It's like your own personal Facebook-Google. Or Faceoogle. Or Googbook." he said as he typed in DeMat's name and selected him from the list... of one person.

"Blast, he's not answering. Well, I'd say we should go to the Board HQ. The town must be nearing a riot, what with Dimbo's warnings and all. Must be utter chaos by now. But let's hope it isn't."
There was a ding from the command console.
"Ah, TRADIS fully repaired and ready." Shadow announced, gleefully. He looked around the vast interior for a moment. Then he looked at the scanner. "Hmm..."
He turned to Meeny, Dragon and Lewis. "What say we take a little trip to Lawville. Just a temporary one, to see what's going on while we wait for them? Don't forget this is a time machine, so I can get us back to the plane 5 seconds after we left. What do you all think?" he asked. Curiousity was driving him more than anything.

Lewis shook his head. "But who are we to say that we won't get mobbed when we step out of the TRADIS? As for your idea, Shadow, I'm all for it, but it's your choice really." Lewis paused for a moment and his expression turned sheepish. "Although... I haven't heard of Lawville before."

After thinking about Lawville, Meenyman remembered something quite important.
"Oh geez, I totally forgot. I was supposed to be investigating a case right now!! Looks like I found another reason for stopping by Lawville, haha. I hope I won't be too long when I go for a bit."

He pulled a lever on the console. The TRADIS came to life, the familiar grating noise alive as the time rotor went up and down, vibrating the room. "I'll take us back one minute before the broadcast! That way, no suspicions! I'll land us just outside the Police Station!" Shadow shouted over the noise.
The TRADIS gradually began to disappear from the hold of the plane, its light flashing brightly...
A minute later...
The TRADIS rematerialized in an alleyway near the police station of Lawville.
"And we're here." Shadow said frowning. "What shall we do first of all then?"

Panda was not a woman who panicked very often. She'd seen plenty of less than pleasant things and dealt with many less than pleasant situations but this was worse than any of them. It was clever, she supposed, for Dimbo to have indicted the Heroes to the public, but it was the biggest setback she could possibly have envisaged.
All of Lawville knew that Police Chief Panda Prinzessin was heading up the investigation into Dimbo's threats and it was possible someone had made the connection between her and the Heroes. Whether or not they knew she was a Hero, the mere fact that she was in charge meant that Panda was about to become pretty much the most hated person in town....
"Lady and gentlemen, I believe we have a problem...." Panda stated, removing her phone from her pocket and flipping it open. "This is the Chief of Police. I want a total power cut throughout Lawville, communications, lights, everything. NOW."

The missile hit the forcefield, creating an enormous explosion, shaking the ground violently! Sparks, flames, pieces of rubble were thrown around, cars crashing, windows shattering! Even the TRADIS, the console sparked, and the lights flickered as the ship rocked. Shadow fell back with Meeny and Panda, dropping his phone down the edge of the floor. It slid off the platform below and went down a small hatch. "Damn." uttered Shadow. He knew he'd never get the phone back now. It was about to be burned up in the heart of the TRADIS.
The ship stabilized and Shadow took a look on the monitor. The forcefield.. had turned a dark shade of red. "No. That is not possible. It was blue a minute ago... unless..."
Then it clicked. He set a course for Tap's lab. Then he turned to his comrades "Ohh... Panda, Meeny. I think you two should try to get everyone calm before the anarchy begins. Get to the police station, while I head to Tap's lab. Is that OK?"

"Oooww..." Dragon rubbed her head where it struck the wall after the explosion. "That hurts a lot." Her equipment was strewn around the roof, and she gathered them up and checked to see if everything was working okay. In the laptop's reflection, she saw the color of the sky. It was red. "RED?! ... The virus!" She packed everything quickly into her backpack and raced down to the street level. It was crowded as the inhabitants of Lawville ventured out to see the sky. Dragon headed for the TRADIS.
"Shadow! Something's wrong!" She shouted as she got closer.
