This one I drew out of the blue, one day... It was going to be Edgey and Phoenix, but the person/body that Phoenix was holding looked far too small to make it Edgey. So I used Maya. Hm.

Name: Lin (Liang Xiang) Mao.
occuation: Surgeon
age: *PW-2: 27 *PW-3: 28
family: deceased brother. deceased patents. adopted parents.
personality: Actually pretty polite and calm. But is VERY seroius and professional when it comes to her work. She makes no time for idle/friendly conversation. But out of work, she'll let out a smile and be willing to make conversation.

Background:
To make a long story short... She and her brother grew up in Hong Kong, China. They went to America (or wherever our PW setting is at) when she was 11. Her parents (a doctor and nurse couple, which is where Lin got her liking for medicine and health.) died in a fire that occured at their hospital. And thus became an orphan, along with her brother (whom was 6 when their parents died), at age 14. But they were adopted by a same-sex couple at some point. Lin had a very hard time accepting them (her brother didn't know the difference, however.) at first and it took time to realize it.

Lin spent the rest of her teenage years being VERY protective of her little brother and trying to grow up faster. It's something she now wished she never did. Because she regrets not being as open to people as she wants to be. One of her other weaskspots is how she never ever mentioned to anyone (unless she trusts them), even her co-workers as of today, about how she was raised by two dads and she still keeps in touch with them.

How does PW meet her? She loses her very first patient... Which whom she's being accused of malpractice for. Ironically enough, the patient was her own 18-year old brother who died on the operating table. You can find out more about that whenever I write the story. Or draw a doujinshi/manga. She transfers to another hospital after the case. She begins to work for Derek Stiles and Angie.

notes: Lin has a girlfriend, whom she's been in a relationship with since she was in Med. school. (you can see who she is once I draw her. or make her sprite. The same for her kid brother.) So, obviously, she has no relationships with any of the cast, in case you were wondering. =P
Her brother was into acting/singing. Basically, any music/drama-careers he went after.

Lin when I FIRST just made her up. She's one crazy, assertive lady. This was drawn in '06. A little after I played the first Phoenix Wright game. O=
In this scene, Phoenix got shot in the leg and is being stubborn and doesn't want to go to a hospital. She resorts to drastic measures.



Poor thing... Just because she's a female OC, everyone's going to think she's a mary sue. D=
Lin looks like she's going to scream "OUENDAN~" any minute now. XD

I think only two of them have names so far... The middle child has aname so far. The little girl and the oldest ones? Can you think of name that could work for them?

The oldest-


name- none as of yet... But his last name is Fey (or Ayasato, whicheerv you prefer to use.).
He is 28 years old and a lawyer (defense attourney).
His kid sister gave him that third purple ball thing she was supposed to wear in her hair, but she gave it up to him. (like in this very picture.) She she only keeps two.



name: I was thinking of calling her Yumi.. But that's only for when I go by Ayasato. So an english name is still being thought of. .__.
current age: 8. But we see her again sometime when she's 17-18.
She's obviously a spirit medium in training.


name: Enlai Fey.
curently: 18.
occupation: Is his brother's assistant. As well as a spirit channeler of ANOTHER CLAN that isn't the Feys. After learning another clan's technique of spirit channeling, he returns (after being gone for 10 years.) to work along side with his brother. I'm pretty sure he's never met his baby sister yet.
