The story of the Christmas Comic was Phoenix gets shot. Maya, Gumshoe and Maggey got after the killer find Phoenix, Maya kisses him, he wakes up and they all have a great party. Then in the end it turns out Pearls shot Phoenix to have Maya go after Phoenix and the couple becoming closer together. That's why I scrapped the comic.
