((My rpg takes place 20 years after Apollo Justice. All new characters, all new court staff. You welcome to add couple offspring just be creative. Ace Attorney Characters can make cameo's in cases and situations but join me in creating a whole new cast and pile of cases. ))

The down town court house, this would be a second home as well as a work place from now on. What a beautiful building it was too, it has ivory stone walls reaching up to the sky with ionic columns supporting beautifully carved friezes of law and history above the entrance. Each stain and water mark on the stone just gave the place a special nostalgic feeling. All those trials, all those famous attorney's and judges that came here just made the life seem all the more fascinating to a criminology fanatic. After so many visits you think one could just walk past it without a second glance but not for this wannabe judge. Rosalyn Thorn was just entering the court house for the first time as a lawyer with a goal of being an elected judge in the close future.

Rosalyn was a sweet girl and an honor student at her university, waiting to take her knowledge to the stand and make a name for herself. For a moment she reflected back on her grandfather who inspired her so much. He was a judge and a very odd one at that but he always knew the truth once it revealed it’s self :udgy:. His life lead Rose into her own, she started as an intern at a small lawyer office when she was picked up by a member of the wright and co law offices. They taught her not all cases need to be taken, only if you feel the person deserves help. With her softy heart Rose wanted to help everyone so without a second thought she leaps at the chance to assist.

Over at the Wright and Co Law offices hung a picture of Mia Fey, this one women who she knew very little about hung on the wall watching over everyone with a certain kind of divine guidance. Like she hung there for the purpose to smile at you when you felt down, or encourage you to keep going with her striking eyes. Mr. Apollo Justice ran the company now but was barely seen since he was bouncing around a bunch. When she first arrived tailing her current mentor Apollo told her something she wouldn't forget. 'It's good to see more people fight for innocence... welcome to our circle.'

As Rosalyn entered the quiet court building after reflecting, the early morning waiting to start. One could smell the cases just waiting for her to grab onto. Wrapped tight in her arms was her first client case file, a man charged with careless driving after being in a fatal accident which took the passengers life. She had yet to meet him but her mentor had called in sick asking her to take the files and proceed with the hearing. Nerves filled with excitement and fear she headed to the defense lobby #2 to meet her client.

Being by herself in the lobby except a quiet guard sipping on a cup of coffee from a Styrofoam cup she sat down with the file and read it over again. Trying to get all the details before she confronted anyone else about it.

Actually, most of my OC's Timelines take place in drastically different times.
But if you tell us a bit of what the RP is about then I'm sure more people will join.

((I was hoping to wing it, but I'll extend the original post with some more detail to help. I was hoping people would take the roles of the judge, prosecutor, her mentor the witnesses, defendants and we could all pitch in creating scenarios and cases in which the defense and prosecution switch out. So like an office of both sides each with their own goals. The defense could all be lawyers at wright and co law offices so I guess some characters from the original game can make cameos))

((Oh, oh, I'm interested! But I got to think of a character to fill in, and I guess I was sort of at a loss for what you actually wanted people to do, like DoMaya had... I didn't know whether a trial could go on smoothly if there wasn't really an idea of what really happened behind it... I mean, to prevent people of pushing in evidence that might not match with the facts as they presented themselves before. Regardless, I'd be interested to try it.))

((I guess that is enough guidance. I'll try to make the most of it.))

"Ok, ok. I'll go all over it again. From the beginning. Match everything. My position, what was happening before, in the middle, after..." A brownish figure muttered, leaning against a corner of the ivory walls of the corridor that lead to the prosecutor's lobby. The lobby is where he should actually be, yet he hesitated, showing obvious signs of intense nervousism. As for his appearance, he had pompadour-styled black hair and dark-brown eyes, wearing a buttoned brown overcoat, that concealed a purple shirt, and black jeans. Somehow, the fact that he was swiping back his hair nervously and frequently didn't seem to affect it's shape. But he was only doing it while there was no one else walking through the corridor. No prosecutor was supposed to see Bernard River in such a nervous state. He should appear as the calm, cool and reliable witness.

But it made him nervous to no end everytime he had to take the witness stand. I mean, who wouldn't be nervous? The attorneys of that era of law were ruthless, merciless pressers that would look for as many flaws as possible in every apparently faulty detail on a statement. Heck, even on a person's nervous twitches! That was their job, sure: to bare the facts crystal clear to the people that witnessed the trial. But that meant that witness should be prepared as well, or else they would be crushed over the attorney's rapier wit. Which wouldn't do for Bernard. It really wouldn't.

"Yes. Once more. The defendant, yeah... I could see him. His face was clear as day. Going on. Yes, there's more. This should do." He inhaled deeply, then released the air to calm himself, and in some seconds he looked as cooled down as he thought possible. Now it was time to meet with the prosecutor to help preparing the case. He moved slowly, but eventually got in front of the prosecution's lobby whose door was closest to him, which he assumed as the right one. He entered.

((well hopefully some more people join soon.))

Impatiently tapping her foot, Rose should of slept a little more since she was so anxious. Getting up she decided to pace the halls in search of her client. Informing the guard she would return soon Rose stepped out into the hall. She was wearing blue pumps with her navy pant suit. It was a little big since she was saving up the money to get it tailored but her wavy blond hair balanced out the look bring eyes up to her face. She clicked down the halls wondering if he was in another room. As she peeked down the other hall she was the witness standing in front of a door. Perfect! this was her chance to talk to him. So scurrying down the hall she snuck up on him. "Oh before you go in can I ask you some questions." She said almost coming out of nowhere.

"Hi I'm Rosalyn Thorn the stand in defense for today. I was just wondering if I can hear your side of the story... to fill in any doubts... could I borrow you for a minute?" She asked, she seemed sweet to be an attorney and young too but scary? Highly doubt it.

((Hopefully, they will... maybe they just think it is a little too vague.))

As Bernard was about to enter, someone spoke from right behind him, and he slammed his forehead against the door when surprised. "Gah! What the...?" He turned around to see who had starled him just now, and was face-to-face with a young girl in a blue suit, which he found peculiar at first, but at first just looked at her with an annoyed face. "Who are you?" Was what he would like to have asked, but the girl introduced herself anyway.

What?? This girl is the attorney? This can't be serious... she looks too... too... harmless. Attorneys are supposed to inspire fear on the witnesses so they won't hide anything, and yet this one... Bernard stopped that line of thinking before it got out of hand and the person in front of him would notice. He nodded. "Oh... you are the defense? My name is Bernard River. However, for you request... the detectives did advise me on the day of the incident to refrain from talking to others about it." He looked to her again, to be sure she was for real. The clothes were a bit baggy, but that was barely noticeable and she didn't look like she was joking around. "However, since you are directly involved with the case, I guess there is no problem. I don't believe I missed any detail on the report, though." He crossed his arms, smiling in self-content, as he liked to maintain a professional look to himself.

"I can give you a review, though. The incident happened at night, approximately 10:15 PM. I was on my way home, by foot, and the streets were rather desert. Just one or twice a car would pass, opposite to me. So it called my attention when I saw two pairs of flashlight beams. I turned around, but I didn't expect it to happen so fast... the accident, I mean. They were two cars in a straight line. The first made the curve in an astonishing speed. The second apparently tried the same, but it didn't work quite as much, for he crashed against a pole in the process. Despite being in a simple pole, it was a bad crash, that knocked the pole over. At that time, the window must have broken or it was simply open, for I could clearly see the face of the knocked out defendant through it. My immediate thought was calling an ambulance, and for my convenience, the was a phone booth nearby, although facing away of the incident's site. I made the call, and waited for them to arrive. At my account, it seems the defendant is being tried for careless driving, but as I see it, he deserve it." Bernard stopped to let all the information sink into the attorney's mind, although he imagined she knew most about it already. "If you have any further questions, you might as well voice them now, for I think the prosecutor is waiting for me" Bernard added, even though he would have preferred to go away as soon as possible, but the attorney looked so tiny, almost helpless, that he would feel bad if he didn't collaborate with her.

((yeah i know, I prefer to be vague so the people who join in can help me develop a plot and be part of the story instead of having a plot and protagonist and antagonist and then people have to squeeze in and fit my story. I want to make it OUR story.))

On a little note book on her clip board she was doodling in words with a gold encrusted pen she got for her graduating present. Listening carefully and staring him down with bright blue eyes she smiled when he finished. "Did you see my client on a cell phone before the crash? Or was the music blasting in the car?" She asked and looked through the papers in her file. "My client says he doesn't remember the crash at all."

Rose looked small and her innocent smile could be one compared with a puppy for cuteness but she wasn't a pushover and would make it clear she isn't just some noobie trying to make a living.

So after she finished jotting down her thought she hugged the files and looked up to him. "Do you know what careless driving means?"

((I understand, it is a pretty nice aim. I'll try not to mess it up. And OriginalBubs, I guess there is no problem that you join as the prosecutor, we need more people. ^^))

Bernard's face darkened when the attorney asked him if he knew what careless driving was. "Do you take me for a fool? Sure I know what it is." Actually, Bernard never saw anything official related to it, but he was pretty sure of what he knew. "Driving outside the standards expected from the person is careless driving. For instance, in this case it was clear, for there WAS a cell phone found by the defendant's feet. It certainly wasn't given enough attention until I testified about the accident, and evidence needed to be gathered. From what I heard..." He almost paused, for he wasn't certain of what he was saying now, as his indication had been vague, but he wouldn't let anything stand as suspicious in his speech. The girl was cute and apparently harmless, but she still was an attorney, and he ought to brace himself. For all he knew, that all could have been a trap. "...the cellphone listed a call made by the defendant at about 10:12 PM, and its duration extended to a little beyond the time of the crash. I myself can't say I saw the cellphone at that time, but I'm sure it was because it had fallen from his grip when he was knocked unconscious." The last part had a decisive tone to it, as he wanted to make people sure that he was certain of it. "Further, for some reason, the investigator believed he was under the influence of alcohol at the time, though that is still dark to me... I'm just an eye-witness, after all." He said, crossing his arms over his chest again, and sighing.

((I'm using my ideas here, but if you want to change a detail or two, you can do something like ask again with the indication that "there is something else on the report" or something. I don't want to direct the case so much it doesn't let people add anything to it.))

{{Very well, I suppose I could post my introduction now.}}

Alright, Robert, old boy, time to make your mentor proud. As he walked to the courthouse entrance, Robert Vaughn, a prosecutor quite a bit new to the profession began to make a mental checklist, smoothing out his short, dark blond hair. Alright, you're going up against Justice, at least, according to the case file you are. You're going to have to be PERFECT if you want to faze this guy. You've got the defendant's file looked over, you've got to get the witness ready, everything is almost in place. Vaughn pulled his prosecutor's badge out of the pocket of his gray suit. This is a symbol of your new life. This is a symbol of justice. This was earned, not given. Make it count.

Still, I can't believe they're making me go up against HIM for my first real case. Is it trust, or do they want to see me fall? Upon reaching the hallway connecting the lobbies, Vaughn noticed the witness speaking with someone. I suppose I should wait for him to stop first, then question him?

Rose put a finger on her lip and thought for a minute, her hip popped out to the side when she recalled a few details. "hm... I see, well I guess we can settle this in court yes?" She asked and winked. "don't go and change your story on me." She said and wrote down what he said.

"Oh and just so you know, Dangerous Driving ((need to change the charge did some research and careless isn't the one i wanted to use)) is the offense of driving without regard of the highway rules without due care for other persons using the highway or in the car. It's a criminal offense the worst car accident. Do you think my client purposely wanted to crash his car in result of the passenger death or do you think impaired driving in the result of death sounds more appropriate?" She asked with a sweet smile.

I liked your character's name, OriginalBubs. It reminds me of... Trauma Center. xD))

Bernard must have blushed a little for her posing and way of talking were certainly very feminine, but he was suddenly annoyed again. "What? I have my honor, I'll let you know. Why would I change my own statement?" The girl was getting to his nerves. She certainly had something of a confident attitude which was unbecoming of a newbie, so Bernard started to consider whether he should say more, for she might try to use any apparent flaw in his statement against his credibility.

Then she nominated what dangerous driving was, and Bernard rolled his eyes during the explanation. When she asked him something, though, he was again paying attention to her. "These are just aggravating (or not) circunstances, I believe? The fact that he did drive dangerously as I stated will remain, and he can be convicted in such grounds. Speculating should have no time in court." Bernard looked up for a bit. The answer he gave must have been rather vague, but it is what he should say. As sure as he wanted to be that the defendant was guilty, stating that would bind him to it, and he had no proof in hand... unless the prosecutor (whose presence went unnoticed by Bernard) had something more which he didn't know yet.

((Alright.))

Bernard had given the account a number of times, and he grew accustomed to it, however the attorney's impertinent (but expected) questions were making him regret he ever let she interrogate him before the actual trial. When he looked to the side, trying to distract himself while the girl wrote down her annotations, he noticed someone looking directly towards them. He wasn't immediately sure whether he was the prosecutor or not, but his keen witness' eye noticed that it held in his hand a badge. Though it didn't appear entirely, he could guess it was the prosecutor's badge which is rarely seen since they don't pin it on their suits often, like defense attorneys did.

"Ah, so you arrived, Mr. Prosecutor." He announced, waving his hand so the gray-suited man would not hesitate in coming closer. "I was about to enter in the lobby to see if we could get prepared for the trial. My name is Bernard River, and I'm your witness of the upcoming trial." After this, he looked at the defense attorney again. "I'm sorry this is the end of the interview, Ms. Thorn, but I believe anything else you might want to hear, you'll have to wait."

Slipping his badge back into his pants pocket, Vaughn walked up to the witness. "Yes, yes. I'm quite aware who you are. I was informed much earlier that you had witnessed the crime." He spoke in a business-like tone, but expressed neither anger nor annoyance. "I suppose we should get moving, Mr. Rivers. We do not have much time." He noticed the young woman, but didn't speak to her. Hmm... a defense attorney by the looks of it, probably multiple cases going on. But why would she be speaking to him? Oh well, not important right now.

This witness better have his story straight. My arrival into the profession will not be tarnished by a 'forgetful' witness.

((No problem. Ah, and it's because the second name of the character is Vaughn, which reminds me of Markus Vaughn from TC: New Blood (which was the first I ever played). That's why.))

Bernard nodded in understandment. The man looked very professional indeed, so maybe it was foolish to think he'd need an introduction, but it'd be bad form not to do so normally. Without looking at the defense attorney a second time, he turned around and entered the lobby, leaving the door open behind him so the prosecutor could follow. He mentally went over his testimony again during the process.

Vaughn started in Bernard's direction, pausing for a moment when he passed the women. "Good day, Ma'am." She may be an opponent someday, but for now she's just a normal person, right? Might as well be polite.
Upon entering the lobby, Vaughn pulled a reasonably-sized file from his briefcase and began flipping through it. "I trust you've gone over the incident in your mind, correct? Leaving no room for error?"

Bernard nodded positively, turning to Vaughn. "I have been with the incident in mind. It has been some time since that day, but as it happens, I have already been involved in other court cases before, that taught me to pay closer attention to details." He said with as much confidence has he hoped he had. Despite his past experience, he never knew which small details would be brought up by the attorney. However, the important facts were clearer in his head, especially after the warm-up with Rose. "So, I believe all the important facts are in my mind. I could repeat my account if that would acertain you of what I'm talking about."

Bernard would have done so right away, but he thought being hasty would be a sign of nervousism, which he didn't have plan to show at that time... or at any time that day.

"You may, if you so wish." Vaughn said, putting down the file. "Would do us both some good to do a little 'rehearsal' before the trial." He then noticed just how formal Bernard was being. "However, I think you may need to lighten up a bit. You said yourself you've been in other cases. Just stop being so... so formal, at least, until we face the judge. It will help both of us keep a clear mind." He then pulled out a bottle of water. "Care for a drink before you go on the stand?"

Vaughn had thought it would be a good idea to be kind to the witnesses, a thought most of the other prosecutors didn't seem to share, his mentors included. But he believed that showing attention to the witness would have them trust the prosecutor, and the court as a whole, a bit more. Doing this should, in his opinion, make the witness more likely to divulge information and, hopefully avoid 'stretching' of the truth.

{{We probably should develop the case, at least for a while.}}

((Alright, on to developing the case. You can fabricate any evidence in order to point out additional details or prove others... or what you think it'd make it interesting.))

"Eh?" It did surprise him that the prosecutor had offered him a drink. Certainly, any prosecutor would allow him some time to search for some water himself, but he didn't think any would actually offer the bottle itself. He noticed he might seem surprised, but then practiced a smile. Maybe he was getting a bit worked up over that case. "Thank you." he said, grabbing the bottle of water and opening it, drinking about a quarter of its contents, which was enough to refresh him. "I try to be formal because it is the way prosecutors prefer. Most of them, at least. I've been keeping this up for some time, now it's just coming out a little... naturally, I guess." He continued, once or twice stopping to drink a bit more. When he was done (having drinked half of it) he decided to start his account.

"So, the incident happened during the night, approximately 10:15 PM. At the time, I was returning home, by foot. The streets were strangely desert at the time, so my attention was raised whenever the cars passed. I heard two in particular approaching from behind, and turned my head to see. As it happened, I saw the cars in a straight line, and they were going to turn at a curve just ahead. Both of them passed by me at very high speed and turned. The first did it with prowess, but the one behind him tried the same and failed, crashing on a nearby pole badly enough to make it fall. At that time, I could glance at the defendant's face through the window, and when I saw him knocked out, the first thing I imagined I should do was call an ambulance, and I immediately searched for a phone booth, which conveniently I found nearby." He stopped and thought for a moment. "I am sure there are no errors, but are there points that...huh... need some light on them?" Bernard asked, remembering Vaughn's request that he'd be less formal.

"Yes well, most prosecutors tend to view their occupation in a 'different' light." Vaughn took the bottle and put it on the table in the the lobby and listened to Bernard, nodding at several parts. "Alright, your testimony seems sound, but I've got a few questions about the details. First off, could you tell what kind of pole the defendant crashed into? Power, telephone, light, things like that? Also, did you see if the first driver reacted to the crash?"

"I see." Bernard said, simply but admiring. Vaughn's different attitude was to be reckoned with at that time and age. "Well, as for the questions... yes, I remember, it was a simple but sturdy street light. If fell and broke, but the light of the other nearby poles helped me make out the defendant's face when I approached the car to see the situation of the driver. As for the other car..." He started, having to think for a second to recall it exactly. "He didn't stop. After the crash, I heard the roaring engine of his for some more time, and then it suddenly came to a halt. I thought this might indicate that it had stopped nearby, to check how was the other, but I didn't see the first car when I was approaching the second, nor any person on that empty road." Bernard finished, going over the moment again on his mind. "I believe an officer later asked me the same thing, what had become of the other car. But at the time, I saw nothing more of it."

"...Alright," Vaughn said after hearing Bernard's answers. Obviously this witness saw the whole event, and thus can be trusted. "I believe that is all we need to know, however, don't be surprised if the defense seeks you out on a minor detail." Despite this 'warning', most of what he heard about defense attorneys, or rather, just how they worked in court, was hear-say, possibly exaggerated from sour lawyers.

"I have to commend you, Mr. Rivers, for keeping such a level head. Most witnesses seem to be in shambles by the time they get to the courthouse.

Rose watched as the prosecutor walk by and she nodded to him with a smile, "see you inside." She mentioned softly and turned to leave. Maybe her defendant had arrived so she could question him. Pulling out the autopsy file of the victim of the incident she looked over his picture. Young, in his 20's with blue eyes and red hair. Died from loss of blood from a wound from his shoulder from a piece of the lamp post flying into the car and stuck into him. The defendant claims he remembers nothing from driving because he was too inebriated to drive, time to find out the truth.

(ima play the defendant cause hes going to jail in the end)

As she opened the defendant lobby door there he sat, dressed in an orange jail suit and handcuffed. The 23 year old brunette sat with a pathetic look on his face.

"Hello Mr. Dray I'm going to be your defense attorney for your trial." She said and sat beside him. "Are you going to be okay? I know the victim was your best friend from high school." She said and patted his hand.
"No no i'm not okay, these people think I'm a harden criminal! I don't even remember what happened!"
"Oh please calm down."

((Alright.))

"I've been somewhat hardened by now, and I know a bit of how the defense tackles the cases, exploiting any weakness the witness and their argument show, even if it is just caused out of nervousism that is normal for any person upon coming to a court of law." He commented, but stopped there, fearing that would end up becoming a rant of sorts. He smiled again to the prosecutor.

"I'm sure it's not anything really big, though, compared to what you have to do. You are the one responsible for convincing the judge with arguments and evidence. I am but a mean for you to further prove your point." He said, for that exactly was the impression the other prosecutors had imprinted on his mind.

"Well, it's good to know you understand how both sides of the court work. But, the defense is just doing it's job, just as we are."

Vaughn then smiled slightly at Bernard's next statement. "You flatter me far too much. Though I have my evidence and arguments, without a witness, human or otherwise, does any of it have any meaning? The witness is integral to the case, as the witness proves the point presented by the evidence that only they can."

Rose closed the files she had and smiled, "Don't worry I promise to get you out of this pinch. You'll just have to pay for driving drunk okay?" She asked/stated when the guard came in.
"It's time to bring him into the court room." The blue suited man said.
Drey looked up fearfully at the guard and back to his attorney. Her smile and confidence helped him relax as he was dragged off into the court room with Ms Thorn at his side. "I have to ask... how many cases have you won?" He asked skittishly.
"Honestly? This is my first case..." Rose said without hesitation.

"I guess you're right on both points, even though I still think that evidence has a greater significance..." Bernard said, nodding as in self-ascertion of what he was talking about. "So the only thing we need to do is our jobs... and the time is ripe." He added, looking at his watch, which was half-hidden by the long sleeve of his overcoat. "I believe the court is going to start in a few minutes." He stood up, ready to move on after his colleague in work was ready as well, but he used the time to ask him something.

"You seem to inspire some confidence... I wonder if you're already a veteran prosecutor?"

"I believe you are correct. I trust you know what to do until you are needed, correct?" Vaughn said, sticking his files back into his briefcase. Upon hearing Bernard's next statement, he paused for a moment. "... while I appreciate the compliment greatly, I am sorry to say I am but a 'rookie'. In fact, this is my first case 'flying solo', though I've proved myself before my colleagues in the past. But my history is not important right now. Our task is upon us, so let's set off, shall we?" And thus, the prosecutor set towards the courtroom.

Hmmm... he may have a point. I might actually stand a chance in court, and show them what I'm made of. Who the defense is doesn't matter.

((I've never been to court, but... I assume I just have to wait until my name is called out before I can present any testimony, but I don't know where to wait. Is there a special room for it?))

Bernard nodded. He seemed to do that a lot, now that he thought about it. "I'll wait for your summons..." He commended in a low voice, as Vaughn seemed thoughtful about what Bernard had said, but then replied with honesty. "Oh. Well, you've proven yourself before, that must be why you're this composed. That is good enough. Let's go, then." He finished simply, feeling the thrill of a fight that was about to begin.

{{ I honestly have no idea, but going by AA logic, I believe you would be in the audience, or, like you said, there's some sort of special room.}}

"Very well, and thank you, for the compliment I mean." Vaughn said, beginning out the door of the prosecutor's lobby. "It shouldn't be too long before you are summoned." As Vaughn began his way to the court room, he felt the nervous twinge in his stomach dissipating, partially due to Bernard's words of encouragement.

Bernard followed him in the way out of the lobby, and to the courtroom. He was silent as they crossed the corridor and into a room which came just before the courtroom itself. Bernard stared intently at the big doubledoor that covered the "room of the truth", as he liked to think of them.

So it begins again... He thought as he gave one more look to the prosecutor before opening the doors for him to enter. Bernard made his way inside first, to survey how the courtroom was. It seemed that it hadn't started yet, and the defense wasn't present, but he imagined it would come soon. He also couldn't help but be rather impressed that there was this number of people present for such a trial, but apparently trials were something trendy and cool now. Maybe they just didn't have more to do for their amusement, or maybe they had a good reason to be there... people related to the accused or the accidental victim. Their lifes' story could be somewhat irrelevant to a witness, but it didn't stop to bug Bernard for some reason.

After this quick survey, he went back to the hall so he could wait for Vaughn's summon.

After waiting for Bernard to enter, Vaughn soon followed. As he entered, he could see that many members of the audience were watching him. He also noticed that the defense was nowhere to be seen. Hmm... I suppose even 'legends' arrive late occasionally. Taking his spot in the courtroom, he noticed just how many people were in the audience. While it was safe to assume that most of the audience were friends and relatives of either the defendant or victim, he knew about the 'others'. People that seemed to view the courtroom as a sport, or a game. Some even followed thier 'favorites' from trial to trial. While Vaughn saw the whole thing as rather foolish, he would admit that having a little 'fanbase' wouldn't be such a bad thing.

(actually the witness stands in the hall and doesn't enter the body of the court till he/she testifies. That way their story is not effected by what is presented and said by others of the court. They can sit after the testify.))

Rose entered the court room and went behind the defendant stand and laid out her files. She watched as her client took a seat and paid no attention to the people in the room. It was a court of law not a show case for Television. Standing high and proud Rose waited patiently for the judge to walk in. She wasn't late unless the judge arrived before her. Looking across at the prosecution she winked with a smile.
Mr Drey sat down like a piece of meat on display, all those eyes on him and the judgmental stares, this alone would scar him the rest of his life.
