The Court Records Family Tree Festival

In an attempt to bring the tree back to life, here is my idea. Basically this is a similar concept to Pierre's Christmas Ball however it is limited to the Family Tree members only unless a non-member is invited by someone on the tree ;)

This will be hosted at Tree Central Dome ((lol, made up a random name)) and basically, it's like a reunion of sorts for everyone to chat and do anything really. There will be activities and 'on the spot' weddings held by our crazy priest/ess' in a style similar to Vegas weddings and more.

The most important rule of this is to have fun and do whatever as long as you don't break any of the rules which are conveniently listed below.

1. No Godmodding!
2. No explicit language or swearing and no weaponry or anything of the sorts unless it's relevant to the plot.
3. You are here to celebrate the reunion of all the family members as well as...anything really, so please socialise!
4. Have fun!

Since this idea is rough, we can improve on it in later posts. I'll start us off okay?

Tap sighed in relief as he finally finished putting together the last masterpiece for the secret festival he was planning to hold. He looked around, smiling as he saw his work coming to life. The sun shined on Tree Dome Central, highlighting the large field soon to be filled with his relatives having fun.

In one corner, there was a large snow field, all prepared by his butlers. The other corner had a large building in which it was filled with puzzles and everything of the sort. The rest was a secret until everyone had arrived and saw for themselves.

Turning around, he walked to the gate of Tree Dome Central. There was an office for a security guard there but no one was present. Entering, he pushed a red button on the main console. Slowly, the tree to TDC started to open up. He pressed another button and the neon sign lit up.

It was time.

Apolla rushed around her kitchen, gathering everything she needed. She couldn't forget her invitation to the festival, but she couldn't remember where she had placed it. Eventually, she found it as it wound up under the toaster somehow. She folded it and stuffed it in her back pocket as she grabbed her car keys from the table and ran outside. It was almost time, and she couldn't be late.

Justis sighed as he entered the hotel room. It had been a long flight down and he was very tired and very annoyed. He was beginning to question coming to the reunion in the first place. As he recalled, the last time had been to a reunion he had ended up on fire. Even so, Tap's hosting this reunion, so hopefully things will be a bit more under control, Justis thought, trying to convince himself. There was a cynical voice in the back of his head which said "With your family Justis, you know that's just wishful thinking". Justis sighed again.
Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Besides, I suppose there could be some fun to be had. And after how much I spent flying down here, it'd be a complete waste for me to go home now. I'll just take a quick nap and head on over to the TCD Justis concluded, before drifting off into a nice, tranquil nap.

Papermario sat in his chair at home, wondering why his nickname was so ridiculously long compared to everyone else's. "I know!" he pondered, "I'll make it something simple, like Tom!"

Tom left the house, feeling a little special about having been invited without actually being a part of the Family Tree yet. He grabbed the car keys and jumped into his Civic, plugging in his iPod and listening to his favorite song on a very loud setting. "Ah, the joys of 'Don't Stop Me Now' by Queen." He would arrive at the festival, but not before one other stop he couldn't forget to make...

((Okay, I'm sorry about the previous post, with all my selfish ranting. All is well, though, as KSAT~ has invited me. Well, let's get this festival started!))

Angel was in her house and smiled as she opened the windows, the sunshine entering the house. Suddenly, a ding resounded in the living room, and she went to the laptop to see the new e-mail. She read,

KSAT~ wrote:

As a friend of our family, you are officially invited to the C.R. Family Tree Festival held today at Tree Dome Central. We hope to see you there!

"A festival, hm?" Angel thought, as she printed out the invitation, put the computer on hibernate and got her green scarf. "And held by the largest family in the neighborhood, no less. There will be puzzles and many people to socialize with, so this may prove exciting." She checked for her door keys, locked the door and proceeded to walk to the TDC, with a smile on her face.

I've been away for far too long.

KSAT opened her letter box. I wonder if there's any new mail, she wondered. Sure enough, there in the letterbox was a letter addressed to her. She read it out loud.
"As member of the family tree, you are invited to come to the Tree Central Dome for the Court Records Family Tree Festival."
KSAT happily walked back to her house and put the invitation in her pocket. Hey, Angel arrived back in town today, I wonder if she would like to come? It would be a nice 'welcome back' surprise for her. KSAT headed to her computer and sent Angel an email. Then, getting the invitation out of her pocket and holding it in her hand, headed towards the TCD.

Angel continued to stroll along, her scarf flapping in the wind. Even though it wasn't that cold, she still loved to wear it. She said, "Oh, it's good to be back. I wonder if I'll see a lot of my old friends in the festival...." Just then, she spotted KSAT walking towards the TDC as well. Angel waved at her and said, "Hi!", hoping she'd be recognized.

Tap rushed around at the gate as he pulled out streamers, party hats, poppers and more. He cursed that he forgot all about this. If only he hadn't opened the gate already, he wouldn't have to rush. Sighing, he quickly ran all over the small area near the gate, throwing streamers into the trees. Rushing back to the gate, he put on a party hat and grabbed a popper, waiting eagerly for the first person to arrive.

"Here, take this as a welcome back present," said KSAT, handing her the package. "I'm glad to have you back around here." She noticed they were approaching the gate. I haven't been to a family reunion in goodness know how long.... Panda thought to herself. She loved family parties- the noise, the cake, the inevitable battles over what song they were going to play on Rock Band- and this one promised to be spectacular.

Tucking her invitation securely into the brim of her hat, Panda hailed a cab and after about a half hour of excitedly chattering the ear off her taxi driver, she hopped out just in front of the TCD.

Wow. Pretty. Tap sure went to a lot of effort with this!

She spotted her grandson and made a beeline for him, with the reasoning that he would know where the snacks were.

"Hey, Tap! Look who's here!" she yelled.

As Angel went with KSAT to the entrance of the dome, she marveled at all the beauty of the place. "Whoever organized this really wanted to make this extra special!" she exclaimed, as the remark echoed slightly in the structure. Then she heard a taxi speed off, and saw a woman rush toward another person in the TDC. Hearing her voice, she exclaimed, "Panda!" and grabbed KSAT to go to the two at the table.

Electro ran after his wife. He really did hate it when old schoolfriends stopped him when had had places to be. In this occasion: the newly constructed Tree Central Dome. What a name. It had been some time since he'd been with this many family members. Hell, maybe he'd be able to gather some more tenants. In any case, he needed to at least enter the place first.

BSX was sleeping on the floor by his letter box when an envelope came through the post and landed in his snoring mouth. It woke him up immediately.

"Omnomnom-nah? Gah I slept here again!"

He opened up the envelope and inside was an invitation for a Family Tree Festival. The first thing BSX did after reading was write a list of "good ol' time" speeches to tell his younger generations. He was an old man, apparently, after all.

He shoved the note pad into his jacket pocket and jumped onto his pink elephant motorbike.

"I wonder whatever happened to Justin."

He drove off to the location.

"Grandma Panda!" Tap exclaimed as he ran forward and hugged her.

"I haven't seen you since Dragon's wedding." he said, reminiscing over the time where everyone had suddenly disappeared. He frowned then shook his head. Smirking, he grabbed a party hat and chucked it on Panda's head then handed her a popper.

"Have fun here!" he chuckled then suddenly, his eyes narrowed as a motorcycle drove right past him. He signaled for two butlers. They came instantly.

"Go get that guy and his vehicle and chuck it into that lake over there." he said, pointing to the adjacent lake. They nodded and completed their deed a few seconds later.

Rarikou: There will be no illegal activity here at the festival/reunion thing. You have been thrown into the lake by the butlers for unruly behaviour. If you want to come in, then you must go through the Gate like a normal person :D

Yaragorm arrived, senile as always. He was getting old having realized that he already had great-grand nephews and nieces, it was a little unsettling.

"Hey! Where's the root beer?" he shouted excitedly but with a raspy voice. He then coughed his dentures out and put them back in.

"Ehhh?? Who said that? What's that? You want me to buy a gift? Kids these days, when I was a lad, we didn't give each other presents all willy-nilly!" He shouted wheezing as he took medication from his inhaler.

She began screaming into Yaragorm's ear, hoping he'd hear her this time. If he still couldn't, she was just going to start shouting insults at him. It'd be very funny, since he wouldn't be able to know what she was saying.
