"Oh, thank goodness you're okay," Lida responded. She turned to Perry to see her cat hair covered wedding dress. "It's okay...We still have time. Perry, please get me the emergency lint brush, okay?" She took the dress from her sister and picked the phone back up.
"I have everything I need," Salie said. Lida sighed with relief.
"Good. I gotta go now. Have a little dress emergency I have to tend to." She hung up the phone.

Marisa had been on a little vacation not to long ago, only just arriving back home today. Once she got home, she noticed immediately that there was a piece of paper wedged into the door.
Wedding invitation....? What? Maybe the papers where sent to the wrong address. She hadn't been invited to a wedding in what seemed like forever, and she couldn't think of any reasons for her to suddenly get invited like that. She checked the back, noting it was indeed addressed to her.
Not taking the suspense any longer, she quickly ripped the top of the envelope open, and scanned through the words written on it. "Lida....and....Aliucon?" It took a while for her to process this information.
"Well, well, well....So thats what went on while I'm away." Marisa did not know how to feel at the moment. The invite was such a short notice, and she probably had little time to prepare.
On the other hand, they have been very dear friends to her since they first met. Especially Aliucon.
She would feel very bad if she wasn't included as a part of their special day, and she didn't want to let them down like that. What am I thinking, though? They will enjoy it regardless, I'm sure.
Trying to shake herself away from her thoughts, she silently went towards her closet. She opened the door and looked inside, flipping through the different articles of clothing. After a few minutes, she let out a long sigh.
"Oh...come on, don't I have a good dress in here?"
after another few minutes, she finally found a dress that was deemed wearable enough to her, that went well enough with the peridot necklace already placed around her neck. She tried the clothing choice on, and passed by herself in the mirror as she made her way to the door, and smiled.
"Well...looks like I'm going." She then made her way to the church.

He changed from his lime-green mid-day pajamas into the most formal thing he could find in his closet. He then ran out the door, stole a piece of steak from a BBQ and arrived at the Sydney Airport.
When he finally got on the plane, he realised that he forgot a gift and that he would have to buy something from somebody on the plane...

I should probably get changed too. Scooting off to a free room, Arkillian spent 5 minutes getting changed, then the next half hour putting on industrial strength make up so it wouldn't run when she cried during the ceremony. Her first daughter to marry!!

He closed the door behind him and looked at the guests, most were silent while they waited. Aliucon took a few steps forward, knowing he should as well greet the people there, thank them for coming, or something to that effect, and the nearest person happened to be...
"M-Marisa!! You're here!", he said, trying not to say that out to loud so to not get the attention of even the most farther away people. Happiness overcame him when he saw one of his closest friends (and one he didn't expect to attend the ceremony because she had been traveling) there. He hugged her tightly, not even minding if it would leave one or two wrinkles on his tux. "How have you been!? I missed you. You've been out for quite long... or at least I'm quite under that impression."

"Ahh, Aliucon! I didn't expect to see you here so soon. I figured I would get lost before then." She laughed a bit. Truth be told, she didn't do well with large crowds, either.
"I had just arrived back from the trip, actually, when I saw the invitation Lida had given out. So I thought "Why not?', threw some last minute stuff on and came here." If possible, her smile grew even larger. "I'm glad I did...I wouldn't want to miss out on my friends special day." Once she finished with her explanation, she took the opportunity she didn't have before to really look at Aliucon, who currently wore a tux, and neatly combed hair.
"...Nice tux. I don't think I've ever seen you look so...um...formal." Its kind of- She mentally scolded herself before she could continue her thoughts. wait, now is not the time to think like that, Marisa.

Then, shortly after the hug, he turned his head back to Marisa. He gave her a timid smile when remembered the last thing she said about the tuxedo. "Well, yeah... I-I wouldn't use such formal clothes on a regular basis. I never got to use these much..." Then he lowered his head a little to look at her dress as well, his attention being particularly drawn to the pendant she was wearing. He beamed. "Oh, you're using that! You look lovely, Mar. And not just because of the pendant, I assure you." He laughed. "Anyway... Marisa, I had a...I mean, I wanted you to do me a favor... I mean, you don't need to comply if you don't want to... but I wanted to ask you nonetheless." He felt himself blush upon the embarassment of not being able to articulate well his idea into one sentence.

He then realised how stupid he was when he jumped of because he would die. But when he landed, he was fine. It seems he landed on one of the bridesmaids. Lind_L_Tailor to be exact, while he nervously walked towards the chapel...

"O-Oh? Well...this whole thing was sudden for me, yet I'm still here right now, aren't I?" She then let his words sink into her head a bit more, going over all the possibilities, before responding.
"Aliucon...i-if you really trust me enough with such responsibilities, I'll be happy to try...." No matter what, she couldn't seem to smile, though. She decided it was best to voice her concern.
"....I've never really done that before, though....w-what if I mess up somehow?"
