I absolutely love Christmas-time. I love the feeling in the air, the putting up of the large tree, and the general warmth it brings.

It snows a lot here, apparently, which it didn't in Italy, so I might just have a white Christmas. I'm so excited~

There's no more serene a feeling than sitting in the dark with a real tree watching the lights twinkle. If you haven't tried it... just, just do.

I'm going into London next Tuesday to see the lights, then again on Christmas Eve. We always try to go to Westminster Cathedral for mass on Christmas Eve. I cannot wait.
Now COMON SNOW!

Do you find that fun? :O

I thought part of the magic was the Christmas morning feeling and the anticipation leading up to it. :/

Each to their own.

We (That is, my brother and I) normally have one present on Christmas Eve. Usually some time after dinner. Other than that, no early presents at all.

I'm a little miffed at my friend. I sent him a present in the mail (he lives across the country) and he opened it early because he "had a bad day". BAD EXCUSE.

Psh, he should have. Maybe he could have done them both at the same time.

Oh well, the important thing is that he enjoyed it a lot. I got him a custom-made No More Heroes shirt.

I'm hoping to get a new phone and a box set of Azumanga Daioh for Christmas. And I'm getting my dad Hickory Farms (It's a box of food; I get him it every year), and my mother a book she wanted called "Eat This, Not That". And I got my brother that Alan Moore Batman comic, The Killing Joke.

My parents just came over, they are visiting me in town all weekend. We had our Christmas tonight since we can't actually have it together on the 25th. Grandma sent a crap load of cookies (the best kinds too) and by crap load I mean more than I could possibly eat by the end of the year, and that's saying something. XD
My mother gave me an "A Christmas Story" ornament to go with my lone Mario ornament on my tree, it's of the scene where the kid licks the flag pole. XD
Dad gave me rent for one month, the one thing I wanted for Christmas. That really meant allot to me.
The joint parental gift was a box with 3 t-shirts, Mario in a wing cap with the words "Wing Man", a Sonic the Hedgehog shirt, and another Mario riding Yoshi with Japanese all over it, and 3 books on tape, all written by Chuck Norris. I thought that was pretty neat.
My sister sent me a Rock Band logo trucker cap and a little wooden surfer tiki dude.

I felt kinda bad because all I could afford was a couple snow globs for my parents and a snow man for grandma. I'll have ot make sure I get my sister something extra special for her wedding in May.
Mom got a Nativity scene snow globe to add to her Nativity collection, and dad got a golf globe (no snow) with a ball and a hole in it, you have to try to get the ball in the hole by turning it, I thought it was neat.

We also went out to dinner to a really nice NY style pizza place and got me some milk and eggnog (at the Circle K store that was in the movie Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure), tomorrow we are going bowling (at the bowling alley that was also in that movie) and while they are in town they want to go to the Phoenix zoo so the three of us will be going there Sunday, really looking forward to that. This is turning out to be the best Christmas I've had in quite a while thanks to getting to see my parents. ^^,

MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL!

@Doctor, YES! But this one is yellow. I have a friend with that white one though. And it was a great early Christmas. I haven't gotten to see my family in a while so this was great.

that snuggly warm feeling as you sit by the tree in the dark watching the twinkly lights

I always liked this, but it means so much more to me now that I've been away at college for a semester. There really is no place like home for the holidays. So good :) If I made a list of everything I was happy for this winter break, let's just say I'd have a very long list.

Might be getting a lot of snow tomorrow. We'll see!

I really do hate the snow. As I was walking to College on its second to last day, going uphill all the snow was blowing against me, and seemed to be aiming straight at my face. Getting the bus back, it started snowing again and walking through the snow lowered my walking pace, and I had to lower my hood so I couldn't see above the ground, to stop it getting in my eyes. I then had to wait 45 minutes for my bus, and while looking at the turn the bus comes from, it started snowing again, straight in my opposite direction again.

Today, my mum told me that because snow was covering the ground, our chickens couldn't get to the grass and eat it. They were also shivering cold, and had to stand on one leg it was so unbearable. I had to go outside, and brush some of the snow aside so the grass would show. I also shoveled the snow on our path from the gate to the front door. As soon as I go back inside, it starts snowing again.

My chickens are starving and shivering, and the snow keeps getting into my eyes. I hate snow.

OK, lets address a few important points.

Anyone who doubts the existence of Father Christmas or any of his aliases is clearly deluded. Don't believe them. He's real.
Secondly it's fookin freezing in the YOO KAY.
I was having to work in the end of the shop next to the doors. It was at most 10°C, and the legal limit is 16°C. I feel like complaining, especially considering I caught a chill and have been feeling ill all day. Not to mention I had to sort of the fridges, which were like 2°C. I'm soo ill now.

We haven't had the snow we were promised yet, it's too cold at the moment. Hopefully by Christmas we'll have some.

I just had all my family round today, so that was great to see them. I am now playing Christmas Songs from my computer, and getting in the mood.
I cannot wait.

You should complain to the fuckers D=<

I haven't been out at all today but I went to shops last night. I thought I'd be freezing so I was wearing tights under jeggings, a thick dress, a pair of socks and cardi boots, big coat, wooly hat, scarf and gloves.

I WAS STILL COLD ;_____;

We have a good amount of snow still and I hope work is covered, it looked gorgeous when it snowed last time.

Then snow pics are gorgeous. <3

And usually when it's early in the morning or when my mum comes back from going out she gives me a stocking. Then we all open the presents under the tree and sometimes there's a couple waiting downstairs and Pete comes to see me open my prezzies.

I enjoy the family gathering of the holidays. I think many people take their presents for granted considering in about six months to a year, you'll never use half the gifts again. Granted some are rather nice and you'll utilize them for quite some time.

Hold the press, a white Christmas where I am may be back on again. It's belting down, and it's settled a centimetre thick in the space of 20 minutes.

I just hope father can get home from work.
