After the assassin was picked up...

"Anyway, back to what I was saying...Yes, I knew Sandra was innocent right from the beginning. She's blind, after all. It just didn't make sense. Why would she hang someone when she, of all people, knew there was no way it would look like a suicide. Certainly, she would have seen the red and purple splotches that were the bruises and cuts. And how did she tie the knot? No, there was no way she would do it. But I accused her anyway because of the person who hired the assassin. He told me he'd kill me. When I said I didn't care, he threatened my friends: Dan, Shelby, Sheila, Edward, Ma-...Anyway, I decided to accuse Sandra to ensure their safety... Would you mind checking on them for me?"

Mike let down his mind shield for a moment so Mira could read this thought, Ma is not her name, but she will be fine because she... He put up his shields so as not to complete the thought as he let his visions take over.

"Veronika," Shelby said. "I have a note you should see." Veronika snatched and read the note.
"Then let's go see Sandra, but first..." she grinned maliciously. "The contract was broken."
"What are you talking about?" Shelby asked. That's when Veronika stabbed Shelby in the side and jumped up towards Shelby's head, but Shelby fell, causing Veronika to miss entirely. Veronika smiled and threw a knife at BM, and Shelby dove in the way, catching the knife by the blade on her way down. As soon as she landed, Veronika came up, five knives in each hand.
Shelby drew her gun and said, "Freeze." but Veronika would not stay still. Shelby pulled the trigger, only to realize her guns had no bullets in them.
"I took your guns while you were talking to Don's man, and I removed all your bullets, replacing them as soon as you walked in. You're helpless against me!"
Shelby turned the knife in her hand, and stabbed once Veronika got close enough. Veronika just laughed and came down with the knifes. Shelby screamed and Veronika disappeared.

Dan was coming home from work, when he noticed a man following him in the car. Dan, being on foot, ran into the alleys, where one man got in front of him and another came up behind. They both aimed their guns at Dan.
"The contract has been broken," one of them said. "Now it's time to put you out of your misery."

Shelia was in her office, when she was told she had a client. She went to meet them, but then hern "client" aimed a gun at her.
"The contract has been broken," he said.

Edward Credo was in his office, when he heard a gunshot and the window broke. He hid as a man walked in, mumbling, "The contract has been broken."

Mira burst open the door just after Shelby screamed. Mira held his gun in his right hand, in case anything were to happen. "Veronika! Hey! Where are you?!" Mira asked, running toward the back of the room, hopping over Shelby. "Damn!" Mira turned around to examine Shelby. "Are you alright?" He asked.

"I wouldn't have screamed if I were fine, would I?!" Shelby practically screamed. ((Lol, that's exactly what I would say...I learned that's the first thing you're supposed to ask an unconscious person, then you check their pulse. It's like, "Hello! In those couple seconds it takes to ask that, the person could already be dead!))
"But I'll be fine. She didn't get very deep, thank Goodness. Still, a transport to the hospital would be *groan* JUST PEACHY!"

Mike appeared next to Dan, surprising the two men.
"Don't ask questions now. Grab my hand." He and Dan teleported back to Mike's office.

Sheila took the only step that would possibly save her life. She started batting her eyelids at the man, who seemed to falter for a second. It was her chance to get close. First, she'd have to force the man to point the gun away from her.
"Shall we dance?" she asked, not waiting for a reply as she grabbed each of the man's arms and started dancing with him. Then, she kicked the man in the nuts and ran. ((I hear the chances of someone shooting you while you're running is very slim.))

Edward stayed hidden, but, very discreetly, started texting Shelby.

"BM, help me take Shelby over to the car." Mira said, as he wrapped his arms underneath her shoulders, then lifted her up a bit. He waited for BM to carry her legs so Mira wouldn't have to drag Shelby to the car. Wouldn't that make things worse?

"Shelby!" Mira yelled at first, to see if Shelby would notice that her phone was ringing. If there was no response from Shelby, Mira took Shelby's phone, looked at the caller ID, then answered it. Using his spare hand, Mira threw down some of his first-aid equipment and signaled BM to take care of Shelby as much as he could.

"...." Mira set the phone down, then Shelby, then checked for her pulse. If there was still a pulse, he applied first-aid on her, then used her phone to call the ambulance. Else, he called the police.

((Shelby still had a pulse, but a weak one.))

"What was that guy talking about?" Dan asked. "Something about a contract being broken..."
"Yes. He was referring to me. I told someone all about my...Mistake while investigating. And they tried to kill you because of it."

"The contract has been broken," Richard said to Sandra. "Sorry to do this, Sis, but I'm afraid a couple guards will have to kill you out of self-defense." Sandra smiled.
"Why would they do that if there's a solid case against me? Or is the case actually very weak?" Sandra asked. Richard grabbed her arm.
"No, but I cannot take my chances with that damn detective."
"Ah, I see. In that case..." Richard looked at Sandra, who spat in his eye. He screamed and used the arm that was holding Sandra to wipe his eye and Sandra ran. The doors to the detention center flew open, and two guards were just walking in. Sandra jumped high over them and kept running.
Mira...A couple guys are trying to kill me. In order to avoid them, I must escape. I think I'll go to prison for it... Sandra ran out the next set of doors and the alarm sounded.

"Ack......" Mira said. After calling the ambulance, Mira told BM to say with Shelby and make sure she stays alive. With that, Mira left. Where is she? Mira asked himself. Wait! Mira remembered and deduced that back when she called Sandra, which led to the arrest of Richard, he called Sandra's cell phone. He used a phone tracking application on his phone and inputted Sandra's cell phone number, using that to drive to Sandra's location - assuming she had her phone with her.

Sandra quickly answered her cellphone, which she was surprised that the incompetent officers didn't find while they were searching her.
"Mira. I'm glad you called!" Sandra shouted over the sound of barking dogs and sirens. "I'll try to avoid detection until you get here, but it'll be tricky! They're already thinking about using helicopters in case the dogs don't find me. Look, I think something awful is going on. Richard was thinking about..." Sandra's cellphone died at that point.
((I'd imagine she's somewhere in the middle of the city, possibly hiding by a trashcan or dumpster in order to make it harder for the dogs to smell her.))

"Damn technology." Mira muttered to himself. But then he heard sirens and barking dogs in the distance. He drove over to the source of the sound, calling the detention center to see what the deal was. Of course, he kept his eye out for Sandra.

"A prisoner escaped," a very bored-sounding man said. "She is to be brought back here until we can decide which prison to send her to make sure this never happens again."

Sandra saw Mira's car coming close.
Mira, she thought. I'm hiding in the next alley, behind the dumpster, but... Then, she heard a dog barking, dragging a police officer down the alley towards her. Here I come! She leaped over the dumpster, hearing gunshots, but not feeling any hit as she ran towards the dog, knowing if she could jut get behind the dog, she'd be safe. She heard more gunshots, and just when she was there, so close to jumping over the dog...She finally felt a bullet hit her leg, and she toppled over. The dog growled at her as she fell.
"Good boy," said the officer. "Now to take you back where you belong."
"Officer, I really think you got it all wrong and..." Sandra paused slightly. "Look behind you! It's an FBI agent!"
"Yeah, right. That's what all prisoners say when they know they'll be caught."

Mira turned sharply toward the alley, hitting the brakes as the turn was performed, then accelerating when the car was lined up with the alley. As soon as the car entered the alley, Mira hit the brakes, turned the car off, took his gun from his gun compartment, took out his badge, then got out the car. "FBI, get outta my way!" Mira yelled, pushing police officers aside, flashing his badge when he got the chance. Then Mira saw the wound on Sandra's leg. "Perform first-aid on the victim, then leave the scene!" Mira commanded.

Sandra looked at the policeman and said, "But he told you to leave the scene after performing first aid, did he not? I believe, no offense, that an FBI agent outranks you." The cop clenched his fists, but pulled out a first aid kit and bandaged the leg.

"Very well. I'm heading over right now." Mira said, in his distorted voice, then hung up. "We're going over to your house to meet the suspect. We need to get there ASAP." Mira told Sandra. "Oh right, that business card: it's an ad for an assassination service. We'll talk about it on the way over." Mira then turned on the ignition and started on his way to Sandra's house.

We used to work together and were best friends...Who else did he talk about?" She couldn't hide her interest as she asked.

Come on, Shelby. Why is no one here yet? Edward thought anxiously. He was surprised he managed to stay hidden so long. His muscles were cramped and sore, yet if he stretched, he would be found. He was afraid to breathe too heavily, so he barely breathed at all. The man was in his office, and wouldn't leave. If only there was some window of opportunity to escape...

Sheila Axiom darted straight to the police station, which wasn't far from her office. She knew she would be safe there. At least, temporarily.

"Hello?" she asked in her usual sweet voice.

Ugh! I don't know how much longer I can stay here, Edward thought. Then, he saw a gun slide under the couch, where he was.
"Get out from under there," the man said. "Unless you'd rather me kill you now."
Shit! Edward slowly got out from under the couch, taking as much time as he possibly could.
"You thought you could hide from me, huh?" he asked. "Nobody can hide. Nobody can escape. Not even the police can help anyone now." The gun was right up against Edward's head. No way to run. No way to save himself.

"Excuse me, Officer. There's a man with a gun chasing me, and..." Sheila said. The cop pulled out his gun.
"The contract has been broken, my dear. You were meant to die. So sorry," the officer said. Sheila knew there was no way to run away. She was too close to the man. No, the only thing she could do...Was move closer. She disgusted herself as she leaned in and kissed the cop on the lips, holding it as long as she could while she reached into her pocket...

Sandra jumped out of the car as soon as Mira stopped and ran into the building ((Saying "Ouch." XD)) that only looked like a white blob with a red blob where the door was and a bunch of black blobs near the entrance.

"Say goodnight, Mr. Edward Credo," the man said.
"Good night!" Sandra yelled. The man turned around, pointing his gun at Sandra, but Edward seized the opportunity and smacked the man over the head with a vase that was on the coffee table nearby. The man fell to the ground. Both Sandra and Edward panted, staring at each other.
