Anyway, we're planning a MayaXNick WEEK(This time for real, I hope) in the end of Juny. All 2-2... You know.
Argh, didn't finish writing my 2-4 fic(BTW icer, it's not the bad ending one, it's an after 2-4 fic. I'm planning to write the bad ending one for the MayaXNick week, and I can tell it's totally different than yours.)
But I had some time to jump to FF and found some intresting fics:

A really nice one, chapter one is better. Chapter 2 was not that necessary, but it was fun to read.
Guilt ridden
Three words: short yet awesome.
2 other things:
-I found another song for the vid and I wonder if it's a good song for Lawyer\Maya... I really don't know. It's nice and all but I can't explain, I just have this feeling.

Anyways, I finally got around to reading Our Secret Mission and I can't believe what I was missing out on! XD My only concern was

but, given everything else, it's a negligible concern and I've seen (and am guilty of) worse. So overall I felt that it was successful at showing an ongoing, romantic relationship while still addressing (and in some cases tiptoeing around) the canon constraints.

Yeah, we are still doing this, right? Ummmm... going by what happen last year, June is the start of the American summer and things pick up around here because said people have more time and [certain shippings get more militant or at least they did last year], I assume May is the end of the school year which is why nobody's around now or whatever. So it being June June 19-22 State vs Fey [JFA case 2] maybe people have time to do something, or do we just ditch the idea and go for Sep 5 only like last time?

That would create a disturbance in the space-time continuum. Without the incident with Dahlia Phoenix would never have get to know Mia and without her he never gets to know Maya and then there would be no disturbance, but without the disturbance there is a disturbance and...it's getting complicated

The fact it's an AU and an alternate reality can compensate for the 'spacetime continuum'. Or a spirit power [how convenient.] Maya can introduce him to Mia after they're a couple.

I personally don't like shipping them in the first game when she's 17 - in my headcanon, she has a one sided crush on Nick in that game. But a 14 year old with a 21 year old really is not on. She's not even 15 yet...

Yeah, I'm pretty open to everything. I mean, it just seems silly to get into fights over pairings; people should like what they like, regardless of whether they have canon support or not. Any kind of support that can be interpretted from canon can be debated, anyway.
I've seen quite a few requests for it on the PWKM, but not many filled, which makes me go sadface! I've drawn some myself, but I'd love to see other artist's interpretation of the pairing. && thank you very much. <3

Oddly enough, I don't think that Maya fits with anyone else. I can imgaine Nick with Edgey, Godot and even Franny. (He fits the best with Maya, don't get me wrong!)
I wish I had some time to read old fanfictions... I only have time to look at the new ones, and I don't like them at all.
