In the french version of the game, what is Jean Armstrong going to be like with his french referances? Will he speak another languich?

Unless they turn Tres Bien into a different restaurant, I don't see why they would, since his broken French is just him trying to be a French chef.

I imagine the problem of localising Jean Armstrong for France is one of the reasons for the long wait for T&T in Europe, and I've mentioned it a few times before. I think they're pretty limited with what they can change with him; he may be English or German in the localisation with a poor grasp of French to keep the character more-or-less the same, or he may remain French. They haven't got many options beyond that, really; they're not in a position to alter much in-game art. :/

I can't help but think they'll botch the French version considering the apparently bad job they did on JFA.

Does we even do these things anymore?

Did anyone else notice how terrible his French was? I don't even speak French fluently and I noticed it. There were so many errors *shudders*

Also, it's possible that for the French language version they could make him a French version of Redd White :redd:

I'm rather curious about what they would do in the French version game, too. I agree with Asura Velotix: it would be rather simple to just make him English or German and just make it so that he doesn't really know French and just sticks random English/German words in.

I seriously would shoot someone like that if they were English. But since he DOES lapse into Spanish, I think they will. I wonder what the European one will be like? I got an import :edgy:

Actually, no date has been announced for T&T in Europe yet. All we know is that AJ will come out on 9th May and T&T will probably come out after that for some reason. If you don't believe me check http://www.nintendo.co.uk.

Off-topic:

Nintendo have neither confirmed nor denied the release date of T&T. If it really is March 21st, they're releasing it with no fanfare whatsoever, choosing to focus on AJ instead.
