First Attempts :P
Just to show you my first 2 attempts:

Ok, the first one here, the eyes are bit creepy. The second one, the eyes are a bit too big, but that's probably because the head is too small.

I really like the one with Trucy head on vera's body. :minuki:

The head of Pearl is a bit too high.
For the last one, the color of her eyes is too bright.

That's a good start, but I think you must find colors wich are less bright

Uhm, I know you didn't want comments on this one but maybe you can re-save it because I can hardly recognize anything...put overall for the first attempt it doesn't look bad either :phoenix:

Well looks much better than your first one, but when piecing together sprites be aware of the proportions of the body and head. Some look a bit unnaturally like the Pearl/Vera one :pearl:

For all your OCs I personally would say try a other method of coloring, the hair and dresses all look a bit to pale and shadeless :sadshoe:

For the dresses of Trucy ahhm, I would add more shade but they are fine anyway :godot:

So far not bad the base looks promising but the head is definitely to small for the body try to make it a bit bigger. I hope my critics weren't to harsh and maybe it helps you to improve more. Just don't lose the fun in making sprites that's the most important thing I can say be now :phoenix:

I actually remade that one but then i saved it as a jpeg so i stopped trying to make an older pearl... might try again sometime

Thanks For the Critique everyone, I'm surprised no one asked about the splice between Viola and Phoenix :/ The Franny/Edgey was just a random attempt at switching heads of characters...

Tora's head was so annoying... i remade it and everything but it still looked too small...

Who can guess who i made Tora out of?

Thanks everyone :D Does anyone have any suggestions for whose head i should use for Tora?
I'm remaking the dress trucies with LawfulMagician's new bases, slightly darker this time.
I really suck with GIMP, i might use it again sometime but it is my last attempt for now...

Sorry, I'm terrible with suggestions, but I agree! GIMP is impossible! I don't know how people use it! I only used it once to smooth out the edges on a sprite I made! (still my sprites fail though haha) and that is just about the only thing I can use on GIMP! :sadshoe:
