@ Chess: Of course. XD

And yes, for movies based off of books, the books are generally way better since they give you a perspective and certain details that just can't be captured on film.

Nothing wrong, huh? Thank you. ^^

@ Aliucon: Yup. Should be. :D

D'aww. Thanks, guys.

Now comes some news. I'll be gone practically all day tomorrow. As such, I doubt I'll be able to update. However, I will try when I get the chance.

Sorry I didn't comment on the last chapters.
Thank God Edgeworth got away, I don't think I could take any more detailed descriptions of Oldbag.
I can't really comment on the Twilight Fic too well because I have never read it or seen the film, but I'm sure it will turn out great in the end.

Huzzah, updates!
In Twilight's case, the book was so much better than the movie, yes. They completely wrecked the order of events. :yuusaku:

Oh, geez. I'm so sorry, dudes. I was gone a long time and now I am extremely tired. I don't think I can update tonight. But I will tomorrow, I promise!

@ mrdean: Yeah. And I couldn't imagine anymore Oldbag...Descriptions. I have to get the picture in my head or I can't write as well...

Really? Never read or seen Twilight? Well, let me tell you...You aren't missing anything at all. I haven't seen the movie myself, but I've read the series. All you need to know is the plot. Don't read the series, though. My parody isn't worth it. :D

@ JasmineJustice: And I heard the acting wasn't very good. My brother saw it, but didn't read the series beforehand.

I always make good on my promises, so...Here's an update.
Spoiler: Twilight The Musical: A Phoenix Wright Production Part 3
The door opened, and Maya and Pearl walked in arm-in-arm. But Phoenix was nowhere to be found.
"Hey, Pearly," Maya said, sensing something was wrong. "Why don't you go draw another one of your great pictures?"
"Um...Master Mystic Maya? Where's Mr. Nick?" Pearl asked.
"Haha. It's a surprise, Pearly. He's probably just finishing up wrapping your present," Maya replied happily. Pearl cast her a skeptical look. She was one year older, and slightly less gullible. When Maya's smile didn't falter, all of Pearl's suspicions faded away.
"Hm...Okay," Pearl said. She grabbed a piece of paper and pencil and began drawing. Maya left Pearl and went straight for the upstairs bedroom. The door was open and Phoenix looked up at her. He was lying on his blue bed, Breaking Dawn laying in front of him. He had just finished reading the series. Maya closed the door behind her as she walked in.
"Maya..." Phoenix began. He looked slightly pale. "I can't go through with this."
"Oh, come on, Nick," Maya protested. "Of course you can."
"No, I can't," Phoenix responded, shaking his head. "I can't be Edward."
"Why not?" Maya asked, still smiling.
"Because...He so obviously loves Bella, yet he won't admit it. And once he does, he gets all possessive of her. And....Well, it...The phrasing just...I can't say that stuff to you!" Phoenix answered. He looked ashamed.
"Nick...You can do it, Nick! This isn't about us. It's about Pearly," Maya argued. "And...You don't have to actually relate to Edward to act his part out. I believe in you, Nick." She knew her argument wouldn't hold up in court. It was too disorganized. So, she went over to Phoenix and kissed him on the cheek. "I believe in you," she repeated in a low whisper. Phoenix blushed deeply.
"Um...You're right. What was I thinking? Heh, heh..." Phoenix responded, putting his hand on the back of his neck.
"Oh, but don't do that on stage, Nick. Edward's supposed to be pale all the time," Maya ordered cheerfully, making Phoenix blush even deeper. They heard a car pull up at the end of the driveway. The first person to contribute to Pearl's special present.

Spoiler: Poems Galore Part 18
"So, where to now, Miley?" Maya asked.
"...I don't know, Maya," Edgeworth answered after hesitating. "It seems we can't do anything until they finish their tests...Nobody else is straggling behind here..." He seemed to be thinking hard. "Perhaps that is exactly the point. I believe you have yet to hear Wright's story."
"Um...Well, yes, I do," Maya responded.
"Then shall we proceed to the detention center? I can't very well have my assistant not know everything I do about the case, can I?" Edgeworth inquired. He bowed before escorting her to the detention center. Phoenix had just gotten back from questioning.
"Edgeworth? What are you doing here?" Phoenix asked.
"Wright...This case is very grim..." Edgeworth replied.
"You're not going to..."
"Of course not, Wright," Edgeworth interrupted. "I would never even think of dropping your case. However, I want you know a little bit of what will be presented at the trial. Apparently, there was a...Your semen was... in the victim, Wright. Not only that, but...The knife had your prints on it. And there was a witness."
"W-w-wait. My s-semen?!" Phoenix inquired, shocked. "But how?"
"Now I think it is necessary for you to tell Maya what happened," Edgeworth said, ignoring Phoenix's question since he didn't know the answer. "For she wishes to know the truth." Phoenix looked at Maya.
"M-Maya...You don't think I did this, do you?"
"Of course not, Nick," Maya answered. "But...I still want to know what happened."
"Okay..." Phoenix said. He relayed the story to Maya. Every little thing he remembered. When he finished, Maya looked shocked. So, Phoenix decided to change the subject. "So...Who am I accused of killing?"
"Hold on, Wright. I have the autopsy report right here...Wait!" Edgeworth responded. "There's no name on here!"
"No name?!" Phoenix repeated, surprised. "But then..."
"I know, Wright. This really limits the case against you, as you can't possibly have a motive..." Edgeworth made a note in the autopsy report.
"Nick...Shelly DeKiller...He...Nick, he...he's nearby. And he...Could have killed you..." Maya said, hesitantly.
"Maya..." Pheonix started.
"I...I will do whatever I can to help you, Nick! You'll get out of this!" Maya declared.
"Wright, we will not give up on you," Edgeworth reinforced.
"Woah. Guys, where's this coming from?" Phoenix asked.
"Nick. Oh, Nick," Maya replied. She felt tears springing to her eyes. This was horrible. Phoenix could have died. He could have died. And he was going to come close again. If he was found guilty...Phoenix was brought to questioning again.
"Maya? Are you okay?" Edgeworth inquired, concerned. Maya immediately put on her fake smile.
"I'm fine, Miley. Let's start investigating again!"

I took your advice and had a look at the plot for twilight so I should have an idea of what's going on now.

I'm not sure if I want to know how Nick's semen got in the victim tbh.

Great update again.

Thank you.
Spoiler: Poems Galore Part 19
Edgeworth could tell Maya was lying. Her smile was fake, but it was still convincing. The only way he could discern that it was a lie was by staring into her troubled eyes. It became obvious to Edgeworth right then that Maya had been using her optimism as a mask. Probably for a very long time.
"I...Understand," Edgeworth said. "It's late, Maya. Tomorrow's going to be a long day for the both of us. ...I'll take you wherever you want to go."
"Thanks, Miley. I want to go to Wright and Co," Maya responded. "Someone has to look after Charlie." Edgeworth raised an eyebrow. "The potted plant."
"Well, if that is what you desire," Edgeworth stated, opening the car door for her and bowing.
"Aw, you're so kind, Miley," Maya said. Edgeworth blushed, and was grateful his head was already bowed down. Maya got in and Edgeworth drove her to Wright and Co. Law Offices.
"...This is farewell until tomorrow," Edgeworth stated. "So long, Maya." Maya looked at Edgeworth. He seemed so...Collected, but Maya could tell he wanted to say more. As he turned to walk away, Maya decided to take a chance.
"Wait. Don't go yet, Miley. Would you like to come in?"
"Erm...No. I have to get up early tomorrow. Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise," Edgeworth recited in response. As he walked to the car, he felt...Tremors. Everything around him was shaking. An earthquake! Edgeworth curled up into a ball and shivered, a terrible habit he had. He felt someone drag him away, and he couldn't protest.

Spoiler: Twilight The Musical: A Phoenix Wright Production Part 4
Phoenix and Maya rushed downstairs, Maya beating Phoenix to the door since the attorney wasn't exactly fit. She opened the door to see Edgeworth standing there.
“Edgeworth! Punctual as always,” Phoenix said between gasps for air.
“Wright, what’s going on here? I was under the impression you needed me for something important,” Edgeworth asked. He half-expected to see a dead body.
“He does need you for something important, Edgeworth. Let’s go upstairs,” Maya replied.
“Let’s not and say we did,” Phoenix interjected, still panting. “I just came down here, and…”
“Aw, come on, Nick! This is for Pearly!” Maya shouted, grabbing Phoenix and dragging him back up the stairs. Edgeworth shook his head and followed them.
“I’ll ask again: why did you call me here?” Edgeworth inquired. Maya closed the door.
“Um…Edgeworth, Pearls’ birthday is today, and…” Phoenix began to answer.
“And you want me to provide a gift that you can’t afford?” Edgeworth interrupted. That was usually the case.
“No. Edgeworth…I want you to help us give her the best gift, and it won’t involve spending any of your money,” Phoenix answered. “We need you to be a part of the greatest performance we can give little Pearls.”
“A performance, Wright? Of what?”
“Twilight: The musical,” Phoenix responded.
“…Twilight. The series by Stephanie Meyer with the vampires and the characters with only one or two flaws?”
“Yeah. That’s the one,” Maya answered enthusiastically from behind Edgeworth. “And Pearl loves that series.”
“Well…I’ll do whatever you want for Pearl, but first you must know that I am a terrible actor. I get…Stage fright.” He looked down, ashamed.
“Don’t worry, Edgeworth. The only person watching this will be Pearls. You’ll be fine,” Phoenix said encouragingly. Then, there was yet another knock at the door and Maya ran downstairs to answer it.
“Wright…Are you sure you don’t want to buy her some jewelry or something?” Edgeworth asked.
“Trust me, Edgeworth. She’ll enjoy this much more than she would jewelry,” Phoenix replied. At least, according to Maya...

Now, I don't have an update, but I figured it's the 4th of July, so...

Spoiler: Short: Independence Day Part 1
"Whatcha doin', Nick?" Maya asked, trying to peek over Phoenix's shoulder.
"I'm sending an e-mail to everyone I know," Phoenix replied. "What is your best Independence Day memory?" He hit the "send" button.
"My best memory? It was...Back when Mia and I were little. Mom took us to the city for a while. We got ice cream and watched the fireworks. It was so pretty," Maya recalled. "What about you, Nick?"
"Me? It was back when Dahlia...When Iris and I were dating. We went to a lake and saw all the fireworks go off. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen," Phoenix replied. He put his hand behind his head and blushed.

Ema Skye looked at her inbox. One was from a certain mr.wright@earhlink.net. She read the e-mail: "What is your best Independence Day memory?" Ema sighed.
"It was a year after that case...Damon Gant was arrested, and Lana was back to her normal self. I made my own fireworks! Some of them didn't work, and others exploded too soon, but still..." she typed, hitting the "send" button when she was done. Then, a burst of inspiration. She could recreate that. Ema rushed to visit Lana, and hopefully forge a new memory.

Edgeworth looked at the e-mail from mrwright@earthlink.net. It was a ridiculous question...Or was it?
"It was...Before Dad died. You, Larry, and I were at my house, in the lawn. We saw fireworks from miles away. Do you remember that, Wright?" Edgeworth typed with difficulty. Someone knocked on the door and let themselves into his office.
"Mr. Edgeworth, Sir," Gumshoe's familiar voice said. "It's late. You'll miss all the fireworks."
"My work is far more important than any lights in the sky, Detective," Edgeworth responded. "...You may leave if you wish, though."
"R-really? Thank you, Sir." Gumshoe left the office, and Edgeworth became inspired. It was time to visit a certain other prosecutor.

"Where's the response from Iris?" Maya asked.
"She...Doesn't have a computer..." Phoenix replied hesitantly.
"Oh, that's too bad, Nick. I really wanted to know what her best memory was," Maya said. She sighed. Was she...Jealous? When Phoenix thought about it, she did seem a little upset when the best memory he had was when he was dating Iris. He turned to Maya, and felt like he had to do something. He gently grabbed her hand.
"Come on, Maya," he ordered, pulling her somewhere into the darkness...

Urk...I divided it into two parts, but it's long still. Perhaps the Independence Day doesn't count as a short. Oh, next part tomorrow, along with updates.

EDIT: You already know this, but don't click on the links. I didn't know that e-mail address actually existed. O_O

D'oh! I'm leaving tomorrow. This'll be the last update for a couple days. :(

@ xNoLemonHereX: Thank you. Glad you liked it.

@ GDM: D'aaaw. Thanks. *Blushes yet again*

Spoiler: Short: Independence Day Part 2
"Maggey. Look. An e-mail," Gumshoe said. He clicked on it and read.
"My best memory was back when I was first starting as a detective. Mr. Edgeworth and I worked a few cases together, and he was going to work right through Independence Day like he would any other day. I couldn't let him do that, so I dragged him outside and we saw the fireworks. Er...Couldn't really see 'em over the buildings, but still…” Gumshoe typed as a reply. He sent it to Phoenix’s e-mail address.
“Wow. That’s your best memory, Detective Gumshoe?” Maggey asked.
“Yeah, pal. It made me feel good to let Mr. Edgeworth celebrate with me,” Gumshoe replied.
“…Let’s go, Dick,” Maggey ordered, dragging Gumshoe out of the chair and heading for the door.
“Woah! Where are we going, pal?”
“To let you see the fireworks,” Maggey replied.

“Miles Edgeworth? What are you doing here?” Franziska asked. The magenta clad prosecutor entered her office and bowed respectfully when she questioned him.
“Franziska…I have something to ask you,” Edgeworth replied. Franziska raised her whip.
“What is it, Miles Edgeworth?” she inquired.
“…What is your best Independence Day memory?” Edgeworth responded. Franziska glared at him. It was a foolishly foolish question.
“My best memory, Miles Edgeworth, was when I first became a prosecutor. I had a perfect case, and put a foolishly foolish fool behind bars that day. Why would you ask such a ridiculous question?”
“Ah. I see.” Edgewoth bowed. “Would you do me the honor of joining me?”
“Ha! I have a perfect case to prepare. I have no time for foolish holidays,” Franziska answered. Edgeworth shuddered a little, recalling when there was a time he would have paraphrased the same thing.
“Please come with me, Franziska. As a personal favor,” Edgeworth said.
“Are you…Begging me to come, Miles Edgeworth?” Franziska questioned.
“…Indeed, I am.”
“Then I shall join you. But only because you’re my brother.” Edgeworth was relieved, but he didn’t show it as he opened the door for Franziska.

“Ema?” Lana inquired to the girl in front of her.
“Um…Hello, Lana. I came here to celebrate with you,” Ema responded.
“But…I’m Chief Prosecutor, still. I have cases to overlook,” Lana said hesitantly. Ema had expected she’d say that.
“Scientifically speaking, you can leave that work for tomorrow,” Ema pointed out. Lana wanted to say she couldn’t, but she saw her sister’s eager face, and couldn’t refuse.
“Okay, then. Let’s go, Ema,” Lana demanded, locking arms with Ema and leaving the building.

Kids today and their computers, Oldbag thought as she looked at the e-mail from the spiky haired whippersnapper. She swooned as she recalled with perfect clarity the best Independence Day she had experienced. She was staring out the window, daydreaming of Edgeworth. Then, she saw a firework light up the sky, a heart over Edgeworth’s office. It had to have been from him. She had a crazy idea, and ran from her house as fast as her feet could carry her.

“Howdy, y’all. This is a great Fourth of July here at Gourd Lake,” Lotta said into a camera.
“Look, Maya,” Phoenix requested. Maya looked around. Edgeworth, Franziska, Ema, Lana, Maggey, Gumshoe, and Oldbag were all there, staring at the fireworks. They were so beautiful.
“Nick, this is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” Maya said excitedly. Without thinking, she hugged Phoenix, who hugged her back.
“This is a great place for romance,” Lotta continued, pointing the video camera at Phoenix and Maya.

“Why did you bring me here, Miles Edgeworth?” Franziska asked, looking up to the sky. “These are all imperfect!”
“Maybe the fireworks’ imperfection is what makes it so beautiful,” Edgeworth replied.
“Perhaps,” Franziska said, crossing her arms. Edgeworth smiled.

“Wow. I haven’t seen anything this beautiful in years. Ho ho ho,” Gumshoe commented. He grabbed Maggey’s hand and they turned to each other, stars in their eyes. Maggey looked down and saw a quarter. She picked it up and smiled.

Ema explained the science of everything that was going on, and Lana smiled. Just like old times.

It was a wonder that all those people were staring at the same fireworks, but they were all thinking about different things.

“What is your best Independence Day memory?”

“It was earlier this year…” Phoenix began.

“Franziska realized not everything needs to be perfect,” Edgeworth replied.

“My brother finally shared some of his wisdom with me. He treated me like I was family,” Franziska said.
“If you tell anyone I said that, you will feel the fury of my whip.”

“I got to spend time with Maggey,” Gumshoe responded.

“I finally had some good luck!” Maggey shouted.

“I got to see the glee in my sister’s eyes,” Lana answered.

“Lana and I got to celebrate together like in the old days,” Ema replied.

“Edgey-poo looked happy, and I know it was because he saw me,” Oldbag responded.

“I got to see Master Mystic Maya and Mr. Nick on TV,” Pearl said.

“I was able to spend time with my half-sister, Pearl,” Iris answered.

“I got a job thanks to the report on Gourd Lake’s Independence Day celebration,” Lotta replied.

“Maya and I celebrated without any consequences. I got to see her smile genuinely,” Phoenix concluded.

“Nick and I shared something special,” Maya said. “And it is something neither of us will soon forget.”

Lida_Rose walked away. Her work was done.

I prefer posting everything I need to write in one post, but I don't think I can do that this time. I'll try to update my other stories before tomorrow, but I don't know if that would be possible...

Aww.. That was so cute! A lovely Independence Day short by a lovely Independence-Day-short writter!

Unlike to most people, the ecomony has been nice to the people over at Ratings Inc. Due to budget-expansions, the number of possible points has been doubled. Now, instead of a possible 10 badges, you can score up to 20! Lets see how you did.....

24/20 Badges for the short! You're really stretching RI's dollar, ain't ya?

Thanks, everyone. I'm back now...But have writers' block. >< I'll be sure to update tomorrow. The key is getting started.

@ GDM: Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed my short. 24/20 badges? Wow. I'm flattered. :D And I did enjoy my mini-vacation, but I was still eager to get back here the whole time and bask in everyone's awesomeness. ^^

@ JasmineJustice: D'awwww, thanks. And I can't wait to see where the Twilight one is going, either. xD

@ Chess: Don't worry about it. You just inspired a short!
Spoiler: Short Chess Inspired.
"Nick? Why do you look horrified all the time?" Maya whispered in Phoenix's ear.
Picture Oldbag in a mini-skirt. Picture Oldbag in a mini-skirt, Phoenix thought.
"Um...I look horrified? I haven't noticed," Phoenix lied as he walked away. Maya shrugged and followed him.
Trust me, there will be moar case stuff as soon as I get over my writers' block and update. ^^ And I'm glad you loved the new story. Thank you. ;)

@ mrdean: Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed them. And yes, it is amazing, isn't it? :)

I was going to update this several days ago, but with my C-R wedding and roleplays and getting dragged away from the computer before I could make any progress, I…Well, I’m updating now.

Thank you, supportsandships. :D

Spoiler: Twilight The Musical: A Phoenix Wright Production Part 5
“F-Franziska Von Karma?!” Maya asked, shocked.
“Hello, Maya Fey,” Franziska replied. “I was told that you required some perfection, so here I am.”
“R-right this way, Franziska,” Maya said. She ran up the stairs, Franziska not far behind.
“Ah, Franziska,” Edgeworth greeted. “Punctual as always.”
“Of course I am, Miles Edgeworth. A VonKarma is perfect in every way,” Franziska responded. “So, what did you bring me here for?”
“Um…Franziska, we’re putting on Twilight, the Musical for Pearls…As a birthday present,” Phoenix said. “And…We need you to be Rosalie.”
“Twilight, the Musical? That foolishly foolish thing does not exist, Phoenix Wright,” Franziska brought up.
“That’s exactly the point,” Phoenix stated. “If it did, Pearls would already have it.”
“Hmph. Very well, Phoenix Wright. I will be Rosalie, and I will play her part perfectly! You’ll see,” Franziska responded.
“Um…Franziska, you know Rosalie has to wear a low-cut red dress, right?” Phoenix asked.
“…I accept your challenge, Phoenix Wright,” Franziska answered. “You must know a VonKarma is perfect in every way. My body is absolutely perfect. Just like me. Surely you agree I would look good in anything, right, Phoenix Wright?”
“Uh…” Phoenix said, staring at the whip. “Of…Of course. Heh.” He glanced at Maya and blushed. “Not as good as Maya, but still…” Phoenix flinched, expecting to get whipped again.
“Not as good as Maya Fey? Please…” Franziska asked ominously, raising her whip. “Oh, I see. You did not mean that, did you, Phoenix Wright? You truly are a foolishly foolish and naughty man.”
“W-what?!” Franziska whipped him.
“Quit being such a foolish fool and admit your feelings for her, Phoenix Wright!” Franziska shouted, whipping Phoenix even harder.
“Ow! Ow! What are you-OW!- talking about?!” Phoenix inquired.
“Please refrain from whipping him, Franziska,” Edgeworth requested. Franziska glared at him. “He’s just waiting until the timing is absolutely perfect.” Franziska’s eyes softened and she lowered her whip.
“And this place is far from perfect,” Franziska concluded. Phoenix shot Edgeworth a questioning look. Edgeworth met his gaze, a wise look in his eyes.

Spoiler: Poems Galore Part 20
“Stop fighting!” Edgeworth shouted, throwing a gun.
Bang!
The shot pierced his mind. Engraved in his head.
A scream. A blood-curdling scream. It haunted his dreams.
Even though he knew what really happened, it still haunted his memory. He could not get past his father’s death.

“Are you okay, Miley?” Maya asked. Edgeworth opened his eyes. He was on the couch in Wright and Co. Offices. Maya was standing over him with a cold cloth.
“I’m fine,” Edgeworth responded, sitting up. “Just…”
“It has to do with your father’s death, doesn’t it?” Maya inquired wisely.
“…Yeah…Nobody’s supposed to see me like that,” Edgeworth replied. “I apologize for being so weak and pathetic.”
“Miles…” Maya hesitated. She never used his first name before. Edgeworth stared at her. Maya wasn’t smiling like she usually did. “How you react to earthquakes is not weak. I lost a parent, too, remember? Ever since, I have been afraid of blades. I get nervous around a butter knife.” She chuckled. “That doesn’t make you or me weak.” Maya smiled sagely.
“Maya…”
“I guess we’re not so different, right, Miley?” she interrupted.
“Uh…I guess so…” Edgeworth answered. That’s right. Maya lost her mother only a few months ago. There was a knock at the door. Maya got up and answered it.
“Detective Gumshoe?” Maya asked, not hiding her surprise.
“Yeah, pal. I have some test results to give you,” he responded. Then, he saw Edgeworth on the couch. “But if I came at a bad time…”
“There is never a bad time for test results,” Edgeworth interrupted, getting off the couch as Maya let Gumshoe in. “What is it?”
“Well…I ran here as fast as I could…There are two things, pal. One, Mr. Wright’s fingerprints were on the blade of the knife. Two, his blood was also found on the knife and on the floor. It looks like he’s innocent after all, pal,” Gumshoe replied. Edgeworth made note of the new information.
“What are you doing here, Scruffy?” an ominous voice asked.

Haha. Sorry if these seem a little rushed. I wanted to get them done quickly so I wouldn't miss too much...

Thanks, Chess.

I've been working on an update, but progress is slow because I have to read back through the Twilight Series so as to give every character from Twilight a PW character to act them out. And I have my CR Wedding to worry about. ^^

Just want you all to know that. *Disappears*

This line is made of so much win. ^^ Especially coming from Franziska. :no-no:

lol naughty Phoenix.

Looks like even Franziska's read Twilight. *sigh* It is a pandemic. >_> Don't get me wrong, the books series was well-written,*can't say as much for the movie* but still. T-shirts? If they should make t-shirts for anything, it should be Ace Attorney. Now THAT would be awesome. *wants two-dozen of them* T_T

I'll really have to get around to reading Poems Galore one of these days. I think I'm pretty much over my fear of poetry. :yuusaku:

I hope no one minds if I only do one update here for my Poems Galore. I'll update the Twilight one later. I promise!

@ Capybara: Ha! In the CR world, the statute of limitations wore out as soon as I updated the story and rendered the short void. xD

@ GDM: Thank you. :D And yeah, I'd buy a Phoenix Wright t-shirt any day. ^^

@ FlameInferno: Thanks. I shall keep it up.

@ JasmineJustice: And that's why we love her.

Spoiler: Poems Galore Part 21
"F-Franziska VonKarma!" Gumshoe shouted, getting whipped for being foolish. "Ow! I'm here to tell Mr. Edgeworth about the evidence..."
"That is inconclusive?" she finished. "Miles Edgeworth, what Scruffy told you is not true. Phoenix Wright is guilty, and no test results disprove that."
"But I have the results right here," Gumshoe argued, pulling out the paperwork. In one swift motion, Franziska whipped the papers in half and whipped Gumshoe, who whimpered in response. Edgeworth "tsk"ed her.
"Covering up evidence so as to make the case perfect, are we?" he asked.
"No, Miles Edgeworth. Those results are void. I had all the evidence retested. There was no fingerprints on the blade of the knife and none of Phoenix Wright's blood was on the floor," Franziska replied.
"How many people in forensics did you have to whip to get the new results?" Edgeworth inquired. Franziska glared at him.
"Phoenix Wright is guilty, Miles Edgeworth," she answered. "And you are a fool for defending him."
"Not a fool. A friend," Edgeworth corrected.
"How could you, Franziska?" Maya piped up. Franziska looked at her. "How could you think Nick is guilty? We all know he'd never do anything like that...And you had the test results right in front of your eyes." Maya looked at her with tears in her eyes, and Franziska was taken aback.
"You...Your foolish friend...He's just foolish enough to..." she spluttered.
"Maya...Lay off, okay?" Edgeworth asked. "Franziska has to believe he's guilty so as to justify her actions."
"Nothing needs to be justified, Miles Edgeworth!" Franziska shouted. She then wheeled around and whipped Gumshoe.
"Ow! What did I do, Sir? Ow!" Gumshoe said in response to the whipping.
"You didn't leave fast enough," Franziska explained. "Let's go, Scruffy." Gumshoe cast one last downcast look in Edgeworth's direction before walking away.
"Good riddance," Maya said, shutting the door.
"Maya..." Edgeworth began.
"People like that infuriate me! She knows the truth, but she..." Maya interrupted angrily. "...Sorry, Miley. She's your sister. I shouldn't talk about her like that."
"It's okay, Maya. You're entitled to your emotions," Edgeworth responded. "But every case needs a prosecutor. And it's better her than someone none of us know. At least we know her style."

No, I love Franziska because she's just like me. XD Perfectionist, violent, logical-well, most of the time...
You win an awesome scarf for this update. *hands a scarf that's similiar to the one I'm wearing* Indeed, Franziska may not believe Phoenix did it, but she's still trapped by the shackles of duty...

Well, I haven't been able to do reading of your story recently. So I'll go with the most recently completed series: Independence Day.

I personally thought it was cute. Not only did I sit there chanting, "USA! USA! USA!" (don't ask. It's a fad at my church's youth group. We're really partriotic.) but it's nice to have the characters celebrating a holiday.

I haven't been around to read this, so sorry! But now I read what I missed. You're great as always. I loved the Independence Day one for its ending (even though I never celebrated it, I'm not American). Yay, you managed to make the PW characters have the happiest Independence Day memories ever, even Franziska somehow. xD

Poems Gallore is also going well... I can only think that Phoenix's semen is on the victim due to bogus test results, probably provided by DeKiller. Or something, well, keep up the good work! ^^

Hope you can overcome the writer's block and provide us with more of your lovely stories... :kissy:

@ IlovephoenixwrightXD: Yay...Er...How am I supposed to eat the kitty moose cookie? O_O Anyway, thank you, and I should hope you comment more often now that we're family. xD

@ JasmineJustice: *Wears awesome scarf* I feel its awesomeness rubbing off on me already. ^^ Yeah. Poor Franzy.

@ eliasbloodmoon: I'm glad you liked it. Thank you. Heck, if I'm still writing for any other holidays, I might make shorts of the PW characters celebrating them as well. :D

@ Aliucon: Thank you, Dear.

I still have writer's block. And I can usually get over it really quick, but for some reason this time my usual methods of working through it just aren't working. But that doesn't mean I can't write a short! Or two. Or ten. And, since college is starting relatively soon for me, yay, um...I guess I might as well make a short about it. Not. xD
Spoiler: Short: High School Reunion Part 1
"Whatcha thinking about, Nick?" Maya asked to the lost-in-thought Phoenix, who had ignored her the other five times that past minute. He was staring at something he got in the mail.
"I got an invitation...To my high school reunion," Phoenix replied. "I don't know whether I should go. I mean, Larry was my only friend in those days...Everyone else was a little mean." He turned away from the invitation and looked Maya in the eye. "Besides, I'd much rather stay here and..."
"Clean the toilet?" Maya interrupted. "...I never got to go to high school myself, Nick. I was too busy focusing on being a spirit medium after Mom left...And then Mia went away as well..." She looked down sadly.
"What?! But...But you certainly seem as smart as, no, smarter than most high school students," Phoenix interjected. Maya smiled.
"I was home schooled," she said. "But it's really different in an actual high school, isn't it? You should go to that reunion, Nick."
"B-but, everyone else there besides Larry will have a wife or something. I'll look like I'm some kind of loser if I don't-" Phoenix began.
"I'll pretend to be your girlfriend or fiance or whatever. I always wondered what high school reunions were like," Maya interrupted excitedly. Phoenix smiled.
"Well, if you're sure...We'd better get going." He grabbed Maya and they walked to the bus stop.
"Nick, shouldn't you get a car? You know...At least pretend you can drive?" Maya inquired as they sat down.
"First, I don't have enough money to buy a car. Secondly, I don't have a license," Phoenix answered.
"I know Nick, but still..." Maya said. "And I probably should have changed into something fancier. I mean, what am I thinking? These clothes are a little plain for this sort of event, aren't they?"
"Relax, Maya. You look beautiful," Phoenix responded. "Haha! It's my reunion, and you're the one who's nervous." He didn't know why that was so funny, but he didn't stop laughing until the bus stopped at the high school.
