And with proper manipulation, you can master the other elements."
Swinging his hand, he generated a few panels that moved in separate directions, surrounding Isabelle.
"And you can learn how to utilize them." Snapping his fingers, he commanded the panels to begin to fire needles of varied elements, all differing, and some even poisonous. Once the needles began firing, he made a panel protect him should they fire at him while following Isabelle.

Orochi just watched the needles fire. They'd dispel themselves after a while, so he didn't actually KILL Isabelle, simply have her neutralized... for the moment. This entertained him. For if her little cheerleader would shut up, he'd be happy as a clam. Mostly on the basis that the only way for a fight to be fun is for the entire crowd to be into it. The people mattered a lot to him, and if he were to do as he pleases, he'd have to show them who's the strongest.
