I just have a feeling I won't be getting anything done for some time (cause it get's really dark in Finland and I don't get enough sun, thus, I'm tired and a bit depressed all the time), so I thought I'd put these up. I don't mind getting critique and hearing people's opinions. ^^

I don't really know what age he's supposed to be, I just wanted to draw him as a defense attorney, it's part of an AU fic I'm writing (and propably never finishing). And it's true, about the lips. My style is so different from the original AA drawings that the characters often don't come out looking too much like they should. Someone's said something about the way I draw lips before too.

Opinion much appreciated. ^^

Okay! So I finally pushed myself a little and got a project to a certain point and thus, I was finally able to post this too. After this I've got... two pictures already done, but I'll only post them a little later... I'm putting up an exhibit and I have to make those drawings before January... ;__; Actually I have to finish before 14th of December, since I'll be making a calendar of those pictures for a friend of mine and it won't make it for Christmas if I don't have all the pictures by the 14th...

I've already commented on the Fran pic, but I luff eet ^^ specially cheeky Phoenix in the background ^^ I also notice now- the background is on an angle but all the people in the pic are upright- they should also be on an angle *nods* Gotta watch that. Angled pics are great for dynamics, btu the whole pic has to be tiled for that to work :)

I donno- I think maybe his lips are a little red, but men have broad upper lips too. It's not till they're in their late 30s and 40s that the lip flattens out. If Edgeworth is 27 like he is in T & T, he'll still have a reasonably broad upper lip- specially on that angle. If he smiled it'd flatten out. I think it's fine ^^

You're right, at least Franziska should be standing differently. I'll keep this in mind the next time I try to draw something angled like this. :D

Also, I didn't look too much into this pic, I just grabbed a random sketch to practice on. I think it's his gigantic-looking eyes that bother me the most, though. xD

It's really hard. I haven't drawn realistic pictures in a while now, since we haven't had any drawing courses in school either... So I hope it won't turn out too weird. : D And uh... I picked my reference picture from quite an unexpected place... XD

XXDD Oh really? XD Yeah- his hair is ALOT harder than Mile's to draw- mostly cause it actually defies gravity. I usually shorten it a bit and have it more 'slicked back' than 100 mile an hour lines. That's cool though! I'm glad I inspired you to draw it ^^

Drawing courses don't mean alot. You CAN learn art by yourself- I mostly have. Some basics need to be tough, but after that, you can refine yourself. I wouldn't worry. If you want perfectionists crit, I can give it, but generally as a rule of thumb, if it looks right then I wouldn't worry :)

Hehe, I think it's more a question of if the reference I used is good for Phoenix or not...

And I cleverly placed him on the side of the paper so you can't see the back of his hair. : D And I kind of made it look a bit messier than usually, just to give it a puffy sort of look to imitate his... uh... horn-looking things :phoenix:

I merely meant that I haven't drawn anything realistic outside of class in a long time, and I haven't had classes either. My teacher does give really good and encouraging critique, but it's not really her who I learned to draw from. ^^
