((Sheila, Howl and Rose are at the Detention Center, we are heading to the District Courthouse, where the staged murder took place. The body was effectively dangled from the ceiling, as Sheila and Howl discovered from the video footage, so Portia wants to check where it was hung from in case the killer left any clues (as they probably didn't expect anyone to work out that the killing was staged. That OK?))

The cab arrived at the courthouse and Zed stepped out first, holding the door open for the others.

"That I do. Come on, the quicker we do this, the more likely there'll still be some evidence around." Portia walked briskly into the courthouse and located the correct room. It looked as though police involvement had already begun, but it was apparent that they hadn't left anybody to guard the crime scene. The body had been removed and the area cordoned off but that was about all that had changed. As if a bit of yellow tape's going to keep me out... She frowned. The small space above the ceiling was not a room, it was simply where all the electricals were housed and so had no obvious access route. The electricals... and the air vents. "I hope neither of you object to climbing through the air vents? Because that's the only way to get up there." she stated, waiting for a reaction.

"Hm...She'd be less willing to talk to a big crowd," Sheila said hesitantly. In all honesty, she wasn't sure the lady would be willing to talk to her at all. "I say we take the initiative and question her. Then we can tell everyone else of our findings whenever they get here."

Howl nodded, and proceeded to enter back into the questioning room. He pulled the chair to the side, making room for the both of them. He nodded to the officer on the opposite side of the glass to bring the girl in. There would be some sly words in the conversation to follow, so everything he would hear, wouldn't necessarily be the truth, as well that she may not exactly be stable either.

In the preceding minutes, the woman was brought in, and sat in front of Howl, the glass being the only boundary. He stared silently at her (His usual greeting), waiting for Sheila to begin the questioning, seeing that she has had a recount with the girl.

"Um...Hello," Sheila said nervously to the girl, who just glared at her the same way Howl was glaring. Sheila gulped. Her last encounter with her, she was accusing her of murder. The execution date was already set.
"Do you know about The Prosecutor Killer?" No response. "He was murdered, and it was in such a fashion that..."
"I know," the girl said crisply. She didn't say anything else as she glared.
"So, do you...?"
"Yes. But I'm not telling you."

A smart-aleck response sent Howl over the edge.

"Look. Your 'Hubby', who tried to kill multiple people, is dead. He was assassinated in the same fashion that he killed others. You are going to die. You've nothing to do but rot in a minute tiny jail cell till' the government puts you down. Now, either you tell us what you know, and possibly have a chance to breathe with some dignity, or I will make That day come so fast you won't even get a last meal. We don't need some smart-assed girl to play head games with us, or try to throw her 'I've nothing to do but die' story at us. Tell us what you know, and you can go back to your sob story... got it?!"

Not waiting for a second affirmation, Portia produced a screwdriver from her jacket pocket and proceeded to unscrew the grille that blocked them off from the air vent. That done, she kicked off her shoes and wriggled into the air vent, thankful that she'd chosen not to have both cream and custard on her dessert the previous night. It was dark inside the vent, but luckily there were no junctions that could lead her off the wrong way. She spied another grille up ahead and figured that might be the right one. But she could hear, yes she was sure she could hear...voices? Were there people there already?

He followed until Portia came to a stop, "Hey, are you okay?" He asked refering to the stop in motion.

"Zip it, Arken!" Portia hissed furiously, formalities forgotten. Well, it was hard to be polite to somebody you were trapped in an air vent with. She strained to catch any fragments of the coversation that was going on on the other side of the steel grate.

NY-5.....
.....must not be forgotten.....
....Kamen.....

Portia's eyes widened. This was what they'd been looking for, definitive proof that the courthouse killing was linked to the Prosecutor Killer. Kamen. That's the guy who rang Rose about NY-5 and the killings. And now I'm hearing them both mentioned in a conversation? There's no way that's coincidence. A thought struck her. If the only way into the room was through the air vent the three prosecutors were currently jammed up in, then the two people who were talking would shortly be exiting that same way. Which meant....

"We have to get out. Quick." Portia whispered. "We'll wait for them by the opening."

Portia appeared as if she was trying to listen to something, so Zed tried to listen too:

...those prosecutors...

I wonder who they're talking about? Not us, I hope. They probably heard us...
He backed out of the vent and let the others out.

"The vent was closed when we got here, and there is no way to close it from the inside. Are you sure there aren't any other entrances?"

"I'm...not sure." Portia replied, chewing on her lower lip. "That room's only used to keep the electrical stuff in. Maybe.... oh, of course! The maintenance elevator!" It was a little known fact that the District Courthouse had two elevators, one for frequenters of the courthouse and another for the maintenance staff. Since most of the courthouse's electricals were in that tiny room, it stood to reason that it would have elevator access.

"Why the maintenance elevator though?"
Bobobo asked as a question-mark popped out of his afro.
"That seem suspicious, and suspicious things give me the willes."

((Kay, Franziska's going to join Lida_Rose and LWOD in the Detention Center, if that's okay))

The rhythmic click of her heels in the linoleum floor echoed as she tread along the hallway of the detention center. Whip in-hand, Franziska gave a face full of leather and a menacing glare towards anyone whom dared look her way. It was lunchtime, and she was ravenous. No fool was going to stand between her and the perfectly-prepared caesar salad waiting for her in her office. Shoving aside anything that stand in her way, including a small child, Franziska was determined to make it back to her office . However, as she was passing one of the cell doors, a familiar voice caused her to halt.

"... we don't need some smart-assed girl to play head games with us, or try to throw her 'I've nothing to do but die' story at us. Tell us what you know, and you can go back to your sob story... got it?!" Franziska's grip on her weapon tightened when she heard the voice.

Foolishly foolish fool foolishly attempting to intimidate the foolish. Who does he think he is, harassing defendants?! That's my job! She spun around and threw the door to the cell open, swinging the whip to her side. Her hand twitched slightly as Franziska gave the room a once-over. Her glare immediately shifted onto Howl, then to Sheila, as she spoke. "Mr. Howl Ingmune. Ms. Sheila Axiom. I demand to know what's going on. You both know very well that any defendants deemed uncooperative are best "modified" if dealt with by me." Franziska slowly lifted her gaze to the woman sitting behind the glass. Arms and legs crossed, she appeared very defensive and unresponsive. "Well foolishly ignorant fool foolishly sitting behind a pane of reenforced glass. Are you being uncooperative?" Franziska raised her whip above her head and gave the woman an I'll-smash-this-glass-barrier-in-a-hot-second-if-you-answer-"yes" look. "Well?!?! Are you?!"

((Haha. XD Have I mentioned I love how you play Franziska in this RP lately, GDM? :D))
The lady behind the glass got red in the face.
"Now wait a minute..." she said, about to tell Howl off. Then Franziska showed up. Perfect. Could her day get any worse? "Of course I'm not being uncooperative, Miss Von Karma. Now, about the information you're seeking, the last place I know my husband was was at the courthouse." She shrugged. "And you think your brother did it, don't you?" She looked completely relaxed. "Shouldn't you be the one on top of where your own family is?"

Sheila winced, but quickly regained her composure.
"He's the one who decided to lose contact with me, not the other way around. Now tell me what you know. I have no time for mind games today." She glared at the woman behind the glass, who looked surprised, but then relaxed again.

"Your brother is here, actually, plotting how to break everyone out of here. Something about the love of his life being in this wretched place," she said. "I'll bet if you go around the building, you'll see him. Of course, that's assuming that is what you want."

Howl was staring holes into the girl until his red-glance was broken by that voice.

"Mr. Howl Ingmune. Ms. Sheila Axiom. I demand to know what's going on..."

Her...

"Well?!?! Are you?!"

His anger topped, and broke. To the normal person, nothing was stressful about the situation, but to Howl, he had his limit. He jumped up and pointed his emphasis at Franziska, not conscious towards Sheila or the information streaming from the (Still to be unnamed) Girl.

"No, no, no, no, NO, NO, NO! I do NOT need YOU here to mess with our investigations! I have HAD IT with these freaking twists and turns that have been going on lately! It's like I'm in a friggin story book or something! Random people show up, murder happens, we've got a non-coherent sob story who won't tell us anything, a guy who OBVIOUSLY thinks he's in the 80's skating with the B-Gee's, a Spanish man with a mask who randomly comes and goes, a freaking psychopath who killed our assailant who is now targeting us which means the killer's killer is going to kill someone else, by that time we'll have 3 crime scenes, one we haven't even been to since the first shooting, my ride is DEMOLISHED, we don't have everything that I had planned for us to get, I've no idea where the others are, nor do I care at this point, I've still got to find this retired attorney who has something I need so I can fish out the freaking LIARS among our group, which I think we may be HELPING the true murderer because I think he is someone IN our group, I can't tell who's doing what, when, and where, and if the people are who they say they are! This ENTIRE thing is making me... RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!"

Howl flipped into a fit of momentary collapse as he roared to the ceiling; common considering it was only a couple weeks after his surgery for 'Infantile Hypertrophic Pyloric Stenosis' and amnesia. After about a minute of intimidating the ceiling, he began to pant, like he had just ran a marathon in the dessert. He dizzily walked back to his chair, and collapsed in it, giving a weak glare to Franziska. He shook his head, as he summed up his rant with a question;

"Why the hell are you here?"

Sheila looked at Howl as he went on a long rant and screamed. She hadn't realized Franziska's presence would cause him to have a melt down. She reached out and grabbed Howl's hand.
"Elizabeth gave us all the information we need for now," she said carefully. Sheila looked at the glass and saw she wasn't there. "I believe we may leave now." She then looked at Franziska. "Thanks for helping us, but I'm afraid I have to ask the same question as Mr. Ingmune: why are you here?"

((My apologies :godot: Thanks for reminding me))

"Why the maintenance elevator? Because it's the only other way to get up there, not to mention it's far more inconspicuous." Portia replied, motioning to the others to follow her, as she headed for the aforementioned elevator. She paused for a moment, then slipped off her shoes. They were excessively loud and Portia didn't want to be heard, if the people they'd overheard truly had taken the route she'd hypothesised. What am I going to do when and if I do see them? Arrest them? Knock them out? It was rare and infuriating that she couldn't work out an answer to something. "You two. Do you have any ideas as to what we should do if we do find them? You don't happen to have any tracking devices along with that fancy headset of yours, Arken?" she smiled.

Franziska grew a roguish smile as Howl ranted; she loved how her presence affected the man. Crossing her silk-veiled arms, Franziska tilted her head back and looked disdainfully down her nose. "Ha. Someone's life appears shambolic, no?" She brought her chin parallel with the ground, her icy, blue hair following along perfectly. "Not that I expected anything less of course, Mr. Howl Ingmune. You always were a bit... muddled."

She fiddled the fall of her whip, admiring the exquisitely-braided leather. "Actually, I was headed back to my office for lunch. If.... either of you would care to join me, its not like I have anything better to do. Perhaps my finely-tuned mind can be of some help with your current case?” Perfectly-plucked eyebrows raised, Franziska glanced from Howl to Sheila, and then back to Howl.

Zed was waiting for an opportunity to show off his HMD for a long time.
"Obviously, my dear." he said smiling. He clicked a small switch close to his ear and a small hologram radar shot out in front of him.

"They're too cluttered. I can't tell how many they are, but..." He paused and lowered his voice. "They look like they're about to exit from the elevator"
"Let's block them from both sides. Ports, me and you are going to block them from the elevator, pretending we're the cops. Bobby, you go and open the air vent on the other side. Are you two armed?"

Ports? Hmm, can't say I've ever been called that before. Sounds kind of...cute actually. "I have a pistol." Portia confirmed. "And a firearms permit to go with it, so no worries there." It felt good to finally have a lead on the case, regardless of the danger. The occupants of the elevator would most likely be armed, but she tried not to think about that too much.

"Armed? Alway's with my "Super Fist of the Nosehair" technique. My training has given me the ability to use my nosehairs as leathal weapons. My nosehairs have the strength of a baseball bat." Bobobo explained as two rope like nosehairs emerged from his nose. "If that doesn't wig'em out, I always got something in my fro. Nothing Leathal, but I can defend myself." He smiled. "Good, then let's start moving. Bobby, you know what to do."
Zed and Portia went to the elevator and crouched under the vent's exit.
"Remember we're the cops now." he whispered. Zed, not having any weapon, folded his shades to look like a pistol. "Ready?"

Bobobo climbed into the air vent once again. Squashing down his blone afro, as he slid in.
"Dang, this things messin with my dew."
He scooted towards the end, and pulled out a screwdriver (From his afro). He unscrewed the henges to the point, where a simple push could open.
"Time to wait out."
