In 3-4, when you meet Melissa, she seems to take an interest in you:
Mia: ...? (Is she... staring at me?)
Melissa: Umm... And you would be...?
Mia: Huh? I-I'm the defense lawyer. ...My name is Mia Fey.
Melissa: ... ...I see. So you are...
(And she's interrupted by the judge.)

Spoiler: T&T
This foreshadows Dahlia being related to Mia (her niece, right?). She probably heard the name "Mia Fey" and made the connection from her own mother.

Iris states it was after DL-6, as that was when the Kurain Channelling Technique fell into ruin. Anyway, Dahlia and Iris were both seven at the time of DL-6, but Dahlia also says she convinced her father to leave Iris at the temple at that time... so she's just REALLY evil, I guess... Or has an incredibly stupid father.

In T&T Elise is trying to learn Pearl some words, Gravely and another one, does that also count as foreshadowing?
(as Pearl tried to read the letter she'd got from Morgan then..)

Kind of, not exactly very clear foreshadowing though :P I remember the next line was Phoenix thinking something along the lines of, "What in the world is she reading?"

Well, looking at the timeline, supposing the twins left in early 2002 after the DL-6 incident Mia would've been 12 or 13 at that point, and she (Mia) probably left the village as a young adult to study law, so I suppose she might not have remembered them too clearly... And my brain isn't working too well today, so please explain what you mean by "seen that face more than once" - are you talking about why Mia failed to recognize her in 3-4, or 3-1?

It's a bad joke... when someone is an identical twin, obviously, you would see that face more than once. Mia had to have encountered both Dahlia and Iris when they were still living in Kurain.

And the twins should've been around eight years old then... I suppose it's possible to not recognize them, especially when that was the last time Mia saw them, but still.
