Sitting up with a stretch and looking over to the bed, she saw Zues lying spread eagled across the whole bed. Bed hog, she thought, feeling the ache in her back from sleeping on a hard floor. Standing up, Scarlet burrowed her way back into the bed and hit him with a pillow.

"'Z'OUCH! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?" screamed Zues as he was hit by the pillow. Obviously, it didn't hurt him, but he was dreaming that he was hit with a metal pole the exact moment he was hit by the pillow. "PUT YOUR HANDS UP, SCOUNDREL!"

He looked for hsi gun, and then remembered that he was in his bed. He looked at Scarlet and blinked.

"Have a good sleep?"

Lucas read the note and frowned at it.

"She thinks I'm a pervert?"

He closed the door, and started to read. He wasn't going to let anyone, even himself, know he was upset.

Scarlet snorted. "Hardly. I only just got back on the bed - you must hve pushed me off as I slept," she said, stretching her back more. She remembered her bullet wound and looked down at the bandaged arm which was now stained a dark red-brown.

Zues tried to refrain from laughing.

"Sorry, I've just NEVER shared a bed in my life. When I was scared as a young boy, rather than going to mum's room, I actually went downstairs to watch TV..."

Zues then started laughing.

"If you're gonna share a bed, share it with your lover, not a friend!"

He looked at the wound. He then put on a serious smile, despite laughing inside.

"How's the wound?"
