Welcome to the new and updated thread on Casemakers, Fangames, and other interesting Fanprojects.
I am aware that there is already a page on this, but it seems to be outdated and very low on the thread list. With the consent of the creators, I am making this page, and will update it whenever it is requested by the creators themselves. Remember, this is a fan "PROJECTS" page as well, so sprite comics, a credible group for remixes, or anything else Phoenix Wright related. Please be sure that you have a page of your works if it is not a game or casemaker. I unfortunately cannot add you on this page for having a few fanart pieces or a few remixes.
If you are anxious to get started, but don't know how to, here's a very detailed guide made by Tap:
http://www.forums.court-records.net/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=17839If you are having troubles with a certain casemaker, or have any questions, please ask here, or on the official topic of the casemaker. Do not create new topics, as this clutters up the forum and is probably quite annoying to the mods and admins who work hard to run this forum.
Now, for the main event:

PWLib/AIGE
AIGE, or the Anime Image Game Engine is an advanced game maker that uses PWLib or the Phoenix Wright Library as its base for making Phoenix Wright games. It features near perfect emulation of almost every function of an official Phoenix Wright game, and with the upcoming PWLib 1.2 Mio update, many more functions and updates will be added to advance the program with the official games. The programming language is slightly difficult to understand as a beginner, but any questions you may have will be answered by either the creator, KSA_Tech, or by PWLib In A Nutshell, a tutorial designed to cover all aspects of PWLib scripting.

PyWright is a visually pleasing casemaker that cuts back on perfect emulation, but substitutes with easier coding. Although perfect emulation is not focused on with Pywright, it does support everything necessary for a standard Phoenix Wright game. Like PWLib, it supports many, many functions, and it also has interesting functions such as automatic text speed adjustments, where a comma or period will slow down text to make the speech seem more human. It also has simple keyboard hotkeys for things like the Court Record, and Save/Load. Assistance is offered through saluk directly or through the official CR thread for PyWright.

A tutorial for those interested in making a game in Pywright. The Turnabout Awesome series is a (so far) three part series designed to help rookie coders learn to write in Pywright. They explains everything simply in layman's terms so that even somebody with no programming experience should be able to learn from them. The perfect place to start if you're looking to make a game, but have no idea how to write it.
The first tutorial can be found in the "Pywright Tutorial" thread on this very forum. It covers the basics, such as starting up your new game and writing very basic scenes. It has several pictures, to show how everything should look. The second and third are downloadable and interactive. They cover more intermediate material and are a good place to look once you've familiarized yourself with the stuff in the first.

Ace Attorney Online is a creative casemaker that allows the creation of cases and makes them playable online. Close to, but not exact emulation is offered, but creation of cases are very simple. Taking place two years after the events of Turnabout Succession, Apollo has been living the good life. Well, we don't talk about him these days.
But that all changes when he takes a seemingly simple case of a high judge and sets in motion a chain of events that threaten to ruin Apollo and all those he holds dear...

This game takes place between Justice for All and Trials & Tribulations, where Phoenix Wright continues to defend clients while facing a new prosecutor, Luis Hawk. A Turnabout To El Dorado
Taking place several months after the events of Spirit of Justice, Phoenix finds himself alone when he takes a rather strange -- and extremely hopeless case. With an uncooperative defendant, a staggering amount of evidence supporting the police's case, and a prosecutor that clearly has it in for him, how will Phoenix turn things around? Is there even any room for doubt?
Where does the truth lie?
In the hearts of the key players, all with their own secrets and motives?
Between the trees of the dense forest, the scene of a horrific murder?
Or perhaps, in the mythical city of gold that seems to be the connecting factor between the strange circumstances of the case -- El Dorado?

Phoenix Wright, legendary defense attorney, a name any defendant can trust openly (well, almost any defendant). Mr. Wright has experienced everything that the law could possibly throw at him. With years of experience, pre- and post-disbarment, it isn't a surprise to many that Nick has experienced the ins and outs of the courtroom to the point of near predictability. Until his return home from abroad, that is; that's when everything changes. Life spirals downward as Phoenix finds his sanity slowly beginning to fade almost immediately after being thrust into a series of cases upon arriving in the states from the Kingdom of Khura'in. Will Phoenix be able to turn around the overtaking insanity? Or will the true darkness the law has kept hidden for so long be brought to light and bring his whole world crashing down on him?
