Man, the sprites voting seems to be a close one between Regal Wright and Jian Jen Lin =O! I'm interested to see who comes out winning in the end xD!

with that being said, I'm sorry to all of you who i came off as a bitch. :< I really reeeeaalllyy didn't mean for any of that to happen. it's just, the last few weeks have been very stressfull for me. and I'm just sick of being ridiculed. Don't worry, Minuki, in any contest, usually the ones winning the race at the beginning are proded and criticized. People are going to ridicule..but the process is called cultivation. Characters construed as Sues now probably won't receive the same scrutiny a year or two from now.
And a creator's personality will always poke through in some way...there's nothing to be done about that but let the person make mistakes and learn from them.

Winning or losing won't matter for me in the end, since the entry was a gift to a loved one anyway... If I do win (Ha! I can dream, can't I?), I'd give the calendar to my friend as another gift.

now that i've read your post, i guess i made the right decision to withdraw from the contest. i knew my entry was a bit rushed, and i didnt have the tools anyway. now i can improve her character even more.

Though Regal Wright won the popular vote by a small margin and shows great execution, the judges gave the edge to Jian Lin for her uniqueness and series continuity. Marc Attacca also deserves a great deal of praise for the completeness of the entry, and for such a great display of personality. Great work, all of you!

What Marc lacks in complicated detail, I think he totally makes up for in charm. He's adorable and his personality comes across so well in the sprites. The judges loved his variety and the detail in your entry (even going so far as to give him an English AND Japanese name).
I just wish I had more prizes to give!
