The game starts off with the cutscene of Makoto shooting the detective. It then cuts to Edgeworth, who walks in a few minutes later and finds the body. He's then threatened by the silhouetted killer, who shoots his suit off the wall and leaves.

It's all really nicely animated. When Edgeworth finds the body, for instance, he drops his suitcase in shock.

No 3D check on the Prosecutor's Badge, unfortunately.

OH GOD THE CORNERED MUSIC IS JAZZILY ASTOUNDING

-The Steel Samurai theme appears.

That was pretty awesome. Makoto has his own "igiari!" He also has like six or seven testimonies, god damn.

His first few use Examination ~ Moderato 2009, the second few Allegro 2009, and the final one uses a completely different... super allegro or something. It's awesome.

There's a lot of different music in the game. Like, a lot.

As far as I can tell, thus far penalties only come in one size, 1/10th the bar. This'll probably change later.

The first case even sounds epic. Mask*DeMasque theme wins it for me.

So far so good. Nothing too deep so far, but they are certainly piling up the incomplete cases. Will be interesting to see where it goes.
- Love the work on the talking sprites, they seem a lot more lively now. Even the old sprites have definitely had a lot of modification, but still kept to the old style.
- Music is great. Only the investigation music gets on my nerves after awhile
- Jinmon (Questioning?) seems easier than before, a bit too easy perhaps.
- I expected the area available for investigation to be more open. You seem to always be stuck in one place.
- They seem to have kept Mitsurugi's character intact perfectly

- Straight into the action, nice.
- Some of the things like the basketball hoop seemed really silly. I mean... come on, I know it's supposed to be a little silly, but he carried a basketball hoop 12 stories into an office hallway?
- Music in the final questioning was cool, was not mad about the first one though...
- I find it funny how irrlevant that other prosecutor was, (even i forgot his name... :P) everyone seemed so exited that he was there.
- Victory music is very nice.

- I so expected this to involve going through all those passengers. They all seemed to have their own important personality at first.
- I knew who the culprit was the second I layed eyes on her. I mean really, cute girl - too obvious :P
- I loved Shiraoto's theme, and her way of speaking, she was very cute.
- It was much longer than I expected.
- When Mei arrived I got goosebumps. I love that revival song. They kept her personality good as well, besides the fact that she initially thought Mitsurugi was the culprit, found that a bit ooc.
- The Borginia and even smuggling reference was cool. Glad they are tying in some connections
- Music when you need to present the cellphone was awesome. Hope they use it more.
- I kept trying to present that damn photo of the statue too early! Thinking I was so smart....
- Looking forward to Mikumo next case :P

Nice how there is already a connection between cases building up, although the ZOMG important old case idea is reused.
Yeah, Auchi's cameo was hilarious in how irrelevant he is. It has always been a running gag that people forget they've even met him before.
The hoop thingy was a bit rediculous because it's so obvious it has been moved. Who'd make that mistake?
