Maybe they did have to put him in, but they ditched all the things that made him so loveable. The spiky hair's gone, no one picks on him anymore and he doesn't have his attorney's badge to show off to everybody. I'd probably love his cool, laid back manner if it was a new character, not our Nick. It felt like 3 games' worth of character development down the drain.
Anyway, the point is, I could do without him. Maybe there wouldn't be as many complaints about Apollo if they gave him a little more development instead of focusing everything on Phoenix.
As of Mia, I like her and all, but I think she came back a little too much. I mean, she was there for 3/5 cases in the first game, 2/4 in the second and 4/5 in the third.

I feel sorry for Phoenix, how is he meant to have a decent relationship with a woman with Maya and Pearl around? Any sniff of a date and Pearl flys into a rage and Maya would drive most people away from coming around with her immature attitude.
