And... sorry if you can't read my handwriting. It's a sort of corny joke anyway. I just thought of it when I saw Matt do that at that one point in the game. I didn't mean to copy the pose exactly from his sprite, but after I had started coloring it I realized that I had forgotten to change some things. Oh well, I think it still looks nice. My brother is currently borrowing my scanner, so my other drawings will probably be posted later today or quite possibly tomorrow. I just posted Matt there first because it's my favorite pic. =)

I'm dead serious when I say I intended it to be a picture of Mr. Wellington at first. I don't know how Max got in there, but I have no objections (even if it is a strange pairing).
I was going to post two more, one of Acro and one of Richard (yeah, another). The one of Acro is meh, and was more of a gift for a friend of mine, and the other one of Richard is okay but... I'm kind of embarassed that I drew his face crooked (or maybe it's his glasses but I doubt it).
I might post them later on, when I feel more confident.
So sorry, today I only have two to present.

On another note, putting that picture in my sig wasn't the only stupid thing I've done recently. Thankfully though, the nasty papercut I gave myself this morning didn't cause me to bleed on the half-finished comic that I'm going to try to finish this weekend unless I get too lazy.
It's a great idea though and I want to do it before someone else does, but I think my problem was drawing and coloring the whole thing when I could have easily done it with sprites. But then again, drawing is the whole fun of it. ^-^

Really, I just look at a reference picture (for Richard I pretty much look at his sprites).
I mean I obviously don't copy my references exactly, you know, I kind of have my own little style thrown in. The thing is really to get the major details of a character in there so that a person can recognize them. In my opinion, it's important to do Richard's hair and eyes right. And that "I'm so much better than you" expression he always has. Like he's thinking, "Blast it, I'd rather go back to my estate and eat some of my fabulous caviar than hang around with these n00bs."
Sorry, it's kind of hard for me to explain. You'd have to kind of study the pictures and think about it.

And I updated with another drawing of Richie Wellington. Heh... But you know what I noticed while drawing him? He really resembles (at least in my drawing) Charlie (aka Nash), my favorite character from the Street Fighter Alpha series. I mean they have similar hair styles, and they both wear glasses (looking cute in them, I might add). Also the way I drew his face... kinda... Oh I dunno, it's not a great similarity, but I do see it.

Anyway, I posted the links to a new comic that I just finished, but unfortunately the spoiler content is pretty massive. You'd have to have gone through Case 4 in Phoenix Wright 1 and 2 to not get spoiled.
And yes I know that the event in the comic would never happen, but you have to admit it would be pretty amusing if it did.
I'm thinking about doing another one with Max, but I haven't started anything yet.
EDIT: Also, I love the way the second frame of the comic looks, but Edgeworth in the second to last one looks really... ugh. And I don't feel like redoing it so...

Oh and, this isn't exactly an update, but I was messing around a little while ago and ended up making the little Wellington pic in my sig there, where he looks kinda... weird. I dunno, it started out cute, and I was thinking about writing "ORLY?" to the side of it.
But now he almost looks like he's on something. Like I said though, I was just messing around.
EDIT: Oh no! I colored his eyes blue instead of brown! What was I thinking (and how did I not notice that until now)?!
