I made my dad play it, but he's really bad at it. I left him for an hour playing 1-2, and I came back an hour later.
He had just met Grossberg. ._.
My mum doesn't want to play it, just cos she doesn't find video games "fun". I know this is a complete lie, seeing as she loves MarioKart.

My mom: I think she would play it if I introduced it to her. She really interested in murder cases.

My dad: I don't see him being interested in the game.

My brother: Thinks that the game is lame.

My younger sister: I'm trying to get her into the game, but she complains that the game is too hard. She only played 1-1 and the beginning of 1-2, with my help. :nick:

Oh, right. I forgot to mention that my brother is currently playing AA1. He's on the second case and thinks it's exciting, despite the fact that he knows the name of almost every killer.

She got up to 1-3, so that's not to bad.
And she also looks at my computer screen when I go on this (amzgin) website.

Well, my brother and I play the games and talk about them together. That alone is a plus, since we don't really get along nowadays unless we're talking about PW or Pokemon or video games in general. But my brother thinks I'm "obsessed".

My mother likes that we use our brains when playing the games. I'm also slightly claustrophobic and was having an MRI done once. She encouraged me to think up Phoenix Wright fanfiction ideas while I was in there so I wouldn't be scared. XD

I bought and started playing my copy of T&T while on a trip to the city with family(YAY for being a bumpkin).

Spoiler: T&T 1-1 Spoilers
I sat in an Olive Garden restaurant for an hour screaming at the screen that "that horrible red headed she-witch is the BANE OF EXISTENCE DON'T EAT THAT NECKLACE, PHOENIX, YOU TOOL" and my cousins got really really interested in why I was so mad <_< One suggested I get the game for his birthday, and my aunt started naming off old court movies I should watch >_>;

I also scared the waiter.

I tend to get vocal when I play games. Lots of NUH UHs and WTF IT'S TOTALLY A CONTRADICTION which makes people around me curious <_< You should see my RP forum's chat logs.

I think the last time my parents ever saw me playing a video game was about two years ago- my dad was REALLY interested in Devil May Cry 3, LOL.

Regarding Phoenix Wright though, they have no idea about it.

On the other hand, playing Phoenix Wright brings me funny memories of working as an intern for the past three summers at my uncle's law firm... We were eating lunch one day and got into a huge argument about Megatron (yes, the transformer)- when I was little, I always saw commercials for the toys and thought he transformed into a tank, while he was arguing that he transformed into a gun (which I couldn't believe until I saw the actual original one). It was a pretty funny conversation overall, but he was pretty hilarious for a lawyer, and was very fun to work with :D.

I'm heading back home in a month or so, so I think if I stop by the office to say hello, I'll certainly ask if he's heard of it yet.

P.S.: I wish real court was similar to Ace Attorney :(.

I go on and on about it, but they seem to listen and even occasionally ask me about it. They're reactions about certain things are pretty funny. For some strange reason, my dad always gets Trucy and Maya mixed up.

Here was some recent conversation that I thought was funny...

---
Me: *is playing* OBJECTION!! ---Oh what?! The music didn't stop, I got it WRONG?! STUPID KLAVIER! STOP SMILING! Daaaadddy!
My Dad: What? *laughes and then looks over at screen* Is that that magic panties girl?
Me: ...HAHAHA! Yeah, thats Trucy, but shes not being much of a help right now...
My Dad: I'd like to see her get away with wearing her that in court!
Me: Oh thats nothing! You should see Franziska and her whip and Godot and his coffee.
My Dad: :eh?:
Me: *goes back to playing*
My Dad: *grabs the nintendo ds out of my hands and tries to yell objection, but nothing happens*
--

Then another one with my mom...

Me: Pssst! Mommy!
My Mom: What?
Me: I want to show you something on Ace Attorney.
My Mom: Okay.
Me: You see that? Thats Klavier. Now, watch this...
*Klavier does air-guitar*
My Mom: Oh my god! *laughes and covers her mouth*
Me: Yeah, hes the prosecutor and a rockstar.
My Mom: *laughes more and then suddenly stops*
Me: What??
My Mom: Wait... Give me that, I wanna yell objection.
Me: WOOHOO!

--

Its also fun to randomly speak out loud the conversation thats happening in the game. ESPECIALLY, when change your voice to match the characters... xD

I do that. Except I make sure the voices DON'T match.
I make Ron sound like the Hulk, Will sound like a wimp, Luke like he's Scottish, Tigre with a brittish accent (I even improvise some lines...), and my best one is prolly me making Galactica sound NOT gay.

My god, I do that constantly. My favourites are Victor Kudo, Ben and Trilo, Moe and Jean Armstrong. I do the girls as well, and my best one is April May.

Anyhow, I keep bothering my mum while playing the cases about things for fun.

Incidentally, my dad is a lawyer. Corporate, though, not individual. Both my parents have a general "it's for kids" attitude towards games, so they usually refer to it as "that crazy lawyer ninja game". I dunno where they got the ninja part from, but they did.

I actually think my mom would enjoy the series, she's a mystery nut. She'd probably have every case solved within ten seconds, though.

My mom has tried to play JFA and she failed. She has no clue how to use a DS, so most of the time she freaked out. She thought the first turnabout was hard... I thought she would like it because she's into mystery who-dunnits and stuff. Usually when my oldest sister and I talk about it, she just thinks we're weird because we talk about it in depth so much.

I kinda talk about the games with my dad. He seems mildly interested in the plots of the trials and stuff, but he doesn't seem like he'd play it any time soon... I think that he'd might like it if he tried it. He hates lawyers irl, though DX

My oldest sister has played all the games and she really likes them, not as much as me, but we occasionally talk about them. She's a big Klavier fan and also loves Edgeworth. Big Edgeworth/Phoenix and Klavier/Apollo shipper, much to my dismay...

My other older sister played JFA once and thought it was too hard. She didn't seem to care for it too much.

My best friend played JFA(ok this was the only PW game I had at the time hehehe XD) and she had some trouble with it, but she got to the 2nd or 3rd chapter, I can't remember. She seemed to kinda like it, but she wasn't too in them to want to play more. Ugh, it's so frustrating knowing only one person irl that likes the games almost as much as me... I wish more people knew about these games.

This happened earlier today and it made me laugh so hard.

Okay, so I'm playing 3-3, right? I get to Tres Bien and decided to creep my mom out. I called her over and after a bit of explaining and continuing the story, she finally sees Armstrong. Her raction was this: "OHMYGOD, IS THAT A FAT GAY PEDO FRENCH CHEF!??!" I told her except for the pedo part, yes.

Then I continued a bit more and showed her this.
Image

She asked what the f*ck kinda game I was playing. I said a lawyer game, and she just gave me this LOOK. XD

I would have never guessed that other people act out the characters. My brother laughs hysterically when Ido it.

Anyways, my mom thinks it's a cool idea for a game, and my brother likes it almost as much as I do.

My mum seems to think that all the video games I play are completely ridiculous, and PW is no exception (can i get some parents with imaginations, please?). I have no idea what Dad would think of the games, but I totally can't see him playing them because, well, he's an idiot. My sister's a fan, though (probably just as well, it's one of the few things we have in common), and I have a surprising number of friends who have played them.

Well my mom may not like the series, and my dad is starting to get annoyed at how much I talk about it, but I have converted my older brother! I let him play the first case on my copy of the game, and then he secretly bought his own copy. He loved it, but was hesitant to tell me b/c he knew I would go crazy with joy (which... yeah, I pretty much did.) He beat the first game and wants to borrow my copy of JFA now. WIN.

Me and my brother talk about it quite a bit, but our parents basically smile, nod, and try to respond to us like she has some clue what we mean or what we're even talking about. She usually doesn't.

Some of my friends have heard of it, but usually when I say how awesome Edgeworth or Phoenix are and they're like, "Yeah, they're pretty cool!" I'm like, "...You barely have a clue! Shut up!" xD
