I'm digging the Altair one. I like the multiple colors in the background, but I'm not a big fan of the shiny bits on the Altair image. However, that's just a personal preference. Out of the two, the Altair one is the best.

I think I prefer the Altair one myself too. I think as Gya pointed out the Phoenix one is rather low quality and looks a tad boring. There's too much flow on the left side of the signature, well there's not much on the right side. Also, I didn't really like the font I used it didn't appeal to me, so thats something I changed (>current signature). I think the image itself got not much going on, so that may be of influence as well. (the image doesn't really seem to fit in with the background/go with the flow either..) I'd like the effect, which kinda looks like a lighting bolt, in the left bottom corner though, I think that looks pretty cool.
