Also, you shouldn't directly link to DA, I've heard. And you should give a source too.

Here's a few more videos...
"Dahlia's cake is a lie." This video is Dahlia singing 'still alive' from Portal by GLaDOS. This was added about a week ago, it's quite a good job (don't look at the older version, it's awful).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKIm0Er8nTc

"Phoenix Wright: Trials and Abridgulations" This is the abridged version of PW, bear in mind that the following two videos contain adult themes and course language, but are hilarious. Plus, Dahlia's voice is the best version I've heard.
Turnabout Memories http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYQYkGeyQ5I&feature=PlayList&p=43E37EEA054C898D&index=14
Turnabout Beginning http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZt648s4StU&feature=PlayList&p=43E37EEA054C898D&index=17
Dahlia is also in the finale, but it isn't as funny.

I wish Mia's voice wasn't so awful and impossible to understand. Also, "Mai."

But yes, Dahlia's voice was love.

Oh god that 2nd one was hillarious XD. And that was a perfect voice for Dollie.

I think i found another song for her:
Master of Puppets - Metallica

Spoiler: lyrics (parts that match in bold)
End of passion play, crumbling away
Im your source of self-destruction
Veins that pump with fear, sucking darkest clear
Leading on your deaths construction

[chorus:]
Taste me you will see
More is all you need
Youre dedicated to
How Im killing you

Come crawling faster
Obey your master
Your life burns faster
Obey your master
Master

Master of puppets Im pulling your strings
Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams
Blinded by me, you cant see a thing
Just call my name, `cause Ill hear you scream
Master
Master
Just call my name, `cause Ill hear you scream
Master
Master
[end chorus]

Needlework the way, never you betray
Life of death becoming clearer
Pain monopoly, ritual misery
Chop your breakfast on a mirror

[chorus]

Master, master, wheres the dreams that Ive been after?
Master, master, you promised only lies
Laughter, laughter, all I hear and see is laughter
Laughter, laughter, laughing at my cries

Hell is worth all that, natural habitat
Just a rhyme without a reason
Neverending maze, drift on numbered days
Now your life is out of season

Dahlia is truly a character you LOVE to HATE. She's one of the greatest villains ever because you HAVE to hate her for what she did.

She succesfully killed 3 people (not counting Elise, since she technically didn't kill her)
Oh, did I mention she almost killed 2 of the main characters? Yeah...

She's EVVIILLL :chinami:

In a way, she still killed Diego Armando, or his spirit anyway...he was never quite the same man when he donned the mask, after all!

I know, she is awesome! She's my favourite character EVER. Full stop.
I also love her because she is completely sane. Lots of villains are insane, which is quite annoying, but I'm so glad she isn't. (Proof: Her ghost doesn't have a brain... and she's just as evil.)

Well, some people argue that it's the soul that maintains personality - methinks the 'spirit of Dahlia' is more or less a representation of that idea. :D

Doesn't Fawles's death technically count as a suicide? I don't remember Dahlia physically putting the poison in his coffee.

No, he drank the vial she gave him, the coffee had nothing to do with it, he just drank the coffee after he poisoned himself, right? He didn't know he was committing suicide, Dahlia kind of tricked him into doing it.

Dahlia really knows how to crush someone.

"You're my boyfriend whom I will love till the end of time."

Later...

"You're a snivelling dork and I never even liked you. Go die in a hole."

That wasn't the impression it gave me...I got the idea he was told to do it (No doubt she told him she would too) if anything like this happened...

I din't get the idea he didn't understand from his last speech - in fact, I'd say he knew all too well what he was about to do.

This always mystified me. "If we can't trust each other anymore, we drink the contents of the bottle". It seemed that Terry knew it was poison. But I still say that's a stupid promise! It's hardly a good enough reason to kill yourself! He took it from under the tree (I think it was near Hazakura Temple?) as a memento of Dahlia, right? He then used it to kill himself, and stated that the reason for his drinking the poison was because of that promise. So the mystery is why he made that promise! I bet there's more to this than meets the eye... Oh wait. No there isn't. Here's the quote that proves it.

"I do anything Dahlia says."

It seems Dahlia was ready to dispose of him if he bacame a threat. All she had to do was be a bitch.

Of course he would. He was too weak to ward off her power :that-b-word: as was every other guy (except Diego, and so she had to take care of that one personally)

Hello, fellow Dahlia fans! :D
I, er, actually made some TWEWY-style sprites recently of the Hawthorne twins, and Franzise Deauxnim suggested that I post them here :D [Thank you so much for the encouragement! <3]

Well, actually she said I should put them in their respective fan threads...though I don't know if Iris has one. She has so many freakin' haters. So, I'll just put both of them here ^^;

I hope you enjoy, and if you'd like to see more of my TWEWY-fied sprites, you can visit my sprite thread where I posted them all.

I find this song to fit her quite well.

Spoiler:
Water grey, through the windows, up the stairs
Chilling rain, like an ocean everywhere
Don't want to reach for me do you?
I mean nothing to you
The little things give you away

And now there will be no mistaking
The levees are breaking

All you've ever wanted
Was someone to truly look up to you
And six feet underwater I do

Hope decays, generations disappear
Washed away, as a nation simply stares
Don't want to reach for me do you?
I mean nothing to you
The little things give you away

But now there will be no mistaking
The levees are breaking

All you've ever wanted
Was someone to truly look up to you
And six feet underwater I do

All you've ever wanted
Was someone to truly look up to you
And six feet underground, now I
Now I do

Little things give you away (x4)
Little things give you away (All you've ever wanted)
Little things give you away (Was someone to truly look up to you) [x6]

Dahlia is my favourite villain in the whole series. I love her whole connection to the Feys, and I hate her for the way she poisoned Diego. :larry: And the way she comes back from the dead to get revenge on everyone, well, that's what I'm going to do when I die.

It annoys me when people try and compare her with Kristoph Gavin though. He's nothing compared to her imo.

Oh, man! I shall stalk this thread. I'm like "NOOOEZ!" when Dahlia's around, but I like her since she's a pretty interesting character. I just noticed that she's a lot like the protagonist of my short stories, Barbara Baker. Her scarf makes me even more convinced they're somewhat related... Plus they die in a similar manner...
Wonderful art, by the way! They shall serve as inspiration!

A minute ago, this thread had 6666 views. Nice.

No wonder Dahlia carries an umbrella. She's so evil that storm clouds follow her and cause bad weather in every single outdoor case she's involved in. Maybe the mountains just have bad weather in winter, but with rain on the day of 3-4,
Spoiler:
snow and major lightning in 3-5,
possibly bad weather during the diamond heist, and thunderstorms on the day of 3-1, you know she's bad news. For all we know, there was lightning when she poisoned Diego, too.

Dahlia may look frail, but she's actually pretty strong. She can win a fight with a (off-guard) police sergeant and a (dazed) young man. At age 14, she can fall 40 feet and swim in a dress in a raging icy river that's regarded as certain death and make it to shore, possibly with a backpack containing a big chunk of ore. She could carry a trench coat in addition to her normal clothes, a tripod and camera, a lockpick, a dagger (presumably with a sheath), and gloves all the way up a mountain in bad weather (or else she left a vehicle at the temple). She could carry Valerie's police-trained body to a car, open the trunk, and lift her in there without letting the body drag on the muddy ground.

I found her interesting - I generally like or pay more attention when there is a person whose sanity seems to hang by a silk thread. Perhaps it's just an understanding of it and that's why I like them. With Dahlia, I sort of spoiled myself on her mean personality for 3-1 but that was all I knew about her. So I knew that when I saw that innocent and cute looking girl, I had my suspicions anyway.

What I do not understand or like about her, is that...
Spoiler: regarding 3-5
when she finds out that the one channeling her is Maya, Dahlia chooses to do nothing! This is the young woman who pulled off the majority of a heist at the age of 14, survived throwing herself into a raging river at the same age, successfully killed someone at the age of 19, then killed someone at age 20 and somebody else 8 months later... So why does she just stand there and listen to the long taunting? I had actually expected her to, like, rush out of the courtroom and head for the roof to jump off. She says herself, nobody can do anything to her anymore and it would've been a pretty solid way to get rid of Maya.

There are presumably guards and stuff in the courthouse. There are even guards in the defendant lobbies, presumably because of a certain other case in the series.

Considering the usefulness of the police in general, I doubt the bailiffs are capable of catching a woman.
They only managed to take Maya out in 1-4 because von-freaking-Karma told them to in his South Park Mr Satan voice.

You're missing the point, Cat. As useless as the AA police force is, even they aren't capable of such a major blunder as letting a witness who had just proved herself to be dangerously insane and violent escape right in front of their eyes. The only two cases of escaping court we ever see on AA are Yanni Yogi, who not only used to be a bailiff too (giving him opportunity to, say, find escape routes more easily) but also wasn't under suspicion anyway, so they treated him as a normal witness and let him go while Phoenix was still working that train wreck of a brain he's got, and Zak Grammarye, who is not only a gifted performer, also got lucky and had the also gifted Mike Meekins on his tail instead of a competent bailiff.

Considering Dahlia had no weapons on her, she couldn't do anything either to Maya's body or to any other person in court. Her plan was to have Maya found guilty of murder, make everyone believe Maya was dead, leave court and probably "kill herself" (remember, she thought she was being channeled by Pearl) to send a message to Morgan. When she learned it was actually Maya channeling her, she was caught by suprise, and Mia picked on that single moment of weakness to torment her. Probably knowing she could do little else - if she started banging her head against the stand or something, she was going to be detained and then God knows what would happen, probably they'd get a Kurain medium to exorcise her or something dumb like that - she just stood there cursing as Mia and Phoenix bullied her to dismay.

Yanni didn't really "escape" so much as he simply left the building. After all, there was more than enough time for this bumbling old fool to give his lie of a testimony, go outside, that whole Larry thing happens and by the time they actually think of questioning him again, he simply went outside.

Yeah, I even forgot about the Larry stuff. I guess he never really fled the court after all, he knew, as you said, that just leaving the building casually wouldn't arouse any suspicion. Why he didn't take the next train station to Pallet Town and vanished from the public eye is beyond me.

But I digress.

I'm glad that there's so many more people who appreciate Dahlia. She's easily one of my favorite fictional villains ever.

I actually worried about people hating Dahlia more than they should.

Yeah, I can understand why. This person killed two people, tried to kill a third, and had a deep-seated hatred of her ex-boyfriend and relative.

However, I absolutely love Dollie. You actually have to feel sorry for this woman.
