Howl barely flinched and growled. "Watch it, bub!" He brushed his suit and continued walking. He commented to James and Katrina, "Damn... There's somebody new here everyday." He hated the thought of interns and new prosecutors shrouding around the main office. A year ago it was only him, Rose, and Sheila. I guess they're taking any clutz that waltzes in now... Howl questioned James. "But what good would a record of the case do? It doesn't explain the surrounding area, or circumstances besides a 'guilty' verdict..."

well its pretty simple...for one she was targeted if we dont assume this was a random attack then there might be ties to the case that gave whoever shot her a reason...simply put although its a slight possibility there might be somthing there...better to have known beforehand then later when it might possibly be relevent...and also, do we have the bullet shot at her?

Since the date is 2020, that's a year after the final T&T case, after Phoenix lost his badge and before AJ began. Godot was convicted, Winston, well... just doesn't strike me as a prosecutor, Edgeworth has his own office (d*nm priss...), Franzy left the country, and Manfred is long gone.... thus in my mind for the sake of this RP, leaving it with just me, Rose, and Sheila. ]

Howl shook his head. "No, from what it looks like it just skimmed her, so the bullet is still in play. We also need to get a glimpse of the wound once we get back to determine the projected angle it came from as she walked out. I say we do a quick topography sketch of the surrounding area of the court house, then plant all of the pieces of evidence together. And while we are there, grab a copy of the records of her case; at least get the names of who was involved in the case to get an idea of who we may deal with."

"I could get an official transcript of the case and everything," Sheila commented. "I'll do whatever I can to help." She then turned to Blade, who ran into the door. Sighing, she went over to him, beckoning Simon to follow her.
"Are you alright?" she asked. But he disappeared behind the doorway. She sighed and followed him. All these new people...They, of course, come at the worst time possible.
"Smiles Uzzworth?" she asked in delight. "You mean Mr. Miles Edgeworth, I take it. And I don't think he wants to see anyone right now. Would you mind coming with us? We could use some help investigating a crime scene."

So I slipped on a detail. Im banking that since Howl despises new prosecutors, that he never really noticed Klavier, and as far as Makoto goes, GK hasn't happened where I lived, so I haven't really put him in my time line. And for the unnamed prosecutors... well... :lana:

They all died in a horrible refrigerator accident.]

((assuming we are one of the floors 10-12 stated near the beginning)) Howl took the stairs, not really looking to see if the others were following. He walked out onto the main floor, waiting for the others. He was still hung on all the new arrivers. "Tch... why the hell now when we are on a case at hand... with a loose attacker dropping prosecutors nonetheless..."

Rose stepped out of her own room just as they were leaving. "Sorry I took so long. The chief made me fix all the files first before I could leave. Don't worry though, I heard everything, so I'm coming with all of you." Then she looked at Sheila, saying, "Just make sure that the bullet is compelling proof that you're a murderer," trying to crack up a joke about Manfred's arrest. "But, seriously, you have to get that bullet, and your shoulder examined, so we at least know your condition, and can examine the bullet marks easily.

((Apologies for the double post, I saw an ample thing to say for my joining-in.))

Miles checked through the file in his hands one final time before placing it neatly on his desk with a sigh. He ran a hand through his bangs and stood with a stretch, turning to look out of his large window. Straightening his steel samurai figurine, Miles placed his hands on the sill and gazed out at the city absently for a while before turning, scooping up the file as he walked past his desk with the intention of giving it to his secretary in the lobby.

Closing the office door behind him, Miles' face settled into a practiced frown as he saw a large group of his prosecutors standing, appearing to be having a pleasant chat.

"I'm sorry," he said dryly, "I wasn't aware there was a conference arranged for the corridor outside my office."

She then turned to Edgeworth. "I apologize, Mr. Edgeworth. This little meeting is my fault. We're about to investigate a drive-by shooting. See, someone was shot right outside the courthouse. Would you like to join us?"

"Oh, and I will accompany you only if Ms. Skye is in the building. It would seem that otherwise, the building would be quite empty," Miles commented scathingly.

Katrina nodded, she didn't want to look bad, should her car stall again, the worst part was, it as a fairly recent model, only 2018, she had to get it into the shop soon. "Ok... thanks sir!" she took his other helment, and put it on, after which she tenatively climbed onto the bike and sat behind Howl.

Howl built a daring grin. "Hold on!" Howl squeeled his tires, pulling into a wheelie racing out of the prosecutors garage leaving tire marks. He landed the front tire down and raced for the court-house, pushing 70MPH. He knew he was 20 over the limit, but he was having fun for once. The 20 minute trip took 5 minutes. He skidded sideways into a parking spot, perfectly stopping in the middle of the slot. He clicked the key off, and took ofF his helmet revealing hair that looked like a snowstorm of white helmet hair. Howl laughed and turned behind him. "You still on, Rookie?"
