A recently released prisoner was pushing his car when he stopped at a hotel. He suddenly realized he was bankrupt. How is this possible?

Ok, heres two my grandad showed me.

1. A large truck is crossing a bridge 10 miles long. The bridge can only hold 14000 lbs, which is the exact weight of the truck. The truck makes it half way across the bridge and stops. A bird lands on the truck. Does the bridge collapse? Give a reason why, as well!

2. There is a man stuck in a room with two possible ways out, but also two dredful things stopping him escaping that way. The first way out is a door, problem is on the other side is a dragon that will kill him if he opens the door. Second, there is a window he can jump out of (It's a ground floor room) but there is a huge magnifying glass outside the window. If he goes near the magnifying glass, the heat will sizzle him up and kill him in an instant.
Despite these two hinderances, there is actually a way out of this room. How can he get out?

1. The bridge won't collapse, since the truck loses some petrol and so it will be lighter.

2. Maybe he waits until it's night so that there is no sun and the magnifying glass can't kill him?

I have another one:

Arnold Schwarzenegger has a big one. Michael J. Fox has a small one. Madonna doesn't have
one. The Pope has one but doesn't use it. Clinton uses his all the time. Mickey Mouse has an unusual one. Bush is one. A couple often uses him together. What is it?

Here's a long one:

Using only the number 4, and different mathematical operations of any kind, produce 101 equations that equal the numbers 0-100.

@Scarred_owl, to your second riddle about escaping the room....
Spoiler: I'm not quite sure, but...
...You open the door, and trick the dragon into flying out of the window so that the dragon would burn, then you escape through the door.

I've been away for far too long.
So long, in fact, that all of my signatures now exist behind a paywall.

But no.2...

Nope, neither were correct. This one took me a good 10 minutes to solve, so just watch TV and think about it or something. the answer will suddenly come to you.

Awww... is square rooting acceptable? Depending how you define certain things, a lot of stuff is harder or easier, but square roots are probably the most important...

You can't nth root four, but feel free to nth root the sub/equation. At no time can you make a single '4' a '2', and other variations, but an equation that submisses four, feel free.

4-4 = 0
4/4 = 1
(4*4)^(1/4) = 2 (4th root of 16)
4-4/4 = 3
4 = 4
4+1 = 5 (Replace 1 with 4/4)
4+2 = 6 (Replace 2 with (4*4)^(1/4); I'm not writing that out every time I want a 2)
4*2-1 = 7
4*2 = 8
4*2+1 = 9
(4+1)*2 = 10
4*4-4-1 = 11
4*4-4 = 12
4*4-4+1 = 13
4*4-2 = 14
4*4-1 = 15
4*4 = 16
4*4+1 = 17
(4+2)*(4-1) = 18
4*4+4-1 = 19
4*4+4 = 20
4*4+4+1 = 21
now im bored, maybeh later

EDIT: meh, I've got a better way.
0: 4-4
1: 4/4
2: 4rt(4*4)
3: 4-4/4

31: (4-4/4)*4 + 4/4
32: (4-4/4)*4 + 4rt(4*4)
33: (4-4/4)*4 + 4-4/4
100: 4*4
101: 4*4 + 4/4

122: 4*4 + 4rt(4*4)*4 + 4rt(4*4)

130: 4*4 + (4-4/4)*4
131: 4*4 + (4-4/4)*4 + 4/4
132: 4*4 + (4-4/4)*4 + 4rt(4*4)
133: 4*4 + (4-4/4)*4 + 4-4/4
200: 4rt(4*4)*(4*4)
201: 4rt(4*4)*(4*4) + 4/4
202: 4rt(4*4)*(4*4) + 4rt(4*4)
203: 4rt(4*4)*(4*4) + 4-4/4
210: 4rt(4*4)*(4*4) + 4
211: 4rt(4*4)*(4*4) + 4 + 4/4
212: 4rt(4*4)*(4*4) + 4 + 4rt(4*4)
213: 4rt(4*4)*(4*4) + 4 + 4-4/4
220: 4rt(4*4)*(4*4) + 4rt(4*4)*4
221: 4rt(4*4)*(4*4) + 4rt(4*4)*4 + 4/4
okay, bored again. But just repeat to 100.

Hmm...we need some more riddles.
Here are some.

1) Sam's father is five years older than Sam's grandfather. How can that be? (easy)
2) There's a man who can shave 10 times a day and still have a full beard. Who is he?
3) One morning while she was eating breakfast, a woman dropped a ring into her full cup of coffee, but when she pulled it out it wasn't wet. How is this possible?
4) A young girl walked down a street and found something with no bones at all, and no legs. She decided to bring it home. A week later, it walked away. What did she bring home?

As for number one: two different people named Sam.
2: Any man, could be shaving his chest or leg hair, etc.

Dunno botu the other two right now though, I'll need to think some more.
