I was wondering what people's thoughs are on her returning?

I mean, her and Klavier are both German Prosocutors and roughly the same age. I have this theory that they most likely know each other and I'm starting to think Capcom did this on purpose...I mean, would they really have two characters, unrealated, with the same job and nationality?

anyway, thoughs?

Given that she's made an appearence in Edgeworth's game, surely the prospect of her appearing in GS5 has diminished considerably, right?

Although it is still possible, I guess...

In the Japanese version, Franziska was practicing law in America instead of Germany.
So No, English-only canon doesn't influence future installments.

That's what I thought too, and that he was actually American as well. In the Japanese version his German phrases are supposedly English ones.

I hope we don't see Franny in the Apollo timeline. It made sense for her to appear in Kenji alongside Edgeworth but character development wise she didn't really bring anything new to the table. I can't imagine you'd get anything new out of her by letting her whip Apollo a hundred times.

I think she's better off staying with her brother, in case they make an AAI:2 or something. Apollo needs new characters to play with.

But yes, in the Japanese version both Klavier and Franziska were from America instead of German, so there is a pretty good chance they at least know of each other. I think they only time they deviated from the "America=Germany" rule was with Ema? I think she went to America in the Japanese version, but in the American version went to somewhere in Europe that wasn't Germany.

I’m going to have to agree with Croik, Franzy doesn’t really have a place in the new story arc and probably wouldn’t contribute anything meaningful, plot development wise. Unless they want to write her in, which would feel sort of forced and awkward, she isn’t really connected at all to Apollo. Her role would be limited to fan service and seeing what kind of potentially hilarious reactions certain cast members would have, particularly those who traditionally receive the bulk of her wrath (defense attorneys and detectives). Apollo going up against a real ruthless prosecutor? Ema getting abused like poor ol’ Gumshoe? Ema getting whipped … hmm … then again maybe there is some merit to this … :hotti:

He could be an american speaking german.

Anyway, about :franny: , I think she would proabably be mentioned but not actualy in the game.

You can easily think that they know each other, after all Klavier was a prosecutor at 17. He was young and a kind of prodigy, too!^^

But I agree with you Croik: Apollo needs new characters and maybe old characters of AJ like Lamiroir or Klavier or Vera!

I don't know. I like her character, so I'm hesitant to say that she shouldn't be in AJ2. But Croik is right, there isn't anything new about her. But then again, why does everything have to be new? I wouldn't mind playing slight rehashes if it was still interesting. I think I'm in the minority on this one, though.... :payne:

in my opinion phoenix has n connection to apollo yet he as there. since franziska has an link with phoenix(i call it a link) there is a chance so small you have more chance that comunism ceases to exist and russia getting allong with the USA.

and blackjack: you are not alone.

i think edgeworth may have a change of returning. my theory is that edgeworth is the mentor of klavier. i based this on the fact that klavier studied in germany and the von karma's arefrom germany, and edgeworth was adopted by von karma. i also based it o the way klavier acts towards apollo. he works together with the defence. and i think edgeworth knows to work with the defence(just listen to his speech at the end of JFA)

Its amazing even though Kristoph had a sort of influence on him. I think he knew that phenoix never knew it was forged evidence. He must have been burdened with that thought/possiblity for years. Then when apollo came up it just came out and he said "Bro did it" end quote.

As such the jury voted and someone got another crime added to his list.

Oh yes and franziska has a small chance of coming in apollo. That is unless edgeworth has a good chance. And since phenoix and maya is there i guess he has a ok chance. Still franzzy still has no real matter of being shown. Heard of maybe but shown perhaps not.

It is so hard to read your posts, man. :payne:
Mr.wise wrote:
It amazes me that even though Kristoph was manipulating him, Klavier somehow knew that Phoenix didn't know that the evidence was forged. So then years later when it was revealed that Kristoph was behind its creation, that is why he sided with Apollo so quickly.

And because of that the jury found Kristoph guilty of Drew Misham's murder.

And Franziska has a small chance of appearing in GS5. This will be less so if Edgeworth is featured. But, then again, if Phoenix and Maya appear in GS5 then Edgeworth should, too. So Franziska will probably not appear. She may be mentioned, but that is the extent of the part I expect her to play in the series' next installment.

Fix'd. :keiko:

Being vague can be fun. Unless you're trying to make a point. :grey:

And I'm not sure what speaking German has to do with anything. You don't need to speak another language to be confusing. :pft:

Unless you're ESL there's no excuse for making posts that make so little sense! And this is the GS5 board - you don't have to hide AJ spoilers in here.

Um... I would be REALLY happy if they included Franziska, as that would mean most likely the return of other Phoenix-arc characters.

LOL

Hmm... I gotta disagree. Klavier should make an appearance in a couple cases, perhaps in a similar way to Edgey in GS3. But really, there is no place for Franziska in AJ.

Of course, you'll disagree, because you are an irrational, frothing-at-the-mouth Klavier hater. :keiko:
